I've used this app many, many times in the past & still do today. Ilovehow there are animations on how to make the knots instead of just stagnant pictures. I wish they add more knots to this app, but they haven't updated this app in five years or so.
WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I've been watching knot tying tutorial videos for a week and STILL couldn't figure out the basics!! this app is going to be a favorite of mine!!
the free version is awesome but i wanted access to the knot tutorials in the pro version. the tutorials wont download. fix it and i will gladly give 5 stars.

should download all knots automatically or at least give an option to do so. Some knots might be needed in places internet is not available.
I am interested in knots as a hobby and as an outdoorsman. They turn a simple rope into a purpose-built tool. These knots are fun, interesting, and engaging. I'm in the Navy and want to continue the tradition of ropes and their employment to do specific jobs to increase my capability. MUST HAVE AP!
Could be just "the best" if it wasn't lacking some of the well known knots, such as the Zeppelin bend, and if it had more cross-reference info on the knots, such as "related knots" and the knot number in the ABOK (Ashley Book of Knots). But in terms of the UI, and consequently its educational value, it is the best.
Fun to learn and hope to use in a pinch, might even impress someone along the way.
This is an excellent app. There's knots in here I've not found in the others.

Clear, simple animations guide you through the most complex knots, bends and hitches. Paid for Pro and have had none of the issues reported by others.
The 3D instructions of the common whipping knot is incomplete. It doesn't show the very last step to complete the knot. Other than that it's a fantastic app that is clear to follow and helps make learning knots simple.
