invasive constantly telling me I have to give permission. "Task requires permission," along with disturbing alert sound. Another of HTC forcing an app down your throat to up their profits stop sending alerts only to try and force me to give permission by constantly harassing me. Times to ditch HTC.
Tired of mobile companies saying i have to give permission for pics, gallery, camera, in order for it to work. No i decide what i do on my phone, not you. Intrusive.
Might've been good years ago but redundant now and just bloatware for older phones.
Was supposed to be removed from the play store back in 2017 according to the developer. And yet, according to Allysa Cara, it is still here.

Please don't discontinue as the app is uniquely performing better than any other apps. A must have app to remind for every single task.
Fine you want to discontinue the app but why the hell am I not allowed to uninstall the apps....there taking up space that could be used on me apps that can help with the ones you closed. Please fix this issue
No widgets and no custom(which day of week) repeating option unfortunately
This was useful, but why am I getting prompts to update it since you have discontinued it since February. Would like you to help me uninstall it. Have already installed an alternative, unless you plan to change your mind.
Must agree HTC Give me the ability to remove this from my phone if you're going to just discontinue this.
I like it a lot, useful as a study aid, lists are a great idea, and I like that you can look at your items and see the date at a glance, some task apps don't include that kind of 'view', hope HTC keeps it going! Thanks.
Let us uninstall or disable this if it can't be used.

Why Why don't you just discontinue ALL your Apps.... I have used this Tasks App alot in my other Google accounts on my devices.... I don't want to use other task apps...

Simple, clean and brilliant. It will be missed after being discontinued. For those that want to keep it, you can. For those that wish to uninstall, you can like I just did on my HTC One M9.
Gotta find a replacement and move all my info by the end of February...
As per loads of other users requests do the decent thing and allow the removal of the no longer supported HTC apps.
Seriously you don't have to update also. I'm satisfied on this. Get the new phone without this htc task. Leave this here for us. I still love this app.
OMG what happened to this app I've just informed that this app will be closed down on 28 February 2017 this app had been a must for my HTC so can it don't be closed down..
Boo. Does anyone know how to import the XML backup file from from HTC tasks to Google tasks format? I stupidly saved all my tasks to the phone instead of a profile.
I always thought this was like, analogous to the Windows Task Manager. I never bothered to open it, but was always updating it. Today I decided to see what it was/did. Not sure what it is, but it wasn't what I thought, so I closed it without using it. Now every few hours it is dinging, trying to get me to give it permission to do whatever it actually does. Annoying. No way to shut it down, apparently I awoke a creature that can never die.
