Works pretty well on my SHIELD TV watching emby. Only thing is it crashes when I use it with UHD (2160p) video. Maybe a datatype overflow somewhere with the larger pixel count? Love to see a fix, I tend to get 4k for the sorts of movies where this would shine.
Very good app with decent response time, as others have said it would be good to have an option for both sides of screen to be enabled when using several lights. App can dropout sometimes but it's the best one out there at the minute
It looks promising, but the APP keeps crashing everttime i watch a movie. Further no settings available yet. Keep developing this app, it can be awesome!
Brilliant! I would give a 5 if intensity can be manually selected, I just need a hint of the colour, not completely green red in my room.
Great app! Had to sideload to my Sheild tv but it works pretty good. Hope the developer makes an Android tv version and adds some options
I think it's abgreat app but hangs everytime I switch it on and I've to redownload it to fix the issue.
The DEVELOPER needs to make an update for this app because now all the sudden it doesn't connect to my hub it says there's no hub detected and there clearly is
Side loaded this onto shield TV. Probably best response time on the Market right now. However, please introduce a selection of areas - for lamps either side of the TV, I would like those to reflect the colours of the sides of the TV they are closest to. Also, if possible a smoother transition of colour, it can strobe somewhat on multicolour frames. Great app overall!!
I really ran this app through its paces, casting my screen to my TV and playing colourful fractal videos on YouTube, it didn't skip a beat even when I played the video at double speed! Absolutely brilliant, my flat was like a mini disco while I tested this app and I loved it. If you want to improve it you could allow the user to allocate a bulb to a side of the screen and sample the average from that section but it works really well how it is right now. Very impressed
This is very cool. Installed it to my nvidia shield remote through the play store website. Would love to see brightness range controls
Works quite well installed on shield tv. I wish you could adjust the transition time as the rapid light changes can be distracting.
Really wanted to use this with my Shield, but it didn't recognise the embedded bridge into the echo plus and hence cannot use it :(
Works very well on the Nvidia Shield. Was able to install without side loading. Also works with Plex. Would be neat if you could assign lights to zones, like top, bottom, middle, left, right. Lights assigned to each zone would be the dominate color of that zone. I would also be cool to be able to assign brightness ranges for enabled lights, so screen brightness could be used as well withing the set ranges.
A promising start but there's room for improvement, this is the best colour matching app around at the moment. Perfect for android TV boxes and works well with IPTV, YouTube, and Kodi. I would like to see configuration options for the position of each bulb or compatibility with hue entertainment.
Great work, but I'm rating it 3 stars because when playing HDR content on Plex on the SHIELD the app crashes unfortunately
I really like the app, but I would love it even more if you could add support for Sony brava TVs,now that would be absolutely fantastic. I would even don't mind paying for it.
Great app! Shows lots of promise. As mentioned by others, zoning of the edges of screen with associated lights would be awesome. Keep up the good work! 😎
Flipping rocks, installed in under a minute on my fire TV,thank you, wanted one like this for ages.
Work on twitch perfectly. Not working on VLC or Youtube. Too bad
Love it! Would love to see a save setting and an auto-start on boot option.
Only thing missing is a "start on smart tv powerup" option.
Constant crashing. won't work in background. won't work with netflix
This app a few hue lights and you are Set!! A better viewing experience for sure!
The colors are accurate to what's playing on the phone
What's the point
Tried to run it with Amazon video and it only picked up the main colour from the titles on black screen. When the movie actually started, it switched the light to white and stayed this way until I paused video. It slightly adapted the white colour while video was paused but resumed to whites once I carried video on.
Not what it appears to be. The app shows color matching from a tv. This only matches what's on your phone. You cannot match what's on the tv, at least not from what I saw. If I'm wrong let me know.
Easiest ive found so far, all the lights are the same colour and theres a slight delay, but it definitely enhances the experience! UPDATE: Sinxe leaving the review it has stopped working on my Nvidia Shield TV, and its vanished from the PlayStore so I can't reinstall it :-(
