How to Tie Knots - 3D Animated

Very clear and no pop-ups It also has knots by categories- and even shows how to tie a bowtie and like 5 different styles of a tie for formal wear. And it's free!

Very easy to follow the steps. Learned my first knot in seconds. Could be improved with a glossary. Navigation is a bit clunky. Would be nice to have a jump to home in the menu. Annoying rate the app at the end of instructions instead of return to choices. Also, some of the "purposes" could use some sub-categories.

Very nice animations with accompanying descriptions. More clear than other free apps. Allows you to adjust the speed (but not colors). Would prefer a better search interface, at least including alternative names in the result (for example, it's more popularly called a "square knot" but will only be found by searching for "reef knot"). Really not a fan of the in-your-face Rate This App button. Any app that constantly badgers me to rate it automatically gets downgraded at least one star.

The application is very useful It may be the best way to teach knotting! Of course, training some nodes can be better!

Search web however few options when knots were concern the ads are quite frequent but it was inexpensive so one finds difficult complaint. 4 st

The illustrations make each knot clear and the steps don't get ahead of what we can understand. I'm glad I got it.

Most intelligently designed knot app I found - & I've bought & examined all I can find! Rather than just throwing the knots at you in catagories that are utterly random & contain the same bloody knots repeated again & again to try & make you believe the app has far more knots than it truly does, this app starts by showing it has 69 total knots. It then lists the categories & how many knots are in each, so you can pick by category or from the main list of every knot. Best is the 3D tying of each!

I wish there was a button to download all of them in one click. Also, maybe add the knots uses, etc.

I have always wanted to learn more knots and this app is great. The visuals are easy to follow, descriptions are solid, and it works when there is no internet avaliable. Can't wait to spend some time at a campsite playing with rope.

For all the people who are getting all the ads. Just turn off your internet or mobile data connection. This I have found stops the ads from popping up. Over all this app is fantastic but I haven't gone in deapth with it though so still a lot to find out.

Excellent so far. Takes you through step by step, and the graphics are realistic. I'm using basic sailing knots and plenty to choose from in the free version.

Im a novice. No prior experience beyond tying my shoes and neck tie. This app is incredibly well thought out and i found the animated iillustrations very easy to understand.... If you consider yourself a prepper or just want to up your game or challenge yourself.... This will do all of those and save you a little money too! Immensely pleased. Thanks Guys! Very Sincerely... A large number of knots for all purposes. The uses for each are explained and the animations are clear and easy to follow. Great app for learning to tie any kind of knot.

I have NO NEED for this info, except for wanting to learn something new. This is so cool!! I'm glad I found it. If you're like me and like acquiring new knowledge, for no reason, check it out.

A lot of knots. Visuals kinda okay, but no way to go back to home screen without hitting back button many times. Also you have to press > multiple time

I just recieved this phone. it's not working right at all. everything is coming thru as negatives. like old fashion picture negitives, I can't tell what anyone looks like or what the page is displaying. it's super slow,, freezing up. changing screens. NITEMARE. CAN'T GET ANYONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT UNDERSTANDS ENGLISH. if I'm on a call & a notification comes thru it hangs up the phone. therefore I'm getting no joy or pleasure out of any app, web page, message or phone call. someone help!!!

The step by step animations are awesome. Like any skill, learning to tie various knots take a lot of repetition. Practice, Practice, Practice.

You can tie knots. The graphics could be sharper.

This is the best way to learn period! You get the basic mechanics of the weave without copying someone's methods or potentially bad habits. Plus this app is just a fun way to learn .

Very easy to find the knot I want and easy follow directions

Has nearly every knot you'll ever need to know... from fishing to fashion. It's convenient that knots are downloaded once selected and then no longer require the internet to access them.

Easy to follow visuals, very easy to learn many useful knots. Better than a book. Animation makes them easy to learn.

When I see it being tied without hands in the way. I see how more simpler it is. One of the finest apps we ever seen!

No complaints! 5 stars remain but how could you not include trucker's hitch. UK version is my favourite, by the way. Also, doesn't work in landscape mode.

Having all of the different knots on me when I need them has been so useful. I never would have been able to remember each one and what it was use for. I use the different at work and home. At first guys gave me a hard time for using the app. I noticed some of the other guys using the app and I am beginning to remember more and more. Thank you

Hopeless! The adverts are positioned such that they cover the buttons that navigate the instructions for tying the knot. This makes this app completely unusable.
