This is a tutorial, not a game app. This app will teach you how to play go and introduce you to a solid foundation of strategy. Every example is explained quite well and you can step forwards and backwards through every example as needed.
I'm really made up with this app. I learned a lot. note that this is good not only for complete beginners but also people with some experience too. I've already been playing for a month and have learned a lot from it and my game has improved for sure. a bit more content would be nice, but it is easily with the price.
This is what you want a Shogi app to do, to teach you everything necessary to possibly gain a friend by the end of the game. The serious GO app is four times more expensive, but if you don't play GO with friends you want this app first.
Well worth the money in my opinion. The app's design is poor, however, I learnt a lot and there's still a lot I can get from this app. More experienced players might be wasting their time, but for me it has been an eye opener.
Great way to learn the basic strategies of the game. Very helpful game commentators when you are just starting out.
$5 for 10 minutes worth of learning materials. Doesn't even include the actual game.
Not enough content for the price listed.
App oudated, Can you please update to Android v10-v11 SDK v29-v30. Good for beginners, but is very short. Need more content. Can you add more content?
I love this app and it helped me understand more than what I knew from just playing. Only thing I have to say is as a go player I know there are more for a 30 kyu to learn before he/she is ready for a game. If the developers of this app can do it I'll love to see fuseki and joseki here too. And maybe learning games we can play from first move to last so that we can learn from to improve.
阿弥陀佛。。。Amituofo...Five stars...For those who think this app is too short, what were you expecting? The app says so aptly its for beginners. You expecting it to bring you up to dan level?
Great way of teaching Go!!
It's teaches the basic fundamentals of Go and gives you a great understanding. I really would recommend this to people interested in Go. I learned a lot.
Not bad for the basics. Will show you basic moves to teach you the fundamentals. Besides playing a person this is another great way to learn. Only drawback is its kind of short. This company makes a Japanese language go problem solver that has way more. Waiting for the English version.
As a complete beginner, I managed to understand the basics of go with this great application.
not only a great app, but the best resource i have found so far for learning go (I don't have a teacher). The criticism of being too short is unwarranted: I find there is a lot of content to go through. Shows how to manage a game from start to finish, and builds your mastery incrementally
