You can also collect special items:
- scissors
- they make your snake shorter
- ice
- slows down the snake
The special items and gold apples last only 10 seconds. The faster you get them the better bonus they give.The game also include 7 different maps and 3 snake skins.
You have three types of control. The default one is relative. If the snake is moving horizontally, you need to touch the screen above or below the snake to make him go up or down. If he moves virtically, you need to touch the screen on the snake's right or left to make him go in the adequate direction.Controlling can be unresponsive if you have tap gestures on (for example triple tap to zoom).

Not that good quality, would be much better if you could change the controls, the graphics dont bother me that much but it does bother some other people so that could also be something to work on
The controls are poor... I prefer the older version... Was much fun and easy to control the snake.
Sorry to say I prefer version 1, as I don't like the guidelines appearing and there didn't seem to be as many extras like the 15% slower and the cut size symbol.
Has ads with sound that interrupt what you're listening to.
not that bad. reminded me about my old nokia days. graphics are mediocre but the gameplay and controls are pretty ok.

this game was great before you decided to go back to a classic. it was a new and interesting approach to a game that is everywhere on the internet and beyond. the only reason I'm not rating it a one star is that I loved it before. maybe you could make a setting to go back to the original style and controls? if not maybe something else. I apologize for the crappy rating and I will change it to 5 stars as soon as this game goes somewhat away from the classic game I see everywhere
