Not the worst app for sure, and worked pretty nicely earlier, but after a while it stopped working completely and I don't know why. I tried installing and uninstalling to see if that would work, but that seems to be useless. Edit: I think it fails to open HTML files that store any kind of information in any other file.
Great - just what I want to view Win 10 interactive browser-based ebook on Android exactly as designed and without changes. Not quite but almost perfect. Is there any way to set it to show full page without it reducing or expanding displayed area? The visual effect is that the page is jumping about. Would using page-break whenever there is a gap at the bottom of the page?
The app is Good, but it needs to be improved on interms of navigation, because you will need to go back to the storage, where you have document before you can do other things.
Damn, this app is just what I needed! Even google chrome couldn't read the offline website I had in my phone. This just did it all... starting from the user interface to the file browsing system to the entire functionality....so good!!! 😃
Pretty great! The button for showing the actual code is a nice touch. It’s a pretty great HTML viewer. I was looking for an HTML viewer but instead I found one that actually shows me the code. Ads aren’t that intrusive. I can do my job without ads getting shoved at my face.
Still needs improvement. I couldn't even see my saved web pages let alone viewing it. It's not easy to develop an app but fix the problems. The app is nice anyway. Goodluck!
Nice app but it contains major bugs... and is very uneasy to use... - The app crashes when i try to copy page contents(by long pressing). -Crashes when the 'rate' option is selected. -and using back button in chained html files leads to last page where the app crashed and not before that page.
It is a very comfortable app. But 1star in the rating is missing just because it takes a little longer time to load any file. But the rest it is very good. Ads are also not inappropriate, sometimes they are useful🙂 Thankyou
I congratulate the Developer for whom I gave a one-star rating previously. I wanted this app to DISPLAY LOCALLY-STORED HTML FILES AND IT DOES — in a clean, dark menu. The GRAPHICS DON’T DISPLAY but I’m not sure Android (9) can even do this and will add another star if it’s a simple PATH EDIT on my part: That’s 1 Star. I’m withholding the other star until the Developer introduces a robust TABS MENU for my locally-stored HTML files — my one FEATURE REQUEST. We’re getting close to a 5-Star rating,
It does read Html's though it would be good if theres a feature where i could just one click to get to another file or chapter that i am reading for convenience puposes. Because while reading novel i have to remember the chapter then go to search the next chapter just to read it.
Changing the orientation of your device reloads the file you have open and searching the page doesn't tell you how many results there are or what result you are currently looking at.
In general the app works very well but I paid for "No ads" yet there's a massive ad when you exit. Get rid of it or have a setting to remove it.
Easy to install and use. Seamless transfer of documents. Very pleasant experience. Gets better with age! 5 May 2022
Well I do think it's one of the best if not the best, when it comes to opening files in the form of HTML. I had a lot of apps downloaded over the past few weeks but non was performing the task required.
Does what it's supposed to do without any frills. It has opened raw html files that couldn't get to open any other way. Handy when trying to view html files such so manuals.
Why can't someone code an html/mht viewer that will appear in the android app context menu that appears when I touch the file in the android file manager? I don't want to open a separate app the browse to folder and find the html/mht file I want to view. I want to just launch it into a viewer from whatever app I happen to see it listed. What I really want is for the default browser to just open html/mht files like they do it does in Windows.
Awesome App! Opened and viewed my MHTML file right away! Thanks! (I was struggling for an hour with all kinds of apps that after you install, they ask you to install more apps or they force you to get a "free trial period").
First impression matters: I just installed the app and instantly i was able to open and read all the web pages I have in my SD card. I think it deserves five cool stars but let me study it for the next few weeks and then decide. For now I give you 4 bright stars.
html reader app will refresh the page where the passcode is required. But theres no other way to retrieve it, I cannot open two windows simultaneously.
Works great to review websites stored on your phone. You do have to be careful with its ability to localize your external links.
God them amount of ads even for a free app is staggering. Open app, ad. Load one file, ad. Close file, ad. Exit app, ad.
was looking for the best html reader online for many days...downloaded many apps and they were worth less.....then i come across this app which is only like 3MBs and did exactly what i was looking for....thank you guys...best html reader.
Love this app. I download a lot of crochet patterns that don't have a pdf. This allows me to see the pattern and complete my work.
Its user friendly, It saves me from excessive writing. I can easily save vital data that I need to use for later, I like this app.
Opens the page zoomed in. I'd expect the page to match the screen size. Rotating device reloads the page which is unacceptable.
Like this for opening htm and html with JS but cannot open an embedded pdf file. At least allow it to open Adobe or any viewer.
Unusable due to the absurd amount of ads, couldn't even open a single file.
This app is soo exciting with good searching features and then you can open any documents
Great app. Does just about everything I want. A great feature I didn't think I would be able to find is opening the same page you had open last. The reason I rated 4 out of 5 stars is because the dark mode setting always starts on system and I like my phone on dark mode. Dark mode makes the site I'm using to be unreadable. If it remembered that setting it would be perfect. This app is definitely what you're looking for if you want to browse a website you've downloaded or made.
