It is possible to use the service outside the Republic of Croatia with limited access to certain content in line with copyright and the HRT license agreements. If certain content is protected, it will not be visible outside the Republic of Croatia. This mainly has to do with the foreign-produced content, while most of the local production of the HRT can be broadcast in all areas.
A network connection is required in order to access content.

Serves it's purpose. Icons are too small since I use it on my phone half the time. It misses some user friendly details that Youtube has (pause/play by pressing anywhere on the screen, on fullscreen goes straight to landscape even when it's not enabled on the phone, can't preview what is on other programs while watching one).
The application is disaster. I just got an update hoping at least some of the bugs from last version will be fixed. I must say that I was not supprised that, once I get the update, old bugs where there, and I discovered a new ones. It is so common for any kind of app that offers some kind of public service. Disaster!
Full of bugs and poor content updating. Few times I wanted to watch a show which was previously played on live tv and it was not possible to play it on the app. Poor customer support. Wanted to send message via customer support messaging but it doesn't work. Good thing it's free but I would rather pay for something good then to watch for free something that's poorely done. I hope you will read this and make ot better.
Unable to start on Samsung 9+. The issue was resolved. The app can start and whilst its on a slower side, it offers a fair amount of shows to see. Unfortunately, some geo-restricted (understandably). Kudos to the service team on quick response.
No TV app, even though the FAQ says otherwise. (Also, it's the year 2020, and you're supporting models 2016-2018?) Casting to a TV doesn't work, because there's no casting option in the app. I tried a 3rd party casting app, but it doesn't work - I keep getting an error in the app whenever I tried to play a video from Videoteka (but it works for live content, even though it still shows an error). Crappy service with far too many bugs and service outages with no signs of improvement. Playback sometimes just stops with an 'error occurred' message, and there's nothing you can do about it. The UI is hardly usable.
It's impossible to use on either tablet or a smatrphone.. Although Wi-Fi signal is at max, and any other site (or data transfer..) is working perfectly - you better get used to pop-up: |Application not responding | Wait | Report | Terminate | .. or constantly watching animated circle rolling on middle of the screen ! Is it a problem on their server or app itself? That I do not know, but 'HRTi' as a Google app - is, in single word - USELESS. :(
It is very disappointing that we can not use our TV to watch the programme from the phone. This has changed in more recent versions of the software. Also being Croats we would expect to be able to see all the programs free to air especially now in COVID19 times.
Since subscription to HRT is mandatory for all Croatian citizens (even if you don't want it or use it) I would expect that this application works flawlessly. It does not. Whenever there is a high demand on a national level for a certain content, it behaves poorly. Connection keeps breaking, video quality drops to a minimum... HRT needs to get their priorities straight and start delivering to their subscribers! The saddest thing is that you can't even cancel the subscription...
Just buffering, not showing the content for hours. Why did they make something like that? Who needs to look blue circle for so long? Closes while having a dialog that phone clock setup should be set to automatic. Suddenly stops.
I've been using the application to cast to my TV for several months now and experienced just minor issues but despite that everything is working as intended.
Application works well, it has large amount of assets in Videostore. Additionally, the app consumes a bit of megabytes, so I watch for few hours
App does nothing. HRT logo appears in the middle of the screen. Nothing else ever happens. No way to login or access anything.
The only app that constantly crashes on my flagship tablet. Also, the only Fire TV app that cannot even start up. Typical Croatian half-product overpaid with public money.
great selection easy intuitive to use maybe 5 days at demand isr what was on program will make us more to use during the weekend. I understand that mean more server power butina this tempo of life love too look some of yohrsprogram o n my free time at Saturday.. Any way thank you on a great work
I like the app but because I'm living in Bosnia I can't watch "Crno bijeli svijet" third and fourth season, and i really love the show and would love to watch third and fourth seasson if its possible, thanks in advance.

Doslovno ništa ne radi u aplikaciji. Ljudi, ne zamarajte se, radije platite za Netflix koji, pretpostavljam, zapravo radi. Izgleda da ću Bitange gledati na YouTubeu, cya, deinstall. Absolutely nothing is working properly in this sorry excuse of an app. I'd advise the general population to avoid it and rather pay for something like Netflix because it actually does its job.
It works well on my Android phone (Xperia XZ1 compact). Sometimes it won't connect with my Sony TV.
Most of the times have problems connecting to tv-box or it suddenly stops.
It started to work now, but it was stuck on loading screen during the broadcast of football match ENG-CRO (Euro 2020).
"Continue watching" on the app level (not just the particular show) would be great.
Very informative what is useful for as, who are live in other countries and in this difficult time. Praud to be Croat
Awful app, login forms are exposed variable names. Crashes constantly.
Looking at similar apps in Croatia that have a paywall HRTi offers far more interesting content for free. Video looks great and does not stutter. What could they do better? Make more movies available, improve UI so that the pause button is not so small, have a 10 second skip back and forward and make it easier to continue watching TV shows with seasons and multiple episodes.
