HT-6 FastTune
The HT-6 FastTune uses both chromatic and polyphonic tuning. This means you can tune your guitar string by string with the chromatic mode or tune all six strings at once in the polyphonic mode. The HT-6 FastTune app makes it even easier to tune your guitar because it automatically detects what tuning mode you’re using. The HT-6 app seamlessly switches between the two modes without changing the display. The display will show you the tuning status of each string you strum, if that’s just one or even all six. The HT-6 FastTune works like six tuners in one; one for each string.
The HT-6 FastTune app works with acoustic and electric guitars, and bass guitars with up to 6 strings. The app will work using the mic, headphone jack, or 30-pin connector on your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to get the most accurate signal for tuning your guitar.

damn! it works! cool!
at one point I'm sure it had a full screen option but it looks like an update has changed that and also, it needs a feature which will allow it to be 'always on top' . my screensaver kicks in whilst I'm tuning... other apps have the option to ignore screensaver/lockout.. be nice if this could too.

I have the proper foot pedal of this which cost me £79 and this works just as good. Obviously the pedal is better for stage use.
After this recent update it won't recognize the strings , I unistalled and reinstall it but won't work like it was use to , my guitar won't get tune up anymore I hope this problem can be solve soon I really like this app
Downloaded allot of apps for tuning multiple stringed instruments and I now just pick this one. Great app for the size
Love it easy download fast even though my old android grateful guitar tuning and voice tuning easy to see easy to work even for kids. Love it. Great for beginners to also tone the voice to ear while you practice singing and note order and levels.
Was excited to try this polytune-esq app out, was disappointed that I couldn't go lower than 436hz for my reference tone.
Love the app, does everything it says BUT I'm knocking off 2 stars because no matter how many times I force close, HT6 launches again and runs constantly in the background on my E4GT JB. Uninstalling and I'll stick to PolyTune on my iPod Touch. Sorry guys!
It's pretty simple to use. Just a strum on your guitar, will show all you need to know on the app
I'm using it since I've moved from ios to Android after iphone 4s. Used it on several phones, always works fine for me.
I tried using other applications but was finding it a little bit complicated but this is just great
It works great and if you dig into the settings you can increase the sensitivity or switch it to Bass guitar. Wonderful app which is free now, and well worth the small amount of $ they will charge

So fast to use
It looks cool but looks aren't gonna tune my guitar. After comparing it to a real-time analog strobe. I found that it's not very accurate. I've tried most of the android tuner apps and all have varying degrees of inaccuracy. And you can't see how the different harmonics drift after the initial pluck. So while it may be okay for beginner, it's not real useful for an advanced player or intonation set-up. I uninstalled because I won't use this.
Even if this app worked well, it has permissions that are far too intrusive.
Needs to up date! Cords sounds authentic but other than that works fine!
Better if it recognized my open G string and if the app would stay awake without having to touch my screen

cool idea but onerous permissions (why?) and drains battery in the background. avoid. to the developer: sad because this would be easy to clean up an it would be a cool guitar tuner
