Hurricane Hound
Hurricane tracking on a Google Maps background. Shows the tracks and forecasts of active hurricanes tropical storms. Also highlights areas the National Weather Service (NWS) is watching for possible development. Covers the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific Basins. Provides access to NWS forecast information including tropical outlooks and discussions, public advisories, forecasts, and satellite imagery. Also includes up-to-date US radar and weather satellite data.
The toolbar on the left allows you to toggle on or off each of the storm, radar, and weather satellite layers.

- you can select the ocean basins you are interested in, choose between three graphical themes, and select your preferred wind speed units.

This was my favorite app for hurricanes. It stopped updating weather Sept. 21 2019. I have recently emailed the company of my concern. I paid for the upgrade several years ago. It used to be so dependable. Right now it's useless. I have not received a reply about concerns. If they fix this app I definitely will give it a 5 star rating. I have also gone to their website which is nonexistent. So disappointed.
Was good until Saturday 9/21 when it stopped updating the Atlantic Hurricanes which is a major problem living here in Central Florida. Same situation on my wife's phone with an older version of android version 5 I believe I'm using version 9. We both emailed the creators but so far being ignored. We're both working with the paid versions. Clearing the cache, data and forcing stop has no effect either.
100% Non-Functional. I used to rely on this app during hurricane season (paid version) but has been inoperative since September. Just stopped updating. No developer response. Awful for something that people rely on for their safety. Stay far, far away.
I have used the free version of this app for a few years now and finally went and upgraded to the paid version. It was great until it stopped updating on 9/21/19. Please fix asap!
I really enjoyed this app until the screen froze up with Lorenzo, Jerry and other tropical storms. I have uninstalled and installed x2, nothing works. If this problem could be fixed I would install this app again.
I love this app. It's easy to use and understand. Low rating is because it's been stuck for 10 days, displaying a moment in time tater than the current view, despite clearing app cache. I will rate it 5 starts when it works
It's been great for years. But for the past month their seems to be something wrong with it. It's showing the same hurricanes stuck in the same position since September. Please make corrections.
What is the proper response when the developer walks away from an app? Does Google have a requirement for how long a paid app has to function so we aren't just getting ripped off? Having the knowledge that a developer can bail on a project definitely has an impact on future premium app purchases.
I rely on this app everyday especially during Hurricane Season. But the app has totally stopped working and froze on September 21st 2019. I've emailed but have never gotten a response. Are the creators of this app even home?
Worked well until about third week in September 2019. When I open the app it's not updating the storms. Hurricane Jerry is still showing up when that storm has long dissipated and hurricane Lorenzo, which is currently a cat 5 storm, isn't on the map. Same with TS Karen.
Used to work well, but after upgrading to Andriod 10, the app closes and wont open... Dont know if this app is still under development... But hopefully an update for those of us running 10...
This thing worked great for years right up until you required it be paid for, then it stopped working. Please refund my money as it is now plainly useless.
If I could give zero stars I would. App hasn't worked since September 2019. Fix the app or refund my payment for where I purchased the full version.

No longer being updated. Was great. Even paid for the pro version and now its useless. Havet been updates since 2018.
I live this app except now it's not working anymore. it just stopped about a week ago I reinstalled but did not fix.

It never updates well, then it completely stopped updating at the end of September.

This app is a waste of time. When you live in Florida it's a big deal for hurricane apps to work. For this one to be abandoned since 9/21 is surely dissapointing when you bought the premium version of the app. I emailed the developers twice and got no response for them. Really dissapointing, if I wish I would get a refund.
