I bought two day tickets for 14 Euro in the evening to activate them the day after. But the tickets were expired in 9 hours after the purchase!!! I feel like a victim. It's such a shame to have this disrupted system in NL.
Paid for a ticket but never received it. Customer service won't give me a refund even after sending them screenshots as proof of the issue. Useless app.
Still unsure how it works. I downloaded this for my day trip to the Hague only to find the tram does not scan either the bar code or QR code the app produces as a "ticket." I got dirty looks from commuters thinking I was a fare evader when in reality I had spent 7 euros for a day pass.

Utter rubbish. Asks for a zip code for credit card payments!!?!. Don't waste your time.
Purchase and activation is fine but my barcode won't scan on busses or trams. Error code every time. I'm using Android. I've only tried it with the tourist day card so far. The driver/conductor lets me ride anyway, but this causes me unnecessary stress.
