This version and the previous version don't work. It doesn't recognize me, a problem that has been going on for about a year. I have been logging in through the website which is relatively reliable. Because the app is so poorly designed, I can't help but be concerned with security. You guys need to actually do something about this, a year is far to long for a problem of this nature to exist, and especially considering the app was been completely redesigned 01/16/2020.
Can't pay your loan without jumping through hoops, took no less than a dozen calls to the automated system to finally get payment through, and it costs 4.99. They should pay me for my time using their poor system. Spoke to 3 different customer service agents that can't help you with your payment, what are they there for ? They're so behind the times, have to print out a permission slip, fill it out, tape your voided check to it and fax or mail it back to do automatic payments. Its 2018
I have no access to my money without a desktop, and even that experience is frustrating. This app locks me out of my account and doesn't recognize my username or password. Complete garbage, you would think this would be a priority for the bank. The amount of work put into the app or lack thereof just shows that they don't care.
The app works (generally) well save for two glaring issues: password recovery is the biggest literal pain, and the app enjoys regularly dropping your fingerprint information and forcing you to remember the password you set weeks ago through the aforementioned painful process. If any of the app developers are reading this, for all that is good in the world, fix or improve the password reset feature! I'll gladly use the last four digits of my SSN, my birthday, ANYTHING to improve it!
Great app until recent updates to banking. I can't get into the app AT ALL since the update on 3/10 and its SUPER frustrating. If you are going to update your customer experience, at least make sure they still have an experience! I was looking forward to seeing all my accounts in one spot but now I can't even see the original account! Will change stars if the app gets fixed.
App won't let me log in keeps saying it can't verify my information when I know I'm typing it correctly since I have no issues logging in on the desktop version. And from looking at others it seems to be a common issue please look into fixing this there hasn't been an update in months.
It takes too long for feedback sometimes on statements and hard to get info on weekends. Other than that, good. I enjoy the other features, and hope for a more frequently update stream.
Very frustrating app. Continuously has had issues since its existence. From being under maintenance very regularly to just not allowing logins at all. The Android version of the app has not allowed logins for over a week per the Hughes rep. They are working on another update. I'm sure it won't amount to much but we can hope.
It continually locks up on my Samsung Note 8. Sometimes I uninstall and re-download and install we'll get it going again for awhile but not always. At other times usually not very often it will work fine for a while.
I would give it 0 stars if I could. This app is making me want to switch banks. They did some online banking update, and now the app does not work. I have uninstalled it, restarted my phone, and reinstalled the app with absolutely no luck. It won't even log me in. Gives me a number to call, which said they were experiencing a high volume of calls and to try back later. The mobile site is not any better. It said the update would be done on March 10th...it is now the 12th.
I frequently get errors when I try to login through the app. I check my account login through a computer and no issues. Frequently it's not the most useful system and I find just using a computer.
Great idea, convenient. Not very convenient when I can't deposit a check for 5k. I know it may take a little to clear thru the system but this makes a very convenient app very inconvenient.
When this app works, it's good. Everytime there is a software update, however, Im ultimately forced to call in to have my password reset, even though I can change it through the app and answer my security questions. Not cool.
Latest update has rendered this app as total garbage. It was already bad enough that the app barley shows any useful account information (no due dates, no due amounts, etc) but now it will constantly say it cannot verify you.
Everything works great. Until you actually need it to work. Then boom you dont exsist to them anymore. Then the next day after you've already been inconvienced it'll work. Fix your online features.
This app is user friendly and has options placed in intuitive areas on the screen. I am unable to perform a transfer from outside accounts with this app like I can in the computer application or I would give this 5 stars.
I don't like it that they don't have a budget or bill pay. The site cancels you out too fast when you want to come back. It only holds the site for 3 seconds and then you have to log in again! I hate that!!!
This app needs more information when it comes to the account i can't see the payment due date. I will have to go to the website page. There is more to integrate to this app but I'm giving you a 5 starts because you guys have the best and low interest rate as of right now. Great company to do business
super easy to make internal transfers and I like that if you are only trying to view your balance you can do so without have to login (it's an option) ! great app
It was great when it was working really handy little app if your with hughes but, now it no longer works i cant open the app whatsoever even after powering off my phone deleting and reinstalling and clearing the cache. Please fix this so I can fix this review.
The credit union itself is excellent, I'm always pleased with their service and options they offer. However the app is simply bad: slow, outdated, too many problems, and doesn't reflect Hughes itself sadly.
Can't do cc payments thru the app or online. Many login (system problems) issues over the years. It appears HFCU is way behind the times. All you really get is balances.
It's okay, all you really can do in majority is balances, which to me is fine. I don't need much myself, but there are always login issues on my phone and sometimes on my tablet. Wish this was fixed buts it's been like this for a long time.
Keeps crashing. This is a very useful app, but it has crashed several times in the last 2 weeks. I use it a lot and love it, but I need it to work reliably.
the app is great, except to see a total of what you have put in bill pay and who you have paid is not available unless you go to a lap top computer.
Fast easy transfers, easy access without reduced security with the fingerprint sensor option, can review pending transactions . Easy to use app that covers all my needs in banking
can no longer sign in to app. I've reinstalled several times, but periodically, it won't display my username, and cannot validate my info. Not reinstalling again!
I use the app daily, it makes life easy for me. i can check my accounts throughout the day and always be aware of what my accounts are doing. I can make my loan payment, and credit card payments with ease while in my boxers. what's better then that?
I had my password changed 5 different times. I can't log in using the same password. 5 attempts i didn't log in online a whole year because of it. They can log me in but I try to do it and it won't accept my password.
This app works well if you just want to see withdrawals, however, I am used to having access to a running balance like with Bank of America's app. This app does seem like a bit of a downgrade but it is a small credit union so that may be an unfair comparison. the transfer option works great and I will be using this app as much as possible. Hopefully they will add more features soon.
