I love this app very much. The vintage effect is very well done and very close to the old film we got in the early days. However, and it seems I am not alone in this case, I purchased the full version, but nothing changed. I still got ads and I cannot access the extra options... I e-mailed the devs (and contacted them on messenger) but no response. Pls do something.

Deeply disappointed, I used to really love this app and took all my photos on it. Last year there was the update and the screen had zoomed and I couldn't click 'lab' to get to my pictures. I even emailed the company a few months ago to see if they would fix this as i had a lot of memories on there that I couldn't access. today was the day I finally deleted the app, so so upset as I have lost a lot of pictures but they aren't going to fix this issue and to be frank i'm just fed up of waiting.

Love the filters, photos turn out beautiful! But the problem that I have is that it does not show the whole picture before you take it, it's like while the camera is on, through the frame you see just a part of the picture, and when you take the snap, it has a few inches more to each side. FIX THIS! An additional suggestion: if the user could change the intensity of the filter after taking the picture, that would be ideal nad 5 stars worthy.

The camera is perfect. All the filters and effects, all good. My only concern is that once you delete the app or accidentally erased it, there's no getting all the pictures back. There is no back-up setting to help retrieve it whatsoever. I hope next time they can add that to the app. Or just let us sign in our email so it is automatically backed up.

I love the app, I truly do. I've used it for so long. The filter is really beautiful, and I love how using the flash makes the colors of the photo so saturated. It is frustrating to be unable to zoom and manually focus, but I've been able to still have beautiful photos. However, it is heartbreaking to lose all of my photos if my phone decides to wipe itself (as it did recently) and I have no way to get the photos back. As an update, we should be able to sign into an account as to keep photos.

I adore this app. The effects are beautiful. It gives you a randomized film effect. You can make a few customizations based on your preference. I like it because I tend to spend too much time editing my photos in other apps and this one is just simple. You get what you get so you're not spending a ton of time comparing every filter or lighting effect available. Definitely worth purchasing the one time premium free in order to import photos from your gallery.

I've been using this app for a full year now and finally decided to buy the extra options for 80p (should've done it earlier if I'm honest). Without the extra options you're not losing out much either. I am happy with this app and recommend it to anyone who's looking for this sort of thing. One feature I would like to suggest is (if Preserve Original photo setting is enabled) that the original photos be saved in a different folder. TL;DR My experience has only been positive.

I really love this app and I think it makes my photos look better most of the time, especially with the 3D effect. However, I just downloaded it on my new phone and went to import photos. It says I've already purchased it and an error popped up to try again later? I've tried to import multiple times and also uninstalling then re-installing but still comes up with the same error. Is there anything you/I could do? Thanks :)

would be nice if i had more control over the filter options. for example, i have random light effects ON, but you can never tell weather the developed image will have major light effects or none at all. Also, I've only managed to get what i assume is the white dust particle marks once out of the 50 or so images I've taken, even though i have image quality set to low. Due to these issues it's probably best to take the same photo 10+ times to get the one you want.

Hi! First of all, I really like your app, it has amazing filters and functions, and all. But I wonder if something is wrong with mine? Somehow, after I updated the app into the latest version, the random light streaks won't come out no matter how many time I tried to turn it on and off, or re-installing the app. It's such a pity cause this app is so good, it's one of my favorite but this error really disappoints me since the light streak is definitely the charm of your app. I wonder if you guys can fix this? Thank you and keep up the good work!

I love the effect of the camera. But I would like the ability to zoom. And also, there should be a provision to restore photos if the app is deleted. I just had to delete the app because the the camera isn't flipping to the front. I downloaded it again, but it's still not flipping. Can't figure out why this has happened suddenly when it was working fine yesterday.

I absolutely love the entire concept and function of the app. In fact I shot two pictures and immediately bought the extra bits. One thing I would love to have added to the app as a photographer is the option to switch between infinite exposures and a limited number of shots like a real disposable camera would have, and when using the limited shots option, you can't view the images until you shoot the entire virtual film roll. That would really be fun. But as the app stands. I gotta say that it's absolutely amazing.

This is an amazing app and I love taking photos on it, however I'm just so disappointed that after the update I cannot access my saved photos. The Lab button (which gives access to the photos) is off screen and therefore I cannot access my photos. To the developers of this there any way that you can fix this problem! So many memories will be lost if this problem isn't fixed.

For all those who have a problem with the LAB button. I have a problem with the lab button for a few days, although the official update of the app was in April. I figured it was up to the size of the screen where the problem occurs, because the app fits perfectly on larger screens. I managed to save the photos by doing the following: first, go to settings /display/font and screen zoom, then - screen zoom set to small, after that, go to Developer options and then turn on - Force activities to be resizable. In the end, open the Huji in split screen mode at the top of the screen to be able to adjust the bottom just enough to make the lab button a little visible - which was enough for me to access the lab and save the photos. My device is Samsung s7 edge.

I used to have this app and even had the paid version - it was great until I had to uninstall and reinstall the app, now it keeps giving me an error message whenever I click the "extra options" button, so i can't upload photos to edit even though I have already paid. Apparently a lot of others have the same issue, so it's disappointing to see that the developers simply don't care anymore

The app is awesome and the filter is great. I purchased the app and now I can apply this filter to any photo in the gallery. I only have one request to the developers. When we load the photo into app give us options to add flare and dust individually. 'Random light effects' option most of the times don't add any light effects or dust effect. So I have to load the same photo multiple times in the app to get light effect or dust effect.

Useless waste of money, I paid to be able to import photos and all of a sudden I can't import any photos. It'll take you to the page, I select the photos, and there's no button to "develop" the photos like there use to be. Using the apps camera (at least on Android) doesn't allow you to focus and center images. I use to take photos with my camera and then import and that's what got good results. Latest update broke the paid version for me.

Huji used to be so much better, you could add existing pictures from your gallery to edit them with the date from the picture, but then the app started malfunctioning so I uninstalled then reinstalled. The new version has ads and now the option to add photos doesn't exist! It would be nice to have that or to add your own custom dates to pictures. As it is now, I will look for other filter apps to use with the add picture function.

I'm giving this a 5-star review, although I really hope the devs see this and take it into consideration: I just paid for extra features and I would love to see more stuff added; for example, different dates like '90 and so on. Another thing that could be nice is add a slidet that reduces the amount of lighting effect or increases it so you can get exactly the amount you want. Otherwise, the app is great and takes me back to seeing old photos of me.

Well I love the app but like everyone else I bought the premium pack and can't use it. Ads still show up, can't import, etc. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, I added all the permissions, I did everything possible. I have an Android. Pretty annoying because it didn't have a problem taking the payment. Hopefully that gets resolved.

Since the latest update, I can't access my photos because the 'Lab' feature is beyond my screen's length. This makes the app completely useless because neither can I access my older photos clicked using the app, nor will clicking new ones help. Please fix this ASAP!!!! It seems it doesn't matter to the developers that all long term users are facing issues with the lab button. Photos are memories for us. They just couldn't care less. Been months since I reported this, not even a cursory reply!

Bought the upgrade but doesn't work, I've seen a lot of reviews on here with the same issue! Also photos take up loads of space on phone, so I'm constantly having to go back and delete them. The gallery won't back up withouy manually exporting each image which is annoying too. however, nice effects.

Update Most recent update has fixed this!! *** When re downloading the app onto a new phone, the premium purchase doesn't come over with it, but you also can't repurchase, which is really frustrating because I mainly used this app to import photos because taking photos through it was quite buggy. Have emailed the address provided but have yet to hear anything back and not holding out much hope if I'm honest.

I really like Huji! It's really good for taking aesthetic photos but I would really like if you could choose what effects you want on your photo and what you don't want. Like if I took a pic, sometimes it doesn't have random light but sometimes it does and when I want that fuzzy old film effect it doesn't have tge option to NOT randomly choose what effect I get my photos. But overall the app is great.

This app is absolutely great! I like it a lot, and the pictures are super cute. However, I think itd be nicer if you were able to sign in using Google or whatever so when you buy the app, you can sign in and use the premium features on other devices. I find it frustrating that I can't get all my photos I took within the app on another device, or even just still have all the premium features -after paying for it- across all my devices. If you allowed this kind of thing, I'd definitely make this app a 5/5.

I downloaded this app for the aesthetic appeal and experience. It does not fail to capture awesome pictures. However you have to pay to preserve the photos. I was not aware of this. Another app does the same thing but saves the photos. Sadly I took pictures to celebrate my birthday with this app and thought my pictures had downloaded to my phone. However it came out corrupted even though in the app it looked great. Sadly I didn't realize this until after I accidentally erased the app. I only took pictures with this app and there is no option to recover and now those pictures are gone forever. Many people have gone through this that I'm aware of. I have messaged the developer countless times. And no response. I hope those in charge can create a method to retrieve lost and deleted photos. Hopefully this will alert the creator. I love this app but the fact that this app does not protect and even physically download the photos themselves to the app is nonsense and creates these types of dilemmas. Now I am aware that you have to pay to have these pictures saved in the phone automatically. This came at the cost of losing precious memories. At least keep the photos in the app which is also an option you have to pay. Make an update and the option to recover photos that were deleted. Please see this comment and my emails. It's heartbreaking I have lost those memories forever. Do something take action and help those of us who are going through this.
