interesting concept. Good cases. But very difficult to actually use due to problems with controlling the screen. Scrolling through and editing diagnoses, and looking back at diagnostic info, are difficult on both the android and the IPad versions. I love the concept and manage to muddle through but the more I use it the more annoying the technical issues are.
Super fun! I'm learning a ton by being thrown into cases that are often a little outside of the norm. Would suggest this app to anyone who wants to sharpen their diagnostic toolkit. Love how it shows rates of responses for all answers (correct and not)!!! Fantastic to see image studies included in the case. Wish there was a little more in the history most times. . . Flexible on diagnostic names is also a plus. Great app. Keep up the good work!
Great idea but poor implementation of the UI. The user input interface to create the differential dx is so poor. If I enter a ddx then want to reorder it, it is darn near impossible. Then at one point the keyboard showed as if I was to keep typing a ddx but the screen did not show my cursor and I had no idea what I was typing. I already reached out to the developer. Perhaps you focus too much on iOS to develop a good Android app. I would suggest asking help for some open source help.
Excellent app. As a student it would be great to have an option of working up the most common presentations in each specialty, as sometimes they are very rare and interesting presentations, as well as being able to do them on the laptop/in browser.
Some networking glitch need to be fixed. Otherwise, it's great for clinical reasoning.
Love the cases, but the app crashes frequently and takes a long time to load , also wish there werr arrows instead of dragging dx up and down, and wish the dx panel auto hides at the bottom when clicking through the case (but can br easily brought up by a tap) and also wish images are easier to open
I want to use this app but it is really frustrating that it gets stuck on a page to create new case. Have to uninstall each time then relog with a cose but it does not even gives me a chance.... unless the developer fix this soon, I will just stop using it. I also see I am not the only one with the same problem..
The user interface works, but needs some improvement. I find the cases extremely helpful for connecting topics learned during didactics. As a student, I think this app will be beneficial to becoming a better clinician.
Some cases don't load when you click on an email or other link. You can't return to the menu either when this happens, the whole app is glitched out and you pretty much have to reinstall (Galaxy S9)
The app was fine but when i tried to open it for the second time, using the "log in" option, every time it sends me a verification text, the app crashes. There's absolutely no way for me to sign on and use it.
Great content but the app itself needs work. It's obviously developed first for iPhone and ported to Android. The interface needs work and it crashes intermittently. Again content is great!
Great cases! The layout is easy in the eyes and inviting, making it much easier to get lost in it, doing case after case. I look forward to doing a case or 4 each evening.
The UI is a bit lacking. Would also be nice to have a search function at least of the cases I've solved. I remembered a very interesting case and wanted to share it but was having trouble finding it.
Terrible UI, especially compared to the iOS version. Could not locate a list of cases to go through for a specific one we had been assigned for morning report.
As a resident I use this to help broaden my clinical knowledge. Easy to complete a case in a few minutes when nothing else is going on, good clinical scenarios and learning points.
App very glitchy, will not let me delete or reorder diagnoses, frustrating as case accuracy and completion is dependent on these functuons. Great case reveals.
Not easy to see information due to overlap with keyboard. The subject filter does not work. If I want GI I end up with Neuro.
This is great but There is no option to copy important finding, I could not save Interesting case for further reference or review. Adding these features will make this app much valuable. Thank you.
Phenomenal resource for clinicians wanting to improve their diagnostic expertise. As an internist, hospitalist, and medical educator, I use the app frequently and recommend it to all my residents and students.
Mostly excellent sequentially presented information to practice clinical reasoning. Learn lots from case learning points at end of case. Good range of cases in the expanding database. Highly recommend.
I wish there was a way to save favorite cases and to organize favorite cases based on the presenting symptoms so that we could use this app as a better tool for education
Good idea but bad code. After a while I was stuck in one page and could not do anything else, tried resetting. Unfortunately had to uninstall.
Really educational! Great for med students, residents! You can always learn something new.
Awesome app, but extremely difficult to log in it would be better if there was a password login option
Used friendly and cases are great! Posting health care providers are open to feedback to improve cases when needed. Discussion is much valued
This app is helping me to form a better ddx in my own practice! I also appreciate the variety of cases presented.
Such a great tool for both students and practicing clinicians to expand their clinical reasoning skills. I hope the platform continues to grow!
This app is very helpful and intuitive. Involves similar thinking process as in actual patients! Great work
The learnings I get here are beyond what I read in medical textbooks, and this also makes me practice how to think.
Good concept, but I think it has problems that only got worse with the updates. Slow loading times, screen clutter, and difficulty scrolling thru cases. I first downloaded and used this app 3 years ago, and while there weren't as many cases at that time the clutter was minimal and the app was much more straightforward as a result.
