HPE Network Capture Express

HPE Network Capture Express enables you to measure and record network latency, packet loss, and downstream bandwidth to any addressable domain or IP address. The recorded network conditions simulate the real network conditions during application testing. This enables you to perform more accurate testing and to predict how your application will behave. You can send the recorded network conditions as an email attachment to use with other HPE Network Virtualization products.

Just installed this app, woorks well on my google pixel. I installed this to see loss perventage, All Good ! After the first few days of having this app, it fails to connect to network. Update.. In wifi test, App shows that I have AT&T, I have Spectrum. Or I am misunderstanding something. Running app on smartphone and it has at&t cell service.

I just installed to check my packet loss.. Its working fine but didnt found any loss.. But my internet have a lot of packet loss and poor performance. This app's packet loss detection is very worst.

Running it on an S5. Works very nicely. I've run it a few times now and it shows the varied network conditions perfectly.

Taking a bit to get used to but it still preforms the same function and HP is a good company.

You need to wait. It seems to test download speed first, then latency and packet loss. At least for me it cycled between the two modes. It loses one star from me because I don't have quite enough control over what it is doing (a 30 second option would be nice, and have it just test for packet loss, not download speed). Overall seems decent enough.

as noted by others, the tool is only good as the resulting data set it creates... we will see shortly ... the realtime interface looks good, but i need at least 72 hour data set not individual test runs

Simple way to check your current network connection speeds. Handy for testers or anybody who has geek tendencies and is interested in network performance

After several apps later, I have finally found an app that works perfectly. It finally helped me detect the packet loss in my local network !

No latency or packet loss information provided. Fields show "NA" useless.

I already use this on my iPhone and it works just as well on my Android 4G Thunderbolt! Nice UI, accurate stats and ability to save/export. Quite powerful
