Useless. All I want is to know the running total of my usage in kWh during a billing period, but all it gives is your running total cost and projected cost. Why not usage? It would be very simple to add that in. App is unnecessary complicated and unintuitive. Old app was much better, even if it was kind of clunky.
Terrible app. When it bothers to load, which it often doesn't, not a single one of the functions works properly. You'd think a big organization like Hydro Ottawa would be able to afford a working app. I wish I could give you a zero, but I can't, so I am giving you a one.
If you were using this app in the past and now find you can't log in (enter credentials and nothing happens), uninstall and reinstall the app. It's a totally different interface now. Dunno why legacy users didn't get updated to the new app but that's what seems to have occurred.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Created an account through the utility's web site, then I found this app online and downloaded it. Tried to log in and it told me I needed to register for an account when I clearly already had one. There's a disconnect between the app and the site which seems weird to me because they should be the same data. Ottawa Hydro, I don't know if you read these reviews, but you need to look into this. What's the point of having an app if you can't log into it?
After the latest update I had a similar issue as others stating it would be stuck in a loading screen. To fix this simply uninstall the app and reinstall and it should allow you to log again. Took 10 seconds for me to fix it :)
app works well. checked all the different functionalities and everything seems to be working fine. pretty useful to see the appliance breakdown cost. not sure why app has such a low rating.
Figured would be fixed since the other reviews were so old. Nope, cannot open app since you still have to log in even trying to get info, like the outages. UNINSTALLING
App is currently broken, but used to work great! Might have been the most recent update, but just gets stuck on an infinite loading page when you launch it now (June 14th).
App won't log in, just spins and spins. Needs fixing or remove it. Same issue as above still exists, however on 2.0.2 app now tells me to check my network connection.
Downloaded this to see an outages map. That didn't work. Looked at billing that didn't work. Insecure login.. Nice. Not sure what the purpose I'd of this app is except to see the weather.
How useful is the app if it keeps popping up the message of session time out each time you login? Post successful login, it says session timed out and goes back to login back. You'd rather not have an app than have a poor app like this.
When I open this app, just never pass initial loading screen to login everytime, says to try again because something went wrong! Frustrating and inconvenience. Truly Worthless. //Note 20 Ultra 5G
App won't let me login and says I'm not registered even though through the browser says I'm logged in and I can access my dashboard fine. Would have loved to access my power usage through mobile app solution, hopefully this issue of using Google's login can be fixed
Its not in english. There is no option to change language. Only advetised as english app. Contacted app developer but no results.
Can't view usage stats after moving months ago. Latest update is from June 2021 and it is now Oct 2021. Contacted the company but they're not doing anything about it. Eventuually ghosted me.
App no longer functional, constantly complains about network connectivity or that they are having problems. This has persisted for several months; unacceptable.
Got the app worked for a bit..now I I go to open it but never leaves the loading page. It's a shame because when it did work it worked well!
Why can I not exit the app? Basically useless during the current power outage. Hydro One app is far better, please make this useful. While ur at it, website is terrible too. Wish I had a choice of provider.
Was working fine up until the Android 10 update but now it crashes and won't launch. Have had to uninstall it.
Won't let me log in. Keeps telling me my email is not registered, although I'm logged in fine on my browser. If I attempted to re-register, tells me my email is registered (as it is).
* Update Dec 2020: Now even worse. Daily consumption has disappeared, making the App totally useless. Change rating to one star from two stars. * Original Comment: Previous day's consumption should be available the next morning, not days later. Check Hydro Quebec's app. They have a superior app AND much lower electricity rates.
Login has never worked. Message we are still collecting data for your home, check back in 48 hours stayed for 2 weeks.
cannot give negative stars. on install starts in french no option to switch/choose language. uninstalled
Slow, buggy, and looks it was to be used with an old windows mobile platform.

Garbage app. Need to have a service account to even check for outtages.
Cannot report outage though app?? Outage map auto-reload interrupts what you're looking at and resets the map..
1. i have to log in even if i only want to check outages. 2. the outage map displays for two seconds then it's erased, replaced by a screen-filling grid of squares and the map won't come back. 3. they've clearly spent lots of time on cool background images and ultra modern floating login boxes, and very little on getting the actual functionality working.
