HttpCanary — HTTP Sniffer/Capture/Analysis

I think this app may have a security issue in it. This is the only 3rd party app installed on a test device that had specific test credentials installed. A few weeks after using this, those credentials were being used from Russia and China and they have not been in use anywhere else other than this device. Can't say for certain, but user beware.

Bug seems to be fixed. I like the fact that response status code is visible from the list so you don't have to enter each and every capture to see status. Injection works great. Good job and "bonne continuation".👍 Thanks for adding option to use alternate DNS.

UNINSTALLED IT There is a bug after the trial period has ended. So the bug is the application always asks the users to keep installing the Certificate for SSL/HTTPS Packet Scanning. After installing it, the certificate will always disappear when starting the scanner and it always happens repeatly.. Please fix it... I have this application before on Oppo A37f, OS Lollipop...

Cannot get it to work on rooted Android 11 on a Google Pixel 4 XL (Coral). Despite the problems others have run into, I found the certs in /data/user/0/com.guoshi.httpcanary.premium/cache (.p12 cert pass is "HttpCanary") and I installed them as both system and user certs to no avail, across multiple restarts and different little tweaks. The system CA manager recognizes them as valid, so this *should* work. Pretty lame :'(

Bought the app, was looking for charlesproxy with rewrite (injection). Got it running for few times only then rest wont work. What i mean wont work is when turn on, no data capture and the app client responsed timeout. VPN wont pass-through traffic. Im on 10,s20, tried everything (firefox with cert installed, my own app with cert,etc...) client wont get internet passthrough...please test throughly on OS10. Will try again in few days with premium. Hope you can fix it.

Works like a charm! Just a minor not-so-critical request - please add a search button to dig through the request/response tabs. I'm mostly goimg through big JSON contents and finding keyword will make the experience a lot easier. Thank you so much! God bless you all :-)

A very useful app for development and debugging. Only issue noticed is that sometimes the captures list refreshes when you switch back to the app losing your position in the list. Otherwise great 👍

App is good, worked well on Android 9 with the built-in Parallel Space method... But in case of Android 10, the app can't detect SSL connections, even with root, with or without Parallel Space, or any other method... Please look into Android 10 issue.

Wow. It is so good! I already reverse engineered one app with use of HttpCanary. It has everything I need and is intuitive. I was suprised with all those small nice features like Remark, cUrl sharing, Whitelisting, JSON beautifier. I would never expected this class of software can operate on Android so beautifully. Thank you!

Tried it for 15 minutes, didn't get it to work with all the apps. all the calls are exceptions with cause unknown and also unknown solution.

Seems like it works (with chrome), couldn't get it to work with plants vs zombies 2 (I have root). Also tried it with parallel, which I promptly uninstalled. Why is parallel taking to Facebook without my permission? Interesting...

Its good but all documentation should be downloadable and instructions on quick notes to help a person behind a comapny firewall with no privliiages and on a unrooted device justblooking to use ur software would be nice. thanks 5 stars

Amazing app. However no longer works in android 11. The CA certificate is not installable without rooting the device. This rating is obviously intended to get the developer's attention so that the issue can be fixed.

Great app! Only few things i would like to suggest to make this app more awesome. 1. Please add a feature for saving multiple requests with select all option. 2. If possible please devise a way to import these requests to burp suite (this is most import feature).

Works great for my use case (mobile equivalent to chrome network activity tab), but it doesn't uninstall its root certificate when the app is uninstalled, and the UI doesn't make it clear that the cert needs to be manually removed.

I used to use it well, but recently when I open this app, it returns an error below. Unable to connect to License Server. Please keep the network open and try again! Even though the network is fine. I uninstalled it and re-installed again, but it's the same.

The best network capturing app AFAIK. but some apps are not working when activating this app. I don't trust parallel space as it require alot of permissions, quite spooky

Wonderful app, but I can't find premium version anywhere (I bought it). This already happened once, but now I really can't find it on Google play. Please guoshi help. I feel awful giving this rating to this wonderful and amazing and lovely app. I love this app from the deepest of my hearth, but I can't use it without premium. I bought premium in March 2020.please help Edit:I found the app! 😊

it works well. however it also defeats my purpose. HttpCanary sends about 1.6kb data to qq, which is China. I dont suppose most people want their sniffer to silently sends additional data to the government of china.

Please fix android 11 CA certificate, no option to export the certificate to manually install it in non rooted devices , otherwise the app is pretty useful and i will definitely change to 5 stars after that issue is fixed

Dope app best at snipping even when blocked after few attempts to snipp you get your job done...coping all the links you need once would be great as other developer block snipping on they app at times you only got one shot..so multiply link copying would be supeb

If i have ten links if I want to copy it at a single time there is no option. Only single link will be copy as text Need to improve in next Update Hope Developer will understand What I want to say And If i select all and save it. I have to open every single file to get link. Next time make it copy option within the app

Most of the apps ssl data was captured well. But also some apps didnt handshake well. Cannot worked with httpcanary.. I used this app with root for move certificate to system.

it is now the best url sniffer app for android, better than the former best app debug proxy. thanks sir for creating this useful app, please keep it working as it is right now - no need to improve & update more... i rated 5* --> debug proxy is not working now.

Best Packet Capture apk out there. Managed to capture all the info I needed without root. Parallel space is a must.

it's perfect but at last update it is capture every connection even upd & tcp is there any way to capture only http & https I am not a pro user so forgive me if I missed something

One of the best network interceptor on playstore. Those who are facing password issues please set a lock screen password/pin and you will be fine. Those who are facing no internet issue in most cases you are above Marshmallow so you need to root your phone to intercept or use below Nougat phone

I noticed some issues like not getting response from server in apps while sniffer is running. Otherwise its a good app.
