I had received the new credit card in a seamless process and the experience was really good. Also i was easily able to rest my domestic as well as international limits using the app. Very simple process and customer friendly. Good Job HSBC.
Can you at least give us choice to manage alerts? Every time I logged in, I am receiving both sms and email. I think it is unnecessary for me. Btw simplified login is perfect but lack of many banking features compared to other apps in this segment
Very poorly designed app. Even local banks have better interface. App is very slow to respond. Statement download is itself a big task. No IMPS option available. On top of same HSBC UPI services are down most of times.
Pathetic. My mobile stopped working so I have a new one. Now to use this, it says i need to remove device from app or call phone banking. Phone banking just says I'm not registered for service. Basically now i cant log on to internet banking as well because i dont have app for soft token. App cant be fixed. Worst services design.
How come some bank, who is in business since very long time has no sense of what details needs to be shown in simple credit card app. Worthless app. we should thank you for showing us atleast transaction history. Hope less. Even new banks or private firms have better app than you.
App has vey good UI and is easy to use. It lists all the basic functionalities and is easy to transfer money as well.
Worst app, there is no much option to manage your account. Always need to contact for customer care for small query. No quickly links were we can find useful things like cheque book, ATM pin etc.
App does not open up when there is an update available. And without app I cannot generate login pin to login to desktop portal either. Sometimes it's difficult to update during travelling due to limited connectivity / internet speed, and with the dependency on app to even login, I'm locked out from using my bank account completely. Security features should be to keep fraudulent people at bay and not the account holders themselves.
This is just great!. Now with this latest update when I click on credit card statement option app crashes and close. Why on earth would you ruin a already running application. Update - Issue was resolved after discussing with Customer service executive.
App needs complete ui/ux upgradation, serious intervention required. Multiple issues in functionality. Transactions take time to reflect, esp during weekends. No option to view monthly statement other than downloading it.
I have only credit card relationship with HSBC. But, I am not able to see card status through this app. If there is another way to connect credit card, it is difficult to access.
Every time I try to open the application, it's showing that the service is unavailable. I called on the toll-free number and rectified the problem after two days back to the same problem.
HSBC India Android mobile application has stopped working even I am unable to open it ....it's crashing while opening in Moto G5 plus handset so please help ASAP.... Just note it stopped working since March 2022 ... It may be since last update.
I have been locked out and been trying to reach customer service since 3 days. There is no customer service support even picking the calls.
UPI feature frequently crashes on the App I have lost money on this UPI app. Amount debited but beneficiary did not receive. And despite complaints i have never received money back from hsbc.

This is the worst bank app I have used till now. Not at all user friendly nor the bank people bother to help what a useless bank.
This app is useless as we donthave option to view the statement instead every time we have to download. And have to remove from downloads folder.
The app is very slow. After the main logo appears it just loads. There is no option to go back.
Since 15 days not able to see the card details. Getting error, there was an error problem checking accounts. Very bad experience ever.

Its good app just a note to developers to make available the option to exit the app within app itself earlier by double back press i was able to exit the app but after update i have to force close the app by coming out of the app using home button and then killing the app it no longer supports double back tap to exit. Hope this will be considered:)
lot of clicks are required to complete a transaction. like if I have only 1 account then system asks to select account.
Not displaying my account details and transactions. Latest updates are worst
Useless mobile application. Unable to reset password or PIN ..wastage of time so stopped using hsbc card. The application is not user friendly. Too much security inserted. It is asking frequently to change and reset password. I have closed the card now. I do not have time to waste in engaging with this app all the time
It is just to see amount in the account but is is very slow not fast like other applications. Please imrove it
This app is just basic, it lags, it doesn't send push notifications when there's a change in the account, it's very restrictive (to edit your personal details you need to call the bank?! Then what's the point of a phone app?). There are no options to make investments (stocks, mutual funds), you cannot make payments from the account to pay for utilities for example. It's by far the worst banking app i've ever had to use.
Not at all user friendly. There should be a seperate section where one could see their current statement. Every thing is visible only on a single dashboard and it's very confusing. The Statements are confusing and unclear as well. Unnecessary options are provided but simple important options are not available and are removed as well. So disappointed with HSBC.
It crashes automatically in between when I uses this application. Also GUI part is not as ease which it seems to be. The toggling and functional is also not at ease level usage. Make it more quick run and accessibility more peculiar on page. Work on response time of the application it lags many times which lead to delay in output.
