The double tap feature and all other features pertaining to the motion launch aren't working at all. I don't know why, I've got the ones I want checked and updated can we fix this some how? Please
My HTC One M9 overheats, doesn't charge, every ten seconds or less I lose 1%, and when I click/tap on things it doesn't work or I have to wait forever for things to work. Worst apps. Worst phone ever.
My camera is not working. If i Switch on my camera it shows as "Unable to start the camera. I did factory reset teice also it is not working.
My Display & gestures do not work after update in my HTC Desire 828. Motion Launch is under this. I'm running Android 5.1. Please launch an update so that I can use this feature.

I've tried all the trouble shooting tips, and did two factory resets. The double tap to wake gesture is still not working. I'm very upset. This is NOT how a premium flagship shove it's supposed to work. My previous M9 worked flawlessly with motion gestures.
But don't put to sleep while screen is on and this is after the update today and so no different than before and what are you guys going to do about the battery issue in the M9? The battery did not charge to 100% last night and that's why I got a replacement for my M9 in the first place. 😡 I'm getting an itch to call a few lawyers. ðŸ˜
Me and my wife have these stupid phones. Neither phone worked as described. mirror link also garbage worked until update Htc doesnt FIX the issues im never buying products of theirs again. Do not buy m9.going to Samsung
After getting my replacement from Uh oh protection, my most used motion launch gesture (double tap to wake) does not work. The only gesture I really got to work was the camera one. Nothing is covering the proximity sensor, I've calibrated the g-sensor and have even uninstalled and updated this freaking app. I really think the M9 will be my last HTC phone...
(Motion launch gestures are not working. Just the camera shortcut and double tap screen off from lock screen work. Please fix I really find the motion launch gestures very convenient. I just used my Uh-oh replacement phone and now none of the Motion Launch gestures work. This is extremely frustrating
Double tap to wake and any other motion gesture does not work when the screen is off. I received a refurbished phone in the mail and right out of the box these features did not work! These where my favorite features especially the double tap to wake. I'm about ready to switch back to Samsung this is ridiculous.
I received my replacement phone from HTC and had all kinds of weird issues, especially the double tap to wake - which is what I use most. Chatted with their support. Finally got the rom to update manually. Worked until the HTC apps automatically updated. I uninstalled the updates for HTC Dot View, and HTC Sense Home, and disabled automatic updates for those two apps. Restarted the phone. So far so good. Give it a try.
All these features work on my phone ,I'm wondering if they turned on the double tap feature .
Read other reviews with same problem, uninstalled and re-installed. No change. There is no screen protector installed, just a bare phone in my hand. Fixes needed
After last update I added a security pattern but since realised that double-tap or drag-up doesn't always wake-up my phone. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Do I compromise my security or remove a very useful but only semi-working feature!? Please fix asap but this time have it tested properly before release, because releasing a 'bug fix' software patch which is only semi-tested is inexcusable and you may as well not waste our time in loading such releases...
M9 does NOT work with gestures. Didn't before this update and still doesn't. Please fix. Liked that feature on my M 8
I just bought an M9,I know its 2018 now, but the phone was still new in the sealed box. The double tap feature isnt working for me either. Ran all the tests, unselected the feature restarted phone, selected it restarted phone and still doesnt work. Why do you do OS updates it they make the phone worse? I dont have a screen protector on it so I know thats not the issue. I want to go back to 5.1.1 Lollipop OS instead 7.0 Nougat, I know that OS works as it supposed to. Stop making things worse HTC!
