Hubdoc

I've tried multiple times over the last three weeks and I can't even log into this app. I've changed my password and can log in on the browser just fine every time but the app has not once worked for me. Just repeatedly tells me my login info is wrong and I've checked and triple checked each time I've tried. Worthless app. Don't bother.

Pretty much all of the web version features are missing. I need to check sync settings and publish to Xero. The only thing I can do in this app is view an invoice, which is sent to me by email anyway, so pretty useless for my use case :/ The interface is unappealing and unintuitive. I would use a mobile web version if that was functional, but the mobile version also lacks every full web version feature. For example, when I click an invoice, nothing happens. I can't see the content.

I keep getting a pop-up about cookies and it's driving me crazy. I click accept and every time I click on something new it pops up, even if I've accepted several of times. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!! Also when taking photos of receipts it won't auto focus for document photo. So the picture looks aweful each time. OneDrive is best as it has a document photo option and converts it to PDF. Much improvement needed.

While this works decent as a file repository on the desktop version this Android app is virtually worthless. I tried uploading a picture...failed. It doesn't let you upload any files from the file system. You cannot download or email any file from it on the android app. Thus it serves absolutely no purpose. If I need to email a copy of an invoice, receipt or document that's been uploaded it can't do it. While its associated with Xero, which is great, this app is terrible.

Ok but needs some basic features. As an accountant who manages my clients' bookkeeping, it would be great if after a photo of a receipt is taken by the client, the client is then prompted to add a description of what the expense relates to (e.g. Petrol for personal car). The ability to add this description would make it a lot easier for me to process transactions without having to go back to the client. Also, app is painfully slow to open (e.g. 1 minute to open) - this needs to be fixed ASAP.

EDIT - Consistently bad results from this app that I need to drop another star off it. If my book keeper wasn't pushing me to use this hunk of junk I'd have left long ago. Let's try once more and see if the persistent bugs can be rectified by a reinstall. I'm gobsmacked that the app doesn't detect and switch to landscape view when I have a keyboard attachment. What kind of half-baked app developer are you to miss out such basic functionality for a business oriented app? Useless!

Occasionally loads and works ok. But mostly just get a turning wheel and nothing happens. Just hangs till i shut it. This might happen 10 times and then 11th opens and works fine.Samsung S7 Android. Causing me a huge amount of pain as the rest of the business is on iphones. Can't photograph receipts except occasionally. Wastes time i dont have. Basically a uses more time than it saves for me and I struggle to recommended it, even though on the occasion it works it's clunky, but fine.

What a waste of time. I just don't see the point. Over thought out software. That is a waste of time. The amount of time you need to take on the whole hubdoc. You may as well just manually input. Honestly come sit with me on xero. I will show you the way. We have done the uninstall on the app, and xero...think the feedback says enough. What you need is an app that scans automatically links to your software, inputs the data just by a click of a button.

App works to take a picture of a receipt or invoice, etc, but is way too basic and in need of additional features. How about the ability to add information about the receipt or invoice? Also it would be nice to be able to upload not just pictures from the camera, but also from the gallery and the ability to upload saved documents from your phone, not just photos

No stars if it were an option. As others have found, I can't log in either on the app or via desktop browsers, there is a severe fault. Hubdoc / Xero support equally useless. It is a pricey business service so I will look to move.

Please, please fix broken UI elements (slow performance, inability to name a new folder etc) and allow invoices to be uploaded on the Android app, as is possible on the iOS version . Given far more people use Android devices, I don't know why there's such a big difference in function and user experience.

I tried this months ago. Had a bug. Checked today. Still the same bug When you sign in the app, it gets stuck at 2 factor authentication which is mandatory. When putting the 2 factor code in. It never accepts it. I used Google authenticator, 1 password. Nothing worked. It just doesn't accept the code. So it's unusable because it won't set accept the 2 factor code and won't let you proceed. Using the web version only now.

Still RUBBISH! After a year of uding it. Not good AT ALL. No ability to combine long reciepts - slow on startup - that's if it ACTUALLY opens. Overall, the APP is absolute rubbish - avoid at all cost. Shame can't give minus stars. Seems too they choose not to look at their reviews which go back over a year with complaints about how bad it is.

Rubbish. Tried 3 times to allow via Xero, access denied, you don't have permission to access blah on this server. Error looks like an internal web server error. Don't have time to waste on this. Next.

How many times do I need to authenticate before I can use the app? We had Receipt Bank and all I needed to do is to take a picture of my tax claims, it doesn't connect to Xero, try signing in and it needs QR code to be scan that is on my screen, you can show me how that magic, the one time that it signed in I can't even send an email receipt to it, because it's rejecting Hotmail? Layout and UI are also barely usable, Totally bonkers!

Not fit for pupose. Too basic. No way to add a description. Using tags instead however after assigning a tag there is no option to mark the document as done. 'Done' being the stage between field user adding info to receipt or invoice and the accounts person coding and publishing to Xero. Xero subscription now includes Hubdoc, for a higher fee, but lacks the functionality to make it worthwhile. Not happy.

My accountant pushed this app on me. I've been using it for over 6 months daily. IT'S JUNK. Incredibly slow to load. It's a clunky poorly designed app. I've got so many gripes with this app that there's too many issues to list here. I was hoping that would be rectified over time but they haven't. I will be telling my accountant that I'm not willing to use this app any longer. Sorry hubdoc you have lost a customer.

Why, for such a large app, can you not select multiple items from your phone at once to upload? I have to upload to my computer then transfer to Hubdoc on the web. And why can't I add or edit the details on the app, or make a note as to what an item was for my bookkeeper to see? I shoukd be able to do all this from the app, not just snapping photos and uploading one image/document existing already at a time....

I just signed up via Chrome on my windows device ... and when I click on Mobile App it takes me straight to the iCrap iTunes store - Why would you make that assumption? That is so bizarre. Rest of the app is ok-ish. But then it forces you to install either Google Authenticator or something called 1Password. Not happening, I do not need any more app bloat thank you. Promptly uninstalled.

App has great potential. Just wish the help files kept up with changes to the application. You will waste an awful amount of your time by using the help files then discovering they are no longer relevant

One word - Junk! The app allows you to take a picture of a document but does not allow to input notes. Well done Hubdock team! Very logical! To overcame the issue account departments just need to learn to read minds...

On the one or two occasions I was able to login, the app seemed to work well. Unfortunately hit and miss login issues make it the most annoying app I've ever used.

Doesn't work! Twice I've tried to download and login on laptop etc, laptop works but the app just doesn't!!!! Opens, gives me company, click on company goes away comes back to exact same page!!!!

Almost pointless functionality. Only allows for uploading of invoices. Dext app is much better. Hubdoc app should allow the similar functionality of the website when it comes to processing invoices (select contact, process to xero etc.)

Unable to log in, tried a password reset, recieve no email. Password reset only works through web. Account suspended for 24 hours from more than 2 login attempts. I have been using their website but it displays horribly on my samsung device. I've given up on this app.

I got hit with the same bug that others have reported on their reviews on this app, but have managed to find a solution which I've issued below. Now that it is up and running, it's quick and easy and seamless to use: 1. Ensure you have the Xero mobile app installed and logged in on your phone 2. Log in to Xero desktop 3. Log in to Hubdoc desktop 4. Attempt to log in to the Hubdoc mobile app (which will fail) 5. On the Hubdoc desktop dashboard click on 'Use Mobile App', a new tab will appear taking you to either the Apple app store or Google play. Close the window when it appears 6. Close the Hubdoc mobile app 7. Sign out of Hubdoc desktop 8. Sign out of Xero desktop 9. Log back in to Xero desktop first, then Hubdoc desktop 10. Attempt to log back in to the Hubdoc mobile app, which was successful for me Please note that I have described what process worked for me, and won't know the answers to any other technicalities.

I like that this app is easy to use and upload receipts and invoices but as a busy parent and business owner I would really appreciate the ability to code invoices on the go from my mobile phone. Lost opportunity to only have such a basic app. Please look at developing coding functionality into the app or maybe a separate admin app? Or at the very least allowing a Web based login to hubdoc from Android and OIS.

Seriously basic, I live in a remote area and internet is spotty, the app doesn't open at all unless it can connect to the internet. Also, crashes, why so many crashes?
