Also having trouble with Pixel3 but found that if you forget the network every time you restart the drone it'll connect when you connect to it again (you also have to approve the connection with no internet access). I suspect that the issue is that the Pixel3 is constantly trying to connect to other networks that have internet access by default. When I am able to connect the app does work okay. It's not great, just okay. But it's a hassle everytime.

Seems ok until try to share photo or video. Then crashes. Simple, though, to find the photos and videos... My photos (not videos) showed up in the Gallery app and Google Photos app. That was easy. Also, you can manually find the photos and videos in the "HSS2 FPV" folder which sits in the root directory of internal storage. Open that folder and all the captured media are there. Had no trouble connecting to drone's wifi -- is wise to turn off mobile data and stop/start wifi to bring up available networks. Using Note 8. I would've preferred the app use high contrast colors (e.g. black and white) instead of the various shades of gray... makes it hard to see the controls even in a dim lit room, much less in bright sunlight. Duh! Does anybody use their brains when developing this (and many others) software? Aghhh.

For everyone that can't connect the drone to the app, try this. I just found out why it wouldn't connect. In my case if I had WiFi turned on AND Mobile data also turned on, the WiFi signal doesn't come through from the Drone... Once I turned off Mobile Data I started receiving video feed from the drone and the app worked just fine.

Initially couldn't get it to work. Customer service worked with me through several emails until we figured it out. I had antivirus that I had to make allow the wifi connection with the drone. Also have to put my phone on airplane mode while flying to see the video feed. Now app works great. Happy with it now

It worked great with mine! If you have a smart phones and you're wondering why you cant connect you must have the drone on. wait a bit. Connect to the drone wifi (look for Holystone) turn off your mobile data and it should work. There is a little delay with the camera about 0.6 seconds. I would like if you allow it to access media like the other drone apps. The VR mode doesnt look too good for me. The camera is better than most drones I flew! It isn't the best camera but it works best for me!

The drone will connect with the app to show picture and video but It will not fly from the app really disappointed.

Okay so this app you have to turn off your mobile data and turn on your Wi-Fi and connect it to your holy Stone app as long as your mobile data is off the app works perfect but they don't tell you that so to re-update my last comment I'm letting you know you have to turn off the mobile data in order for it to work and then it works fine... I tried every other way and could not get it to work but when I did this it worked... Have fun and try it..it will work. For that I give three stars.

My wife got me the HS110D for Christmas. The app does not connect to the drone on my Pixel 3. The app works fine on my daughter's iPhone. I went online and did some reading and I found a few others with the same issue with Android phones. I get stuck with the turning circle in the middle of the screen.

Worked once on my note 8 and then never would connect ever again. Attempted to use a S7 same error appears to be some sort of wireless authentification error with the drone. The authentification gets locked in (on the drones side)and can't be reset, I'm not a developer but maybe it happens when the app cash gets cleared?

unable to share video and pics. when I click on what I think is the share button, (arrow in top right corner of screen), app immediately stops responding. I uninstalled and then re- installed the app without any change.

Works pretty well, only issue I had was trying to fly the drone from my phone but, to be fair it was literally my first time using the app so I may have just not understood everything correctly perhaps? But overall it's fun and I look forward to using it to fly my drone with my phone too, I have one other issue Idk what happened to your personal wifi signal I selected "stay on" and after I only saw the network 1 time after but not anymore after that so I was worried I lost connection to drone

The app will work at 50/50 chance yes I can fly the drone with out the app but I'd rather use it also the app has a 10 second delay and most of the time the app won't let me load onto the drone even though it has full wifi connection I would trouble shoot the problems and the app won't work still I used the app 10 times five of those times it would not load.

Does not work in current version. Can connect to Drone's wifi network, but no camera feed is sent. Works perfectly on iPhone, but the Android app has been greatly neglected. It's a shame.

It's how you can use the camera on your drone. The picture's amazing, and it makes great videos. Plus it allows you to see way up high in full motion. Living in the boonies, it's fun to see over the trees.

No issues whatsoever with this very easy to use app. It always works and always connects to my Galaxy S10. Like another person said, if it doesn't work for you then you probably don't know how to use it.

I have used this app before and it's great. Just one problem, when I try to use the emergency landing it won't work and then I have to grab it and turn it off just for it to work or close and reopen the app.

This used to work fine on my old HTC One Android but since I've switched to a Razer Phone 2, it just spins when trying to enter my HS110D drone. Phone connects to the WiFi just fine. I just can't enter the device to see the camera.

It works fine on reasonably fast phones but on slow phones the live feed lags a lot but the footage is ok. The UI could use some improvements and the size could be smaller.

POS As far as security. I purchased the HS 720E as i "thought" it would be a great addition to my collection. Its maiden flight was few minutes ago. The winds were calm as the sun was starting to come up. I had it at an altitude of 75m and hovering. I watched it drift. It appeared to be controlled by another controller as i could not get control of it. I just wasted over $300.. Guess i should stick with a real drone company like my DJI or Yuneec. But i guess you get what you pay for

Easy to use, sleek and simple. I have this installed on multiple mobile devices and have never had any issues. People are giving it poor ratings because they don't know how to use it, or they are bad flyers and crashed their drones.

this is a pretty awesome drone. has a lot more features than I had anticipated. has really good control from the radio. video quality is great.

The app works great with my Note 8 phone. Tried it on my TAB A works but, some features apparantly are available.

Version 1.9.8 is not fully functional with the android. There is no camera feed and therefore you cannot fly the drone unless you want to risk losing it. Please fix fir Android asap!

Not had a problem and it works perfectly well with my Holy Stone hs110d. Fantastic app and works all the time and I'm really impressed that it supports android 10

Finally an app that actually does what it claims! Works great with my android A11, only complaint is the camera lag is a little slow.

App works flawlessly and works better then the controller. Just wish it had an automatic landing

Having problems getting the Dron to pair with the cell phone , The app loaded fine but will not pair with the drone? Wify is on still want pair. May have a problem with the drone camera I will let you know if a new camera works.
