HTC Backup
Your phone will back up automatically once a day when connected to Wi-Fi. You can choose to manually back up your phone anytime. HTC Backup saves to your cloud storage account, and your data is protected by your HTC Account sign in.
HTC Backup does not support photos, videos, music or documents, try HTC Transfer Tool instead. HTC Backup can only restore from a backup on phones running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. You can try Google backup in Settings > Backup & reset instead.
Note to AT&T customers upgrading to Sense 6.0 with Android Lollipop:You must uninstall your current version of HTC Backup, then go to Google Play to install the latest version. Without doing this step you will receive the following error "Unknown error code during application install:’504’”

When I bought my newest HTC (the only brand I buy/use) I discovered HTC transfer tool was gone. Devastating, the transfer tool was so incredibly useful & made getting a new phone SO simple & accurate, it was an exact copy and meant using a new phone is a seamless transition. My newest phone I think I used this -I NEVER back up my phone an I absolutely should, and again I SHOULD use this & back up to my old phone but it was such an ordeal getting this phone set up and still not happy.
The best backup and restore app in Android I've ever used. HTC products are well though out and comprehensive. I've yet to ever encounter a bug in any of their apps.
It won't work period , my phone will not uodate , ive lost all my apps . can't make calls , texts , ANYTHING ,NOTHING WILL RETORE OR BACKUP , CANNOT EVEN ACCESS HTC SENSE HOME ITS NOT RESPONDING PLEASE HELP !
Pointless, dysfunctional bloatware. Do no depend on it. God have mercy on their phone if they do.
Bad HTC products like mobile phones it's not support indian VoLTE features it's product not for indians don't buy it, very bad company.

This is essentially a type of spam. My phone won't let delete it. I was able to use the Disable button, BUT! it still keeps trying to update itself!! Again and again!!! I have disabled automatic updates but it still keeps giving me a notification complaining that it wants to update itself. Over and over. Over and over. It just won't give up.
