Hue Wave works best when your phone's audio setting is at least at over 70% max volume. You should be able to adjust your setup's volume level directly on your speaker. Keeping the android audio level high results in much better looking light shows.
If you don't see all of your bulbs on the list make sure to check the entertainment areas in the official Hue app (last tab) or change the area within Hue Wave.
Lastly, just play around with it! It's a super robust system that is meant to be experimented with. Enjoying your favorite tunes while seeing your lights reacting individually is unlike anything you've seen before.

Great news about the toggle. By Tasker integration I mean to start/stop it and ideally select the option. I already have Tasker set to open Spotify, turn on the amp and then play. It would be great if this could be added to that. EDIT: Great to have a persistent input toggle now. I have every confidence that the developer will soon have Tasker integration so this is now a definite five-star app.
Awesome app!! I highly recommend this is a MUST HAVE!! I have Phillip's Hue bulbs in my tower lamps, they have 3 separate bulbs in each and with this App I can customize each to different color!! So Cool!! Easy to use!! There are preset Combos or customize your own using 3 Modes. Multi mode allows you to select colors for each light. Wave mode and Flow Mode!! I've tried other Apps this by far is THE BEST!!
Loving this app! It does have a bit of a learning curve if you want to create custom setup, but that is just an invitation to play around. Start with one of the preset modes and experiment with what the controls do.
This app was my favorite music and hue app. It hasn't worked in at least one month. I open the app and it shows the cherrycore screen then goes to a black screen that shows "searching for hue bridge 2.0+..." Having paint for this app is like to know when and if it will e working again as well as to receive a refund for my purchase as I e spent far too much time uninstalling, joining beta, uninstalling, downloading the public version etc. Quite a waste of time for what was once a great product.
Best light sync app that I've used. Interface could afford to be more intuitive; it isn't clear how to add or edit a group of lights.
I wouldn't have known what song it was trying to sync with. Then I hit pause on Spotify and when I resumed...nothing. I couldnt figure out how to reconnect to Spotify.
This app is so confusing. Maybe it needs to come with a tutorial or someone needs to make it more user friendly. Also, you can only use 6 lights at a time. Not much of a dance party.
that did it! Changing my 3 stars to 5, very simply to connect to music just needed to know how. this app is not only worth the money for the effect, but also the extremely fast response time from the creators!
The effects are absolutely fantastic. If you got a compatible hue system get this app to get the most out of your hue bridge.
app is good but lacks a bit of ease of use and ability to take audio from casted music and not only bluetooth and internal speaker.
Doesn't want to connect consistently. Requires room change or multiple restarts. Once connected it fantastic.
An excellent hue app. But I'm trying to add 2 new lights with a little difficulty. Besides that. I love it
Mediocre. The presents are OK, mainly use Fiesta. was keen to programme my own but it is complex and not at all intuitive.
Overall great! Difficult to save presets though... still figuring stuff out for sure.

connects great the first time then when i come back to it "searching for hue bridge". i started fresh again got it working and then same thing again.
Awesome app, but everytime I use the app and switch back to use the hue app I have to authenticate my device all over.
This App is so far the best app for Phillips Hue lights. Many functions to play with.
Very poor, only one area and seems to be full of spam like locked areas despite the fact I paid for it...

It worked great while it lasted. After reinstalling the software, it's stuck on "Searching for bridge". No amount of rebooting the router, bridge or phone helps. Even factory resetting the bridge didn't work. EDIT: I think I figured it out so I'm restoring this to 5 stars. It appears the app data was being backed-up and restored automatically upon reinstall. Disabling automatic restore seemed to fix it. Maybe there needs to be a software method to factory reset the app.
