Bought the premium membership for $30/ year. App randomly crashes after selecting on a property and back off of it. Drop points don't align with cross hairs. 3d maps are now missing. Satellite and topographic maps show different road lines on updated highways almost a decade old. Imagery seems to be at least 6 to 7 years old. Makes it obsolete for why I bought it. Could save $30 and just use Google Earth pro, acre viewer website, and government topo maps (which are also superior). Please advise
Raising back up to 4 stars. Excellent customer service got me running again. It's still a little glitchy but usable again. My concern is now with development. The basic app has everything I need. These new features were rolled out too soon and are unnecessary to most users I would imagine. Perhaps there could be a basic package for customers like myself that just need propery lines and use waypoints, line distance and areas. Now I'm going to be leary of every new update.
When I log in it takes me to the purchase page and keeps trying to get me to upgrade. And when I hit the back button it just flash up the map then right back to the purchase page. It will not stop and I up graded to the premium package and can't get anywhere but purchase page. Like where I upgrade to one and it isn't good enough and they are trying to force me into up grading. I. Going to cancel me script if it isn't fixed and stop payment for the year!!
after paying the subscription and using for 6 months I can describe this app with one word, inaccurate. Overall it's ok to use as a guide, but it's as much as 40 feet off on my entire northern property line. All of my other lines are close, but for some reason, it always shows that line in the wrong place. Even when standing next to the survey marker. Update 03/23/2022. I reported the error and I got no response. I'm not surprised since they can't even get the property owners name right...
When I first downloaded this app and bought the premium membership the property information was up to date. For some reason the map shows outdated information now. It shows the previous owners of my land and my house that I have owned for four years. There doesn't seem to be an option to update that anywhere. Not sure why it once showed accurate but now doesn't.
Great tool, with offline map issues/quirks. Before going on a trip where you'll not have a cell connection, follow these steps to make sure things will work well: #1 totally uninstall the app from your phone. #2 reinstall the app and log in. #3 redownload the offline maps you want. #4 restart your phone, then put it in airplane mode. #5 open OnX and look at the areas you have offline maps saved....can you see what you want to see? Is the detail as good as you want? If not, retry the steps.
worth paying for. hunting and atv riding i use this app often. great interface, user friendly, clean and uncluttered, able to log in from any friends phone or my computer at home to see all my trails and markers. To the Devs- thank you and excellent work with the tools. i would love to see an option in the future for a friend to log on and be able for both of us to see each others positions simultaneously from each device. Edit: 3D view is amazing! Thanks again for keeping the app useful!
Loved it but no more. Have always bought my local state info. Last year purchased all states and app has crashed every single time I have used the app, sometimes right away others mid hike trying to find my way(full bars 5g) not sure what's going on but when I just had colorado it never crashed. I go to the same spots again and again all other apps work Gmaps etc. Feel very cheated out of the 100some dollars I paid
this is a great app. And when I get lost in the controls I get a within-hours response on how to pursue a solution. sometimes the property lines are slightly off when using the app to tell if I am within public property. This seems like it is usually caused by the GPS accuracy. Once in while it is further off and I have reported this to XHunt
This use to be great app when I had it before, but I repurchased the premium and it's been crashing Non-Stop. If they would fix it for me it would be a five-star app I've used this for finding fishing spots that are public and where property lines are for those few people that like to claim public property as their own. But I haven't been able to trust it since it keeps crashing all the time.
Updates show up with regularity. Call support if you have a problem, there will be a person who uses and knows the app answering your questions. No, really call, they depend on us to let them know what is going on with the app in the field. I don't know of any app that compares to the features and detail. I've been using ONX for 2 years and I am very happy.
So we used to recommend this app to every one of our friends that hunt. Now even with premium it doesn't seem to let us see property lines and landowners. Even clearing cache, clearing storage, uninstalling, reinstalling. Nothing works. Not sure what's up. *Deleting app now.
Super useful app, let's you get a headstart on an area if like me you don't have the spare time to scout a lot. Also amazingly full of useful features to mark any and all info down, and organize it. 10/10 would recommend for any hunter.
Great Product, when it works. My go to navigation software at this point. Unfortunately it goes through periods that make it literally un-useable due to constant crashes.
I used to love this app but it's definitely changed. The tracker setting doesn't work anymore it's laggy takes forever to load when all my other apps work just fine. Bugs need fixed for sure.
This app needs major work. Extremely hard to understand and utilize for beginners. Bare minimum instructions & no guidance. There are plenty more apps out there that work with ease. I would not recommend this app unless you have a seasoned professional standing beside you when you try to use it.
I must say. I have been hoping for the maps to update. I am running the current version of the app. But yet the maps are at least 5 years old . I no this as I have made some changes on my property , and theycdo not show because the maps are like I sayzat,least 5 years old. Maybe should think about getting some newer ones for paying customers, as lots of things can change in 5 years. Dissapointed , but from what I can see little is done with complaints from people.
This doesn't always work. For the last several days have tried to turn this on and it'll come on for a minute or so and then the app just shuts itself off. Pretty hard to rely on that when it's blue skies and sunshine. I thought maybe it was weather related but it's not. I'm not sure who to contact to fix this problem. When it works it's kind of fun to use. Although I have noticed that some of the property boundaries are not right.
I've used onx for a long time without issue, hunting, fencing, pasture management, real estate, etc. It's been great, however after the last update, all of the tools they are just gone now and it loads slow as molasses at startup. I hope yall can get this fixed asap, I use this tool alot and will have to find something else if it isn't resolved pretty soon. Thanks!
