Hub Family Calendar Organizer

Overall the app is great. The few issues we have had, along with the yearly subscription, is why I gave it three stars. The app stopped notifying the others with the app when an event was changed, deleted.Etc. When creating a new event it doesnt provide near as many options until you set the event, exit the event, THEN go to edit. After that you can change notification timing, reminders, who is part of it, etc. Minor annoyances that I'd expect from a free app.

Just installed, added one family member on install. Subsequently I can add a task, add a note. If i try to open calendar the app instantly closes. There are no settings available other than notifications. On install I chose to use my main gmail calendar address. There is no obvious way to switch to a different calendar, like Outlook, to see if it is a Calendar access issue. Simple is good but this is both ridiculous and frustrating. Off to find something else.

I used to LOVE this app - it helped keep my family organized and kept everything in one place (lists, appointments, etc.).. Not sure what happened but the quality went way downhill. When I pull up the calendar none of my events show up until I toggle back and forth between the months. Actually missed or was late to some things (and I paid for this app!). It's been awful. Switched to Family Wall after evaluating other app.

We have the upgraded version of this app – and despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app several times in the last week, I am getting the following problems * I cant sync, or display and other calendars……….selecting any other calendars, either in the setup stage, or afterwards through settings, the whole app crashes and wont even open. The only option then is to uninstall and reinstall the app and start again. * I can no longer see entries entered by other users in the HUB. This didn’t used to be a problem – and is kinda the purpose of the whole thing. I don’t need yet ANOTHER calendar app to simply see my own calendar entries – I need to see what the others in my HUB are doing.

I really loved this app before the overhaul, but now the sheer amount of glitches is driving us all crazy! Disappearing events, events not deleting properly, reaccuring events changing end times on their own, on and on! How long is it going to take you to fix this? If it's not soon, we'll have to look for a different platform!

I like what the HUB attempts to do however, often when I open the calandar all of our saved events don't show. I have to toggle between months to get them all to appear. Also, when I add events, it shows on my HUB not my wife's, which is the point of a shared calendar. It's actually been worse since HUB switched over to new server or whatever that major change in May 2019 was.

This app was great until they did all the "upgrades". When it came back, it required paid upgrade and once they fixed that, no refunds. Then it require clicking back and forth between months before you could see what was on your calendar. Now it doesn't run at all. Deleted app, reinstalled, still won't run at all.

**** Update Aug 20-2019 **** I was missing calendar entries and they sent me back an email that they were having server issues again. I'm done. I canceled my subscription and I'll figure out something else to use. It's a shame. It was a great product at one point. **** Update 8-15-2019 **** Credit where credit is due ... They have just updated this app and now it works again on my phone without crashing. It's a shame it took so long. ****Original Post **** Please do not buy or load this app. It was working wonderfully before the upgrade. After the "upgrade" I have not been able to access the app from my phone. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and clearing out the cache. I contacted support and they said they are having difficulties and to have patience. It's been just about two weeks since I reported it with no additional contact on a solution. My patience has run out for an app I need to pay for. Look for a different app!

I like this app a lot, it has helped my fiance and I stay organized, which isn't easy with 2 special needs kiddos. I do have one complaint, being that the calendar sync doesnt seem to work, which actually makes it far less efficient than it could be, unfortunately. Sad face!!!!

The new update is the worst!! I hate the app now. It is beyond frustrating! The week starts on a Monday, changed from Sunday. You can't see new entries after you post them. It takes more steps to even add and entry too AND I'm paying for this!?! They still haven't fixed the problems. it logged me out again sporadically, still can't see the events on the next month. We are done being frustrated. Found a new app to switch to for our family.

piece of garbage app. unable to log in, go to reset my password and it tells me it is unable to send me the email to reset my password and asks if im connected to the internet when i am both connected to a 1 gigabit wifi, and when i have 5 4g LTE bars with unlimited data and the app has permission to use as much data as it wants and all other permissions are correctly set. website is just as freaking useless because it has nowhere for you to sign in or recover an account. trash.

The new update has ruined this app. I can't select more than one calendar and the settings section has disappeared. Very disappointing considering I've been relying on it for all of my appointments etc. I hope they fix it soon. 5-8-19 The new update keeps crashing on startup. Please fix 🙏🙏🙏

we used to love this app. since "upgrade" we don't like the new interface at all. we were considering canceling before new problems. now the app crashes constantly and we cannot login to cancel. their web site says go to google play store to manage subscription, cannot find anywhere to do that. completely useless now, would not buy again.

The recent update is THE WORST!!!! Takes forever for the events in the calendar to show up. It's awful and can't wait to get rid of it. The new update also changed the calendar to start on Monday rather then Sunday and its very strange. there is no setting to change it.

Just a shame! We have been using Hub for more than 3 years. In the last few months we encountered several bugs which made this product completely worthless for us. Mainly our events not showing up on the calendar. We will not continue our membership, and we will no longer use Hub. Learn to support and write apps...

The new update is awful. I've been relying on this app for years and never had any issues. Ever since the new update, it prompts me to choose which calendar to sync to each time I open it, it lags, it's dysfunctional.

It used to be nice and practical app. Unfortunately the latest version is not. E.g. a family have shopping list. In previous version it was easy to go to past purrchased items and by simple click to put them back to list for upcomming shopping. NOW: Yes you can clik on this bud app is moving you to open items after each click, groups the past items and list by default how the items were created not alphabetically as you set = to prepare list for shopping e.g with 50 items its a nightmare!!!!!

This app is wonderful for cross platform coordination of calendars. The recent update needs some refinements - it's slow to respond to selections; calendar settings are not saved; cannot add additional family members; and it has frozen both our iPhone and Android phone for some time.

Latest update is a disaster. Can't even open it as an app, have to reset password via website to access it each time. And when finally get into it I get a list of calendar events from 2015. User experience is now awful, family subscription will be cancelled. Avoid till it's fixed

update was a bad idea. wife's iPhone no longer working with this app. never had an issue prior to this recent update. once update happened then everything stopped working. lost events in the calendar. app freezes. don't use.

unbelievably awful! worked splendidly, syncing calendars, sharing lists... now...it crashes each time I try to open it. Keep having to reinstall. Why did the upgrade make it a downgrade?? I paid for premium...and just extremely dissatisfied

updated app and now appointments wont sync they will spontaneously disappear and reappear on their own. makes everyone connected miss important dates and appointments. I'm paying monthly for the upgraded service but will cancel if they dont fix this issue and fix is FAST

It's a pretty good app....but we realized after paying for it for our family that they want a payment from every account using the app so for our family it would cost....$350 to keep using the app....or just go back to the app we were using before. I guess if your family/group only has one person adding stuff to the calender then it may work for you for $50, but it didn't last us long before it locked us out again.

New update is a TAD bit faster but now no events are showing up. My team lost all their appts and enrollments and cannot function at all. Update is horrible. Supposed to be better but nothings changed and now is not even functional. Lost so much business this week because of the new update I'm canceling the whole thing if this isn't fixed soon.

Upgrade is horrible. The calendar is M-S instead of S-S, so all of my dates are off now. It is very slow to react to your choices. The password reset doesn't work. And when you email cust service, you get the answer of that they are working on it. This update was not ready to live to the public yet, you have now messed up everyone's calendars. I am looking into other options for my family and will be asking for a refund since I just renewed for the year, even though the app is asking me to pay.

I don't know why so much negative reviews. We are using the app for years to organize our grocery and todo lists, and it works perfect. My phone is Android and My wife has iOS. I invite my relatives and friends to use it but unfortunately they are not good at English. Please support the Arabic language. Hint to the developers: Translating the app to other languages doesn't require too much efforts, but you will get millions of users.
