It is possible to use Huge 80s Clock as screensaver through the Daydream function of Android. It is necessary that your phone is compatible with Daydream. This is the procedure:
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Display.
3. Tap Daydream or Screensaver (depends on the phone) to see a list of apps that integrate with Daydream.
4. Select Huge 80s Clock as screensaver.
During the Daydream screensaver of Huge 80s Clock, it is possible to set the brightness of the screen using a dedicated icon.
Works on any device, including tablets. If you decide to use this clock during the night, since the monitor is always on, it is better to keep the device in charge. The luminosity can be decreased through the "Night mode".
This app cannot be used to put the clock in the home screen as a widget. If you want this feature, try the pro version of the app! It's named "Huge 80s Clock Pro".

THUS FAR THE TIME APP is working well. I like the fact that I can set the font, color of font and the background color. I have not yet found how to set the time stamp on my home or lock screens. Tapping the app icon brings up the time in colors I set. Not sure if I really need the app as I have the time display that came on my SG9+. SO far I'm liking this one and recommend it to everyone to try especially to those needing a larger font.
A GODSEND for someone with poor eyesight! Without my glasses I can't see the time on my phone. Now I just punch the app and there it is! HUGE! I also switch to this full screen display when working and need to glance at the time from across a room, such as when I'm working on a project w someone for a set time, not sitting at a desk. This is one of the most used, most practical apps on my phone! Bravo for thinking of such a practical item. I couldn't do without it.
I downloaded this app as I often struggle in the middle of the night with my phone to see what time it is. So far I love it. Nice big numbers, basic display, basic settings, and easy to use. And most importantly no fancy and annoying "features" that I will never use; just a basic display to give me the time. I would highly recommend this app for anyone like me who just wants to see what time it is.
I put my phone on a stand, set this application up and voila! my night clock is up and running. Nice big display makes it easy to look at time from a distance, so I don't have to keep my phone right next to me. That helps me in not using my phone right before bed time. I can choose the colour scheme for the digits, that helps make it more personal. Thank you for this simple, yet effective solution.
I love this APP. It's a great Hamburger Helper, with the Alarm, and Weather functionality. I can get added help to start my days. Being a bit more ACCESSIBLE would be great. Having it so it can SPEAK to me and having it to read and highlight the displayed text, as it's being read would be a great ACCESSIBILITY FEATURE that could be user selectable under ACCESSIBILITY OPTIONS. I hope will continue to improve to keep it up to date. You might think of other options, both ACCESSIBLE, and Non. Thanks
This app is pretty cool. You can see the time, the weather, and much more. There is also a screen saver option too! You can also switch the clock font. Although sometimes the weather thing on the screen isn't updated. It updates on the screensaver and the widget though. The app is still pretty cool though. You should definitely download it. I highly recommend it.
Its a good download and now I don't have to reach around for my phone to check the time when I wake up in middle of night. Plus it's not add heavy. So all in all a good download and you can spend a few bucks and get some cool features but for a free app it's good download too and well they say.... anything free is worth saving up for!
Great display for people with trouble seeing the time without their glasses. The Developer responded very quickly to a question I asked regarding the program. Probably one of the best digital clock displays with all the options to tweak clock colors and sizes of the numbers.
Simple and stable. Not very customizable. I couldn't even change the colors. Would've liked to select which components appeared on the screen, like you can with similar apps. Can't beat the price. Uninstalled.

Excellent first impressions.. Will most likely purchase whe I have checked out a few nuanced of the pricing. It seems that there may be a number of additional 'pay for' options even if you buy the main license. We will see, but for now this does a great job if you accept the viewing daily videos to get repeat of additional features.
Finally! I can see my clock face!!! Not just while sleeping. But, all the time! All the extra options are great! I do wish though that the clock displayed on my unlocked screen too. It only shows on a locked screen. But, I'm still very happy with it so far!
The app is great and it looks good but I paid for the extra features and when I put the widget on my homescreen it stayed about 2 seconds and then disappeared and when I went back into my widgets it was gone so I tried the other widget and it never showed up on the screen and now both widgets are gone. I use nova launcher and tasker.
Used to love this app and bought the Pro version. But since a few months ago, the clock font shrinks slowly over a few minutes until it disappears. This happens on my old Pixel 3A and on my new Pixel 6. Just can't use it until this bug is fixed 😥
Just what I was looking for! A bedside clock with alarm, weather, date, battery level and customisable background. Have subscribed to monthly fee for all features. Excellent app, visually appealing and easy to use! 5⭐ Highly recommend.
A+ for this app! This is the clock next to my bed at night and on my desk at work. The numbers really are huge and easy to read. The red color makes it easy on the eyes at night. Lots of other cool little features too. Well worth the price!

The Huge Digital Clock is better than I expected. Setup is comprehensive and allows my favorite format, unlike most other apps of this type. I am replacing the various other apps of this type with the Huge Digital Clock as it performs the functions of the other apps in one app.
Very helpful when waking up during the night ! I can see immediately what time it is without having to find my glasses in the dark or having to tap the alarm clock to turn on the light !! Thanks
Really well done app. The clock looks great ans is highly configurable. I looked for "huge clock", this is the 1st one I tried. Glad I did ! As I won't even try to find any other. Thanks for coding this for those of us who can hardly see anything :)
It's decent, but the explanation of why the app shows a wrong alarm is completely bogus. There is no alarm set. All alarms are off and this app perpetually shows an alarm for 6 minutes from the current time.
I'm a Senior Citizen with night vision impairment and I wake up several times per night. I always need/want to know what time it is when I'm away from home. This clock has been awesome. I don't have squint to see the time on my phone. Thank you so much! 02/23/22 I actually love this clock more than I did when I wrote my first review. I can use the app to transform my phone into a clock at night!!!
Love the dimmable night clock feature as well as the alarm clock functions. I have poor vision without my glasses and I use this app every night on my bedside stand. I made the number display huge with a very dim light because I prefer that. This app is easy to use and hasn't glitched once in 6 weeks of use. I highly recommend it. (Android 11 - LineageOS - Pixel 3 & Nexus 6P - Mar 2022).
Clock display set to automatically rotate to landscape view sometimes changes to portrate while phone is still on it's side on charger??? Later Suspect my phone faulty, pse disregard above. I have tried many similar apps. but this is way superior to any of the others. All the possibly required "tweaks" are catered for. Well done you😃
Love it. Simple to use. As a vision impaired person I need to see the time during the night without having to grab my glasses. This app is perfect. I set a yellow, thick font on a dark black background and it is awesome. I can see it clear across the room with no problem. The app stays on my screen until I turn it off. No intrusive ads and many customization options. Great job dev ❤️🧡💚
