I love the programming... I'm very annoyed when they cut into the middle of a program with a commercial and I lose some of the dialogue.
Great USX. But, it shuts down every other minute, despite how many times I've reloaded it. Major glitch needs to be fixed.

Unlike previous versions of this app, as soon as your screen goes to or powersave, it stop the Stream.
The new app requires 4 steps instead of one with the old one; and I am fed up of hearing Copland 5 times a day
Random stopping and starting bye bye I'll just stream it from a browser

This app will not broadcast radio on my Amazon Fire. Works great on my Samsung phone. Very disappointing.
Keeps pausing and won't keep playing. It's very frustrating
This app constantly stops and starts randomly. I can't walk away from my phone because I have to press play to restart it.
I've installed and uninstalled this app hoping it would solve the problem but it keeps stopping the news stream. I want my public radio but I don't have a radio!
Unless you can explain to my satisfaction why this app needs access to my phone and phone logs, I will not be updating it. Now or ever.
Wish more programs were available 'on demand' but they probably don't own rights. Audio could be better - even on fast connections
Anytime I'm listening to this app, at some point it invariably starts buffering and I lose important news that I was listening to. And then it starts playing and then it starts buffering. I don't know what this bug is but if you're relying on it to get news it won't work
Freezes and shuts down. Wish it worked properly, especially since I'm a supporter of the station.
The app cuts out regularly. I get an error that says "Application could not be loaded" or something, and I have to restart it. Also, what's up with portrait-only mode? It's not like there's a lot to display.
They need more development for this app. It constantly buffers. Do better.
Icon stays at top of home screen after closing the app unless the app's data is cleared in Settings.
It is constantly in "Buffering" mode. Guess I'll stick with iHeart and Slacker
It would be nice of this were wrapped together with the Classical 91.7 app as one Houston Public Media app
Both apps (news & classical) just buffer...no sound. In past, app worked great. Love KUHF. Have sent money to you guys for many years. What's going on?

Hey HPM, just FYI, usually when people say "commercial free" it doesn't mean free as in freedom or free as in free beer. It means without. So you guys can't really claim to be commercial free. Especially when I get a commercial everytime I start the app, pause the app, and also anytime there's a hiccup in my internet connection, in addition to the normal ads on the broadcast every five minutes. This app makes the experience of listening to NPR unpleasant.
