I can not enter the destination. When I enter the right address, it says address not found. Always.
On hud mod navigation it just show the your route. It not display associated roads. In 4 way junction if you want to go left it shows only left turn. No other roads in juncrion. 4way juncrion its ok but more than 4 roada its quite difficult to choose correct road. Same in roundanout. If it can show junction view and associated roads very easy to understand.
Look I want this app to be great this idea is absolutely genius. My HUDWAY Glass came in today and so far I like it, the only problem is the app won't let u start a destination. I push start route and it turns to where the navigation is supposed to be but instead it decided to say enter in route. When I did five seconds ago so I go back and do it again. And to no surprise it says the same thing again. To I close the app and restart my phone and try it again. Guess what happen. "Please enter a route"
The apps that came along with my kickstarter work just fine. However, the apps can definitely be improved with a better UI and better transitioning between inputting the address and starting you drive. Would love to see an integration from all 3 apps provided by the promo code instead downloading all 3 separately.
This app has such great ideas but it's horrible at the same time. 1. It can't search places, only addresses! Seriously? What happens when you get lost? which is the purpose people have navigation? 2. You can't flip the screen (I don't mean HUD mode, I mean the whole screen so the phone can be the other way). 3. You can't save maps offline, only routes, so you have to be absolutely sure where you're going before you leave and make sure to save all the routes. That's no way to live in 2016 with smartphones.
The app defines a round about as sequence of turns. And constantly annoys you by announcing light turns even after i switched it off. When i entered my street where my house is it said i have arrived where as i still had about 200 meters to go
works good with hudway glass but I found the HUD mode activation quite confusing. I also don't like the create route function as I was hoping the experience to be more like waze/Google maps
Living internationally, I use Google maps daily and for everything. I thought since it was based on Google maps that it would work similarly on the HUD app, but boy, I was wrong. Cannot even find places when search. Horrible routes. Just a waste and sad part is that I bought two HUD glasses! Disappointed is an understatement!
Just got my hudway glass and the quality is superb. And together with the app it will make my driving so much safer...
Downloaded the app after seeing the Kickstarter, have never been disappointed about an app this much. It takes FOREVER to route. It's weird that ALL HUD apps have ratings below 4.
Please make sure it can work along with the offline Google maps, if not it makes this app useless
I really enjoy this! Extremely helpful, efficient and cool but it would be really great to have more offline options. Like downloading a part of the map to use it offline. Not just store single routes offline. But overall extremely nice tool.
Backed the kick-starter, have the pro app. No way to change to landscape that I can find, rendering glass useless.
This is an awesome app. It's very precise and I like the detailed turn information. I would recommend this to any friends

I see double/blurry image due to the windshield thickness, it gets annoying, if I could only have a sharp image.... this would be 5 stars.
Been using this app a while now had no problem's apart from losing internet annoying. But that's not the apps fault. Love my headup display. Great product thanks hudway A*
After latest update the UI is not so good. Previous one was very nice.
The worst! The navigation is EXTREMELY clunky. There are icons... what do they do? I don't know. There are no labels. I entered my route 12 times, it asked me if I want to save the route I tapped yes every time. It didn't save. It stopped navigating and it told me I didn't enter a route. So, I entered it again... and again... and again. Still wouldn't navigate for me. What a monumental waste of money.
Completely useless free version. Only paid version offers HUD. Forces you to enter route.
Returning customer here, had this app a few years ago and thought it was genius but clunky. Now that im back its still cluncky, the UI has gotten so much worse, the map looks like a low quality jpeg and the saddest part in the world was a redesign of the heads up display. I think with a heads up display less is more.
