GETTING STARTED
To use the Houston Federal Credit Union App, you must be enrolled as a Houston Federal Credit Union Internet Banking user. If you currently use our Internet Banking, simply download the app, launch it, and login with the same Internet Banking credentials. After you successfully login to the app, your accounts and transactions will begin updating.

Great app for making transactions and monitoring activities. Essential tool for controlling personal budget.
Since the upgrade, this app has been a very pleasant experience while using it. I hope it remains that way.
I couldn't see it being any easier to use. They do make you change you password occasionally to keep you safe, which is a bummer especially if you are in a hurry to transfer funds or deposit a check, but I know it's for my good. HFCU on Tomball Parkway has helped me by offering me rates that others could not on several occasions. I highly recommend them and this app.
The app is easy to use, it could use a bit of maintenance on updating account information because sometimes it cannot establish a connection with the server and update balance information, etc. But it's a really good app to use and the e-check system is simple and easy to use.
Have never had an issue with it. Saves gas and time
Can do most of the daily things, so I don't need to use the website near as often. Clean interface and works much better than most banking apps. The banking support is good, although haven't had to interact with the app devs

Not sure if it's reliable anymore. I used this to maintain my card but I was still hacked.
Basic, slow and buggy. Does it's job. I end up using the mobile browser version 50% of the time. Does not allow transfers after the update
App is fine in terms of layout, but a HUGE problem is the balance will take a while to update. As in 3 or 4 days. And the Transactions list will sometimes take a week to give you the list of charges.
Immediately uninstalled. App doesn't even get past the login screens. Repeatedly error message of "unknown error occured" when adding contact information for two-step verification.
This is an okay app. I wish it had more functions like Zelle or the ability to deposit in the app. I'm very happy with the back services through.
I love my new account features. Great way to save, deposit checks from home. There are many other great features depending on your personal needs. Had my account for several years. The business clerks are the best!
Works without issue on my S9, knock on wood. Quick and easy access leads me to use this mobile version more than the pc browser version.

Very bad experience with app. Balance do not update for 4 to 5 days. You would think transaction is already applied and after on average 4 days total will be will be updated. Very bad app. Great bank worst bank app ever.
Easy to setup, update, and use. I've been with HFCU for over 20 years. They are simply the best and this app is a great tool.
Great app, I've had HFCU for a while and have had no problem with them. Even when I lived in Oklahoma for a while and was working for a company in the summer I was able to access my account using the app.
I used to love this app. But when I accidentally logged out. I tried to log back in and now it tells me I need to download the authy app. Authy app does not work for me. So I had to delete the hfcu app. I guess I have to bank the old fashion way.
HFCU is the very best! Friendly people, great service and a super app that allows you to easily do anything with your account.
If you don't use the app for a while, it make you change your password. If log out it's a struggle to log back in.

For a credit union, the app is so solid. I just wish you could do cash advances from the app. Otherwise, A+.

if you go inside for help, be prepared to wait. the am cards will wear apart in 3 months. and checks will set you back a pretty penny. you can't deposit at most ATMs. only 1 takes deposits thru ATM, it's in Sugar Land. but it's called "Houston" Federal credit Union.
Don't plan your budget with this app. Transactions are not real-time. Use only to check your balances. Expect 24hour lag if you're looking at your transactions.
Your automated phone system leaves much to be desired. The prompt do not work when pressing them to follow the menu. It is very disheartening and irritating!
