Hover - Drone & UAV pilot app

Like most others, this gives a full yellow screen. I tried this app 6 months ago and it did the same thing. Downloaded it again, mid March 2019, and still a yellow screen. Trying to use it on a Galaxy S9 so you would expect it to be compatible but it's not. Bottom line, skip this one and go with the boring but official one from the FAA.

I received a notice that the app was built for an older OS. I have a newer so it was fair enough. I had a yellow screen like others mentioned. I swiped on the screen and got a menu. The map did not load but the record flight showed up, the irrelevant knews about climate change worked and that is a far as I got. I can't knock it entirely because I have a newer OS and the app specifically said it might not work, I cannot give a rating over 3 as I cannot see how it works.

Pretty terrible when you have a flagship G7 PHONE and the app continuously opens to yellow screen and won't respond. not to mention it corrupted my personal settings including changing the wallpaper during 2 consecutive reboots. Absolutely had no control and had to ride out the assault this app performed to my device. SW engineer needs a re-valuation / fired.

Constant yellow screen. Hasn't worked in ages! Was a useful app while it lasted, but it has been broken for more than a year and if it doesn't work on my Pixel device I'm confident it doesn't work on other devices as well. Shame.

Normally boots into a yellow screen on Android. What's really happening is that the app is trying to connect to api.hoverapp.io and is getting an error 521. With a bit of work you can get it to work, but it doesn't work well enough to actually use.

Works perfectly on Android 7. Using it for the flight log feature. Allows storing of flight map and details by mission. Emails to you for screen shot back up on a PC and can use the link to view on a phone that uses a newer OS so no app issues there.

I only see a yellow screen when the app launches. Tried reinstalling, still only a yellow screen. @Devs, if I click the multi app button while using it, I can see a 502 error in a web page. I have a screenshot if you want it. Using a Note 8.

In Netherlands the allowed flying zones indicated by this app, are totally incorrect. It only considers airports, air corridors and some nature. There are much more restrictions than that. Do not use this app in NL if you don't want to be in trouble.

Uninstalled. No longer works with newer versions of Android which is s shame be4tjis was a great app. Left with a blank yellow screen and a warning from Google Play services go say it was designed for an older version of android

App needs to be updated and optimised for newer android os the current version is outdated does not connect to servers all the time. Screen stays yellow and maps don't show up.

Downloaded it and got a yellow screen. My phone crashed too. When i finally got it restarted, i opened the app again, got the yellow screen again, tapped the screen in different places and suddenly I was in the app. Weird.

Well the Samsung Galaxy S10 the app just opens to a yellow screen. You can tap and the app opens, however, the map page still only shows a yellow screen (no map). App appears to be broken.

Does not work at all on samsung s9+. It launches hot displays nothing but a yellow screen. Does nothing else. Download if you want to look at a yellow screen and nothing else.

The last time I checked a solid yellow screen doesn't do a good job of relaying information and I'm guessing that a solid yellow screen isn't what you're going for. If it is let me know and I'll update this review to 5 stars.

The app stopped working a very long time ago. All it does is make the screen yellow and then nothing else. Uninstalling.

Was once one of the best UAS apps, but no longer works at all. The developer should have given development access to someone else or a company before disappearing. It's a shame to see such a great app wither without support.

Good app.. shows everything you need.. Make sure battery is charged before opening as it will stay on a yellow screen. Requires a beefy phone, a phone with 16 GB ram is perfect.

As most of the reviews state this app hasn't gotten an update in years and is apparently no longer supported by its developer. It's useless for modern versions of phones.

I just installed it on my Samsung Note 8. I couldn't do anything with it. It just shows a yellow screen over my whole screen and doesn't let me do anything. I can't even back out. I just have to go to my home screen and close the app.

When I open the app yellow screen is shown and this is as far I was able to process. I'm using Samsung S9 Plus.

Tried it after I saw it recommended online. Unfortunately on my Huawei Rne-L21 Android, just a blank yellow screen shows and that's it. Too bad, wanted to try this.

Does not work on Samsung Note 8 or Tab A. Just displays a blank yellow screen. That's too bad because many of the reviews were so good.

The App worked great in iOS, but here it refuses to open. Just shows a blank Yellow screen. Its a shame I cant use this app on Android.

Just a solid yellow screen. I just switched to android from iPhone - bummed that this app doesn't work on android.

This was my go to app, but recently the server is frequently down. If the server is down you only get weather information.
