HUKD - Black Friday, Vouchers

I purchased the Xbox 2 month trial. But after I had received the key to enter it. The key had already been claimed 1 hour previous to me purchasing it. Eneba is obviously not a company you should be advertising on your website for hot deals. Luckily it was less than £2 but if it had been a big priced item I would be screwed. Otherwise it would have been a "not got no money left deal"

Great app in most ways but recently seems to have changed so that the Share links are not simple links to the HUKD webpage for the deal, but rather a weird link that can only be opened in the app, so it's harder to share deals with people who don't have the app because the link from Share just takes them to the Play store to download the app. Please bring back the proper sharing with the HUKD website link so I don't have to open deals in my browser to be able to share them properly.

Terrible display of alerts. Every alert is preceded by unnecessary text "One new deal matches your keyword", followed by the actual information about the deal which isn't displayed properly like it was in the past, because the unnecessary text took all the space. I stopped using the app for this reason and this is the real way to save money.

Tried to create an account but got banned ten seconds later. Reached out to staff just to be told that I was banned for self promotion. Told them that this isn't possible because my account barely existed. Never heard back from them. App is pretty pointless without an account. In general, the community seems smaller than comparable platforms I know from other countries.

Found on a YouTube advert ( the dude in the advert had a stupid haircut ). Super easy to use and very helpful for finding deals from all around the UK that I never would have discocered without the app

Really poor link handling. I cannot open the link from the deal or the comments in other browser than Chrome or Brave. Please add proper support for other web browsers like Vivaldi, Firefox, Samsung internet, Opera, Duckduckgo and others. Having to manually copy link from one browser to my preferred one (where I'm logged in to most of the stores) is really bad experience. You probably losing the referral in this process too.

Trying to share deals using the app will only forward a link to the recipient to get them to download the app. What rubbish is this? Fix this so you can actually share links.

Used to be a great app and community, lately a lot of deals get removed for no good reason, even when probed and asked the reasoning is questionable. I'm looking for an alternative as don't trust them and missing deals now

Excellent app but links from the app does not open with the apps, such as Amazon, eBay, it keeps opening in browsers

Good app for bargain hunting. I've found a lot of useful stuff on here. The feature that keeps a record of what you're looking for is very handy. I'd recommend anytime.

Would be a great app, if it wasn't for the notifications which direct you to the top of the main list instead of the actual deal...

Long time user of HotUKdeals. Originally used desktop and still do when on the desktop. Ever since the introduction of the app, I find myself frequenting HotUKdeals on a routine basis. Notification for particular items is very useful. Easy search function. Very engaging and helpful community.

Awesome app! Whenever I need to buy something, I always check HotDeals UK first to see if anyone's posted some offers. You can often find where the big savings and offers are on items. A must have app.

Very very bad app. Moderators ONLY allow favourable comments.. inflated and artificial comments and votes suggesting bots are used or payment from the advertiser.. deleted.. Just use Google to find your best deals.. so much faster without the artificial clickbait 'deals' - I expect said moderators to create an artificial reply against me now too...

Excellent app was using 1.8 GB of space on phone- in app settings, application data, delete image cache and now taking 69mb - much better

Compact view removed in latest update. Now there is too much wasted space, not enough detail on screen and too much scrolling to browse anything. Looks like I've zoomed in by 200%. Any update that causes one to use more time and effort to access the same data is not a good update. Luckily I have been able to restore a backup from a week ago so for now at least, I can use compact mode again and don't need to scroll, scroll and scroll, just to view the lists.

The removal of compact view makes it so much more difficult to quickly browse through deals. I simply can't understand what benefit there is to having so much wasted space. Also, there seems to be an issue where making the slightest movement to the left or right when scrolling causes you to change tabs completely. Combine this with how much longer it already takes to browse and it makes the user experience utterly painful at times. May have to revert back to an earlier version.

I like the service but the app itself is a bit, for a lack of a better word, not there. Alerts are kind of hard to set up. There used to be a really good button that would filter out all the expired deals, now it's gone. The search function is also a bit, erhhh, not fully there. It's not a bad app at all, it's really good actually but i just feel like the design of it and the search functions feel a bit inhibited and not fully utilised.

Have used the website for many years and it's great! Though I do always seem to have problems with the app. For the past few weeks most of the time when I click 'get deal' it says it can't, that it got interrupted or cannot be reached! Very annoying! Have tried uninstalling and installing again but still have same problem. Interestingly I don't have this problem on iOS.

Brilliant app, but cost me £1000s a year because I am forever buying the deals 🤣. They only thing I don't like about it is the daily pics, I would find it more useless if they could add pictures of what the deals within daily pics are. It because I am lazy and cannot be bother to read them. That way if I see a picture of the actual deal I think it would be so much better. The pics would not even need to be that big, Just big enough to make out.

Removing compact view is a big mistake. Find now that I cannot bother to scroll through the deals and only look when a keyword triggers an alert. Also, with the app update I have found that trying to refresh a page more often than not flicks to another page (i.e. Hot to New, or Hot to Highlights). Finally, there used to be a time when the app remembered the last deal you got to so all you had to do was scroll up to see all the new deals since. Never understood why they changed that

One of my most used apps, although in the most recent update they seem to have moved the search button from the top right next to the bell icon to under the 3 dot menu in the top right instead. This seems completely unnecessary to me, so I've removed a star. Response to the dev - My bad I had increased the display size on my phone so I've taken it back to 5 stars, does look like their is ample space for it to fit in though even at the larger display size!

Removing compact view makes the app way to cluttered for me to use. I will stay on a version with compact view until it stops working, then likely move to an RSS feed if it hasn't been added back. The app is honestly unusable for me in the main view, I went from seeing 8 deals on the screen to just 3, which meant huge amounts of deals being missed.

Top community-based app. The best way to save money (and also buy things you never knew you wanted!).

No compact view. Rubbish now. Edit. Your explanation doesn't cut it. Each deal takes too much space. And it is now much slower to use. Obviously too much data gathering going on in the background to bother loading the pictures for the deals. Used to be slick, now tedious.
