I know this game isn't too much for my phone (galaxy note 2) but it gets choppy pretty frequently, once resulting in the other team getting two consecutive turns. Not cool. After I restarted my team (my first team sucked) I had one team member not gaining any experience. I had to restart again to fix it. When it's working it's 5 star turned based strategy though.
The daily mission changes assure the game doesn't get stale. However there really isn't a story, nor an ending, so the battle rages on indefinitely. Great job dev! Brings back memories of Front Mission and Wanzers, without the mechs or story, with solid turn based play.
The game itself is really good, It plays very well, the attention to detail & random levels are brilliant. It is about the only game that I have installed that I actually play every day because it has sufficient depth & interest for me. Only the four stars because it can be a little unstable & some of the in mission bonuses don't appear to work properly. Guys at Rodeo Games you are doing a great job, I hope you'll port your other games to Android as well. Particularly the upcoming Warhammer Quest.
Great idea for a game! I really like the game play. Unfortunately the beginning is ridiculously slow. You need to replay a mission multiple times just to level up(even on easy)... If the beginning levels weren't so difficult I would keep playing
This game is a lot of fun. The variety and balance in units is great, and the graphics are great. The progress is a little wonky and the bonus objectives don't always seem to work right but it is still pretty fun. I wish there was a little more change as you progressed, though.
The gameplay itself is very enjoyable. My only real problem with the current version is the menus, which are both dull to look at and somewhat confusing. This can lead new players to make the wrong choices, as little help or explanation is offered here. Two things this game or any sequel would greatly benefit from are a campaign mode with a story and gradually rising difficulty, and a multiplayer mode, preferably with a pass-to-play option.
This game is a lot of fun for those 10m generals out there. Get your light armored snipers and your hammer swinging heavies in position and take them out... without taking any damage. Nice! Good times. I hope we get their Warhammer Quest on Android. You can see that their engine for tactical games shows a lot of promise.
was working great and then locked up my Note 2 (completely stock) N7100 right after the refund period expired lol. Adding two more stars, it seems to be an isolated incident, but seriously, I can't close the thing with out using the home button? And then I have to manually close it. Either let us hit Menu and then exit from the main screen, or use the back button or something. I tried holding Back, nothing.
Wicked little game,can be fairly unforgiving if you spazz your tactics.if you like xcom or space hulk you will love it. The thing I would like to see, the odd alien ever so often pottering about,keep up the very good work
Some of the scientist missions lack the evac spot (moved him to every single square of the map without effect) and on those that works its really hard to know where the evac actually is. Also what is needed for the kill-all bonuses to work done those several times without ever getting the bonus (complete clearings of the maps) And how long do you need to protect the reactors for since some also have the kill all bonus (which doesn't work?)
Only problem is. This game will not shut down. And you have no true "exit" to leave the game when your in it.you can go all the way to the first screen but then nothing. I am uninstalling. Might try it again if problems are fixed.
Its one of those games that makes you think:" have the devs ever bothered to actually PLAY the game". There is so much wrong with it: The menu and equipping is totally counterintuitive and due to no real tutorial it took me forever to figure out how to do it. The game itself is much much worse, there is no real cover system the line or sight is totally inconsistent and the challenges and the difficulty of the game are just frustratingly unfaird and hard, even on easy- and not in a good darksouleaque way
Fun turn based game. This has been out for apple products but now this game is for android. I wish rodeo games made all games for android.
This is a difficult game to get into but well worth persevering with. Brings back memories of rebel star raiders and laser squad on the old spectrum. A very addictive turn based strategy game. Highly recommended.
Can't even start the game. Shows the Rodeo Games logo and then just sits there on a dark blue screen, completely unresponsive. Pushed through a refund before the time limit was up. Might come back to this if it is ever playable.
Stuck in snow mission, the 2nd objective (no casualties) status was still in progress. Even when i was done with the other objectives and finished all the enemies. It's a cool game besides that..
Can't complain much. Its a mobile app, so didn't expect it to be as extensive as JA. Pretty good fun actually.
It gets stuck on the same text. To choose a difficulty even when I'm already in game. The text menu doesn't go away so I can't even play/see the game!
I like the turn based system tho I really wish they would port episode 2 for us android users.
Still no update for Motorola droid RAZR HD models. Paid to be able to see logo and kill my battery. Game sticks at a black screen after logo shows.
Very nice game and I would have rated higher if I didn't find any issues. For, example in the armoury it doesn't give me the option to change gear to my mercs. There is an equip button, but when I press it there is no list of gear for any of my mercs and I have equipment both bought and looted from the missions
