But does some stupid things and has some glaring omissions. IE zooms in stupidly when you want to select text or code so you cannot orient your page view. Is good for viewing only and very limited. UPDATE : Some apologies for my previous review I realise now this is only a viewer and NOT an editor

It can't format anything, it just gives you a dump of text source code. I need an app that will help me debug my website because it is doing something different in mobile than it does on desktop so I can't debug on desktop. And it retrieves desktop version on website instead of mobile version. Should have an option to get both like most browsers do.

I can view source in chrome mobile by prefixing a URL with view-source: , so I don't need an app to do that. What I need is the ability to search by xpath and CSS selectors - which for some reason chrome mobile doesn't have. And neither does any android app, including this one. Which just boggles the mind. Also, could use a UX refresh.

Very pleased and works great. I specifically like that it needs no special permissions. Now the suggestion. In my profession I sometimes look at the rendered page and then the code. While I don't expect a working browser, it would be nice for the APP to remember the code in my last view so if I bounce from browser or preview within the APP back to source it doesn't refresh the code each time.

The app can work like a single-tab browser, but when you browse and slide to the source-code tab, it doesn't show the source code of the current page (which it should) but instead the source code of the original page (the page that you type the URL). With that function, this app would be perfect for 5 stars

I definitely dig the features available, especially the line numbers and search, but I had to kill the app and restart to access a different url. Should have an address bar component, not to mention the already mentioned need to copy to clipboard.

Very nice , cool interface, coloured text but missed the copy feature. Add it and it will be the perfect app

Very nice, beautiful, simple. Does not only show HTML well formatted, but also source files and preview. Unfortunately search does not work. And source URL cannot be changed, and no copying ... Still great to quickly check a page.

Cute, but not very useful. In searching for apps I grab a bunch and keep the most useful. VT View Source copies, prints, parses better, and integrates into the browser "share" option. This app is a nice result of somebody learning to make an app, but not of much use to the end user.

Clearly colour coded and wrapped text. Similar to Nptepad++ in appearance. Simply enter url to reveal code and swipe along to reveal webpage.

Just what I needed. A better looking interface and some additional functions would help but overall very nice.

Preview shows me the page but the source shows a page not found source. Waste of 10 minutes of my life i will never get back

I either retrieve forbidden text (from publicly accessible pages) or it crashes.

The top two hits didn't have a function I needed, namely, be able to see source even on local network servers (e.g. not www). Colored interface is clear for reading too. Good app!

cannot copy HTML source code, cannot display non-unicode web page according to the meta data in the HTML.

This app does just what it says. Lets you view the website. No ads, no banners, and very simple to use. Thanks for the app

Simple. Works. However it's missing the option to open files locally. Not gonna take a star for that, but nevertheless, it is an unfortunate limitation.

The selection of the code is very heavy. Add also a way to save the viewed code and the page.

On the first URL I tried put in, it wouldn't give me any source code and instead gave me an error message stating that I appeared to be a bot. I'll have to find another app for source code.

Works great, Ive seen no flaws, and is worth 5 star. But I have not found a way to easily copy or select portions of the code, which is why I needed this app. I hope it will be added in the future

Loads fast and breaks down every property by color.

I have a wordpress site and this app will only show the log in page. After i log in from previw tap and then refresh the source tab still shows login page while preview loads backend page... this bug should be fixed

It claimed to retrieve the info and it quickly presents the results in an attractive form. So of course I will give it its five stars !
