Hoxx VPN

It allows me to circumvent some region restrictions. It's not always fast, but it mainly works for my purposes and it's free!

Facing too many issues like connection errors and most of the time the app doesn't even open.

It worked very well the first month but there was an update and the VPN doesn't work

Not enough free data when compared to the competition.

In the past when trying VPNs to access American Netflix absolutely nothing has happened and it still says I'm in Canada. With this VPN, I go in to Netflix and it says it can't connect. I suppose that means that it's doing something (unlike the others) but I'm only giving 2 stars because I still can't get into Netflix. I have a strong internet connection and haven't experienced these issues before, so am fairly confident it's the VPN, not my phone.

For only using the free service it is not bad. I use their pc version too so u could say I'm a loyal member and there is a bit of bias. It works and does what it needs so it good in that aspect. My issue is that even on the free pc version the app allows for more servers I think it would be better if there were more servers available. I don't mind the ui but Idk why I get a tacky knock off vibe but that's not too bad of a thing.

This is my go-to VPN on my laptop so when the android app came out I immediately downloaded it so I could access US content in the UK. The last version worked brilliantly on my old mobile phone, but today, after the app updated, I can't connect to any server (US, Canada, France, or even the UK!) with my Samsung A70, saying my device is "blocked by a gov/school/ISP" but I'm under the same UK gov/ISP as with the last update which never had issues before. Really disappointing. :(

Update: Linux Version fails to run. Updates: It crashes every first time I open it and the second time it opens but still do not function properly. Previous: Hoxx, why is every line on Android platform won't work or is of extremely low speed (6 kb/s) while the Windows plugins works perfectly... Please get the line to work faster! And by the way, will my connection become faster after my purchase? How fast is the premium server? Previous: It works but the speed is way too slow. 20kb/s. :(

I was overall very happy with Hoxx. I however decided to cancel my subscription, taking advantage of their "money back guarantee, no questions asked" policy. I had to send countless emails to finally, 1 month later, receive the answer "You did not provide a satisfactory reason for the refund", which completely contradicts the refund policy. If I receive a more coherent feedback from Hoxx's support, I'll be happy to add a few stars to this review, because their product is actually really great

Its Simple and Effective. No inyourface advertisement or asking you every ten seconds to give them 5 star BS. Just sign up and enjoy. Gives great speeds as well. I use it both in android and as an extension in chrome in my PC both with the same account as well. Highly Highly recommended... :)

The PC version of this works excellent, but the Android version has certain problems which are: 1. After I select a server, "Hoxx vpn" just shows up on the notification panel and nothing else happens, everything else is just the same 2. This app seems to be draining battery faster

Top excellent! I rarely take the time to write a review for any of my apps or digital service, though I am happy and grateful for a very few of them making my life easier by saving me time, in soke cases, and keeping me from having to deal with things moat everyday people would rather not and focus on whats important. Such is the case with Hoxx, their free to use option has been a lifesaver when on my laptop, desktop, etc. Fast, reliable, and best of all, they DONT intrude in your tasks with ads

Excellent. I use it to send video to PS4. Takes a little setting up in the app settings. Can't remember what you click in the settings but the App owner told me how to do it in a previous comment, if you want to search for it.

It was a great app but for last month it has no free server

Worked wonderfully. Now every server is fickle. The speeds are still great but they often disconnect and display the message “device not connected to wifi” even though it is.

The free version is sort of ok. The Android app doesn't appear to have UK servers and the UK servers via the Firefox plugin can't bypass the BBC and Channel 4 VPN detection.

Had this app for several years, it has always worked well just as advertised, highly recommended if you need a vpn for your browser Update 26/06/21 It now seems the only free server is Nederland, maybe its just a glitch which will be rectified soon, lets hope so.

There's a complete free standard subscription and a premium subscription. The free subscription is all I need, but the upgrade does have its benefits.

Easy to use functional VPN client, w/o bothersome advertising. update: it's become quite difficult to connect in 2021. IMHO better to use sth that work on regular basis.

Probably one of the best VPN out there, I use it as a chrome extension and on mobile devices. Android app has fewer to single server limitation but works the same.

I've been using Hoxx free service for two years now and it never failed me (except for bypassing FortiGuard on Windows (system wide), but at least I know now that nothing will work). And now an ad-free android application! This is much appreciated.

I live HOXX Proxy form ages, U use it on all my computers, phones and tablets on firefox installed. But now they removed the FF Mobile extension. But they introduced the complete app that changes phones proxy in evey app and browser. Recommendation: Please bring back Hoxx extension for Firefox Mobile. I miss it and need it. If possible please share standalone setup for FF Monile. Will try to integrate offline.

I have tried so many VPN to run the website which I was unable to access or to some of the software or to some of the gases games which are not available in India but none of them was working and then finally I have installed the hoxx VPN which is amazing as always and I was able to access everywhere anywhere anytime and no one was there to stop me with the hoxx. For me, this is best vpn app with simple visual and Easy to use. But I've just realized that you remove japan server on free server list... Is something wrong? I've always use japan server. Can you bring it back again?

I've been using Hoxx for a long time on windows, now a few days on my phone. Impressively, it works smoothly most of the time and thankfully it's ad free. I'm using it every day and it's just great!

Wow this really amazing and one of the best vpn I recommend for everyone to use. But it have a little problem it stops itself and makes your phone kinda slow. Hope you work on that .

I use it's extension on the computer and app on my mobile. Although, country select has some limitations in the free version. But really great...

this is the most underrated vpn . Even its free service is far better than top paid vpns. After a lot of research I was completely frustrated , then at last I found this one . Don't know why it is so underrated . some so top paid vpns fails in speed but it works even in free version with such a effective speed . proton vpn with a paid version didn't load xvideos but hoxx with a free version do this with such a great flow .no other vpn is providing such a enough data and speed like this gem .
