I can't even browse through the app, it takes you to the website instead. Isn't that supposed to be the point? I want to be able to browse items and see what all the store has to offer and it would be an added plus to be able to sort those results from lowest to highest (some of us are budgeting). I shouldn't have to TRY to navigate this app, it should just be easy. Uninstalling...
Bring back the deals and features. Very unhappy with the move to the new app. Now you have blocked out the deals section of this app. The list on this app and on your website does not sync with the new app and it is not user friendly. I want to be able to view the ad page views and the deals and coupons and add them to a list at the same time that I can use when shopping in the store. This has been a horrible change.
Would like to see the adds when I open the app up. Not the deals and tips and such. Took a while to find where they had the pictured add. Not a fan of scrolling through 390 individual items ,one by one, or having to constantly filter to look for items. Maybe I just havnt figured out the basics of using the app, but it should be as easy as Dillons app or Checkers or Walmart.
Takes about eight minutes to install after downloading. App does not load anything past the splash screen and then takes about four minutes to give the error message that it's not responding. After leaving feedback, app becomes unresponsive again for several minutes. Takes about eight minutes to uninstall too. I tried reinstalling several times with no change. I use a Moto G6 with Android 8.0.0. This app is completely broken for me. Thanks for this useless time-waster.
When ordering for pick up or delivery this just takes you to the website, which in itself is very difficult to navigate and make a shopping list. Only thing that makes this an app is you can see your fuel saver balance and some coupons but other then that not very impressed. Will just will go to the store and shop less Hassel then trying to navigate the website. Also very disappointed they got rid of the free shipping on orders over 100$ and now have to spend 99$ for a membership. Not Amazon!!!
This USED to be a great app. Now it's almost worthless. My primary use was to check sales and compile a shopping list. Now that DEALS has been disabled, I am forced to use aisles on line app which requires 6 taps to add an item and return back rather than a single tap or swipe. I am truly hating this change and the IT people who are clueless.
Today I was using app and all at once it decided it didn't want to work anymore. Now it will open but when I want to go to "deals" or anywhere else it crashes. 5/17/20 update: App only good to look up how many fuel saver points there is. It wont bring up any lists. When I try to add to a list app crashes. Wonder why they cant fix this crappy app.
The search seems to use an OR operator between your terms, so it returns inappropriate results. No one is going to type extra search terms into a grocery app on their phone. At the very least use AND, but whole phrase search would probably be fine. I ended up going to Hy-Vee specifically because the app showed results for a two-word query. They did not have the product; they had products matching one of the words.
OUT OF OPTIONS! FROM BAD TO WORSE! Can"t see any deals. Apparently need a separate app. This app needs major improvement and the new app has bad reviews. No organizational scheme in this app. Obviously unaware of information architecture principles. Filter option is useless.. Why set the filter repeatedly for each area you want to view. Filtering is cumbersome and extremely time consuming since you have to filter out sections one at a time; not collectively. Was 1 star, now less than 1.
They took away the deals and coupons section. I know have to use 2 apps just to see things. And the second app won't let add to my list with doing curb side pickup. Im very disappointment with the app. Bring back the old version.
This was my favorite grocery app until they disconnected the deals. I would click on deals to add to my list. Please fix! It has changed my grocery shopping, I am making more stops at other stores.
I just want to look at the weekly ad. Is that so difficult? I don't want to scroll through list after list of hundreds of items. I just want to view it the same way I would if it came in the mail/newspaper. If I have to go to your website in order to view it in that format you're app has failed. Apps are supposed to make things simpler for your consumers.
I wanted to review this app before I uninstall it. It was useful and handy to have. Now it seems I have to have two Hy Vee apps on my phone to access all the features that were until recently available in one effecient easy to use app. Nope. Don't think so. This app offers so few of it's original features, it's worthless.
Now that Hy-Vee created 2 apps – this 1st app for shopping the weekly ad and fuel saver specials…2nd for shopping the store online. Why can’t this 1st app continue to be active and shop from this to create a shopping list based on the weekly ad and fuel saver specials – Just as it was designed to do? Also, since the aisles online app, I no longer receive email for coupons and specials.
I used to love this app, but apparently they are not keeping up with maintenance!!!! Every damn thing I try to do it responds that I've timed out. Tried everything left came back in same thing. Going to try deleting & re-i stalling, will give a better review once it's actually working right!!! At this point I'd give it a 0 if I could!!!
This app usedvto be great. Now, i need a separate app to browse deals and can only make a shopping list for delivery, no option for using thevshopping list in store, myself, like the old app had.
Totally worthless. You can't use it at checkout instead of the plastic card that they give you, and you can't use the app for discount at the gas pump. In Minnesota, you even have to take the plastic card into the gas station and pay inside to get the discount. 1990 called and wants their app back!
They removed coupons and deals from the app! So the title/description for this app is now 100% false advertising and should be removed from the Play Store entirely. I don't get the newspaper, so I don't get the weekly flyer. I'd wager most people who use this app don't get the newspaper. This app is (was) how I looked at the weekly deals. Not only do I no longer have a use for this app, I no longer have the desire to shop at Hy-Vee.
This app is okay but many times I still have to go to an associate to find out what aisle my items are hiding in. Hy-Vee should take note of Sam's Club app. Their scanning go is awesome it puts an end to self checkout.
The primary reason I use this app is to make lists for grocery shopping deals and loading coupon info into my shopping list. This feature just got disabled and made this app practically worthless. Some warning would have been appreciated
App has poor value due to complete lack of a search function. I added an item to my shopping list in the app. I can click on the item in my shopping list to get more into; however, it is missing some of the details of the sale on that item, like the size, weight, or other info that would help identify the item (when there are multiples of the same item but in different packaging or size/weight/volume). I wanted to find the sale item in their ads. Can it find it? Maybe, if I'm willing to slowly scroll through 998 ads. Yeah, right, like I'm going to waste my time, miss the item, re-search, and repeat ad nauseum. The web site has a search function, but not their app. Also, on the home screen, clicking on ordering online wants to open a web browser. Excuse me, but why isn't this app have their Aisles Online app included? Those should be one app, not separate apps. No search. No integration of their apps. Clumsy design. (Update: Don't bother with their Aisles Online app since it is junk - read the reviews.)
