HTC Fetch
This app is primarily intended to support devices that do not have the native support for HTC Fetch included in HTC Sense. Users with supported HTC devices can already connect to Fetch using the built-in pairing support in Settings > Bluetooth and do not require this app. HTC users should not attempt to connect to the Fetch tag using this app AND the built-in Bluetooth pairing setting at the same time, as it may result in connection issues. Version 1.1 of this app now supports the remote camera shutter feature on HTC devices.

Pro Tip: Remember to long press the action button for 10 seconds on the HTC Fetch tag to reset it before connecting it with a new phone using the HTC Fetch app.

No Up Coming updates
Before last update worked perfectly. Now I can't connect Desire 820. It connects and disconnects. I can't get it to work. And after a while it informes me that it's out of range. So sorry that it doesn't work. I would like to use it. Update: now it works again . Have no idea what changed, maybe few restarts did help. Anyhow now it works and I like it a lot.
Seems it hasn't been updated and in years but my U11 insisted I need it. While it costs works it is very basic and lacks even the ability to select the phone tone to use. I have an alarm set that is quiet and it would be nice to be able to choose one when pressing the fob button. Also the fob supposedly has dropped from 100% to 30% in just 5 days. Perhaps it has But it would be nice to see an update
I got the fetch with an m7 when that first came out. I must have replaced the battery in the fetch at some point but I've only just found it in a box and set up the app; the battery in the fetch shows about 35% and I know it's not been used for at least 4 years! How? I have no idea but just for that the thing deserves 5*.
unable to pair as a standard bluetooth or NFC device, so it cannot be used as a trusted device to keep screen unlocked. app settings are not persistent.
This app seems like an internal proof of concept or beta. Very limited functionality and no options. Camera control is not supported or any custom control. Almost never connects to Bluetooth on my S8.
I simply can't rely on this device working when needed. If the phone hasn't been used for a while, the phone will not respond when to pressing the button on the fetch. Disappointed.
It's a great idea, but sadly it's just too unreliable, giving endless false alarms - not amusing at 2 in the morning! Shame.
I dont know what happened..but i cant used my htc fetch as camera shutter anymore. I used it before with my previous htc's. Please bring back that feature. I need that to my htc 10 😖😖
Finally after what seems like close to eight months you fix the defunct HTC fetch. It's working again! HTC m9.

This was seriously the most pathetic little tracker device. I honestly never thought it was going to be with it but I got it because of novelty purposes of owning and loving HTC products. But the past year I've grown to hate HTC HTC products. The device that is meant to connect to this app drains a brand new battery within a month with no usage. And this app was made by a kindergartner. Totally pathetic. Same as the app for the RE camera.
It's better than the others ,I would like to make some suggestion , in settings to have a way of putting in different sounds for alarm on the phone, make it alarm til you approach it then it will connect automatically.

After upgrade to newest firmware version ( HTC M9 - 2.10.401.1 ) fetch stops working...please - fix that. Device is pairing, but there is no chance to connect to it. Finally, version 1.6 is working FINE! THANX :-)) Brilliant job.
Okay, granted you need time but please work on it xx I really liked the fetch and just miffed that it didn't work one of the few times I turned it on recently
Sounde d great but I don't know how to use it? All I get is a blank screen.
I got my Fetch yesterday and set it up, downloaded the app, all that. Then at just before 2:00 am, and again just after 3:00 am, the tag started beeping at me like an alarm clock. It woke me up (obviously). The first time I just cancelled it, but the second time I went to the app and unchecked the boxes for alerting me when my phone is out of range and back in range. And now clicking the tag doesn't make the phone ring. As this is the whole of the job it's supposed to do, this is not acceptable.

It never connects keeps losing signal at night hours on and off now connected now disconnected even thou I turned the notifications off
