Established in 1993, TranStar manages the region’s transportation system and is the primary coordination site for state, county, and local agencies when responding to incidents and emergencies.

Takes too long to update, and updates can be wrong. Cleared becomes not cleared, and stays whether it's cleared or not.
Old app was much better. I hate the new travel times. Before you could just enter your starting and ending points and given the total travel time. Now I have to add up all the individual times. On busy mornings, I dont have time to do this. I just want the actual time from point a to point b!! Please fix this as the new travel times are useless. Thank you.
The old app that lets you use it was By Far better the new one is unusable because of the Stupid Warning that blocks you and makes you struggle to try to get past it so you can check travel speeds/time.... And other routes ,i can't figure out how to attach a image but I'm pretty sure you know the warning thing that Blocks the map of you get stuck in a back up all of s sudden you can't get to the map to find a way out
It's very glitchy and crashes often. Also the traffic lines show up multiple times and not sure what's going on but I'll be using the standard website for now. I feel like this app is still in beta mode.
This app is utterly useless. I downloaded it because of the storm moving so I could keep up with road flooding. When I needed it most, the app “couldn't connect to TranStar" and now I've been stranded on the road for four hours.
The app isn't updated at all. 30° outside and on the app it said it's 68 partly cloudy. Road closures aren't showing any of the many roads closed. If I could give it 0 I would.
Junk! Does not work! Never loaded. Repeated message that cannot connect to Transtar. Retried many times with no success. Really needed this during Imelda storm! Uninstalled this useless app!!
The app is horrible. I downloaded it and it gives me a terms of use and privacy message, but no place to either confirm or reject it. I just want to see a traffic map, but cannot.
Nice and simple. Does what it says it will do. Looksike it uses the official closure and construction list from transtar, gets me closure info other maps can't get.
Was a pretty good app until the 8/27 update. Now it keeps crashing on startup. 8/28: back up to 5 stars for the quick fix
The app is showing outdated information... It's feb 12th and 35 degrees this morning in Houston, the app is stuck on Jan 21st and a balmy 68 degrees... How can I trust road conditions when it can't get the date right...
The app has always worked great & is my total go-to for traffic in Houston. However, it crashed on launch right now on my Galaxy S10+. 🥺🥺
Seriously limited performance if you don't enable GPS. Please fix this- I know where I am and can find myself on a map. But worse, during a severe storm, my phone CANNOT GET A GPS SIGNAL THROUGH THE CLOUDS!!
I give you 5 stars. Please make it better. For as when I cluck on the button to see me moving on the map. Later I have to back to cluck the button because I'm not moving on the map
Doesn't show all construction or anything that is updated either construction or upgrades to what is happening now hearing updates or optional services especially to get police blocking roadways
I think it is very good. Takes a little exploring around to get use to it. I think it is better that any other Houston traffic apps.
Overall very informative. But if there was more information about the traffic on HOV lanes, that would be an enormous help!
This app has has really come a long way since I downloaded it a few years ago. I don't drive anywhere until I view it!
use to work fine. now it wont show any speed flows. which is the main reason i used the app. pixel 2xl
Upon first use I had to repeatedly click AGREE to dismiss the ToS/Disclaimer prompt three separate times before it finally stopped reappearing.
Inaccurate. Routinely wrong about construction and closures.
App dev quickly responded to my email and fixed app. Works great!!!
Very handy in a city where the traffic sucks and getting worse.
Very useful to go somewhere and save time.
Cameras are off line or don't update very often.
App does not works, it keeps saying loading.

This is a really useful and well done app. I check it frequently. It is there to give you eyes-on information on road conditions and weather hazards to keep you and your loved ones safe.
