Hype City - Idle Tycoon

I've only play this game for about 3 to 4 days but I think it is great. I really haven't seen a single ad they I can't avoid. The only problems are that the ad helicopters get right in front of where you would collect the money, the "do you like this game?" comes up way too often, and after you are playing do a while, buying land is really expensive. But those are minor issues you can fix but this game is definitely a four-star I would give it a 5 star if those problems weren't there.

Meh. I hate those kinds of tutorials that play for you. At some point it lets you decide which house to put where and that's great, but other times i am not enjoying it. Make it intuitive, add the tutorial as an option, i don't know. Let people skip this, or give more options like woth the houses. I tried the game too. It's alright, but some other clicking games are more interesting to me.

I play a lot of idle games to the point it's hard for me to find new ones. This one has been around for a bit, and it's probably one of the best. It's both satisfying and infuriating trying to get managers for automation unlike other idle games. The UI is simple, clean and very intuitive. It's quick and painless, and only ever needs a check up every few hours for progression. Definitely one I'll keep around for longer than others!

Good game overall - but holy cow the helicopter. There's a helicopter that is constantly flying over the city trying to get you to watch ads. Which on other games is fine, as they normally have it on the side and you can use it if you want. But this one literally hovers over the buttons you need to push so you are forced to click on it - then it's back 3 seconds later. It's quite annoying.

Several things that can make it better. 1: new york has glitched areas that dont show. 2: recieving buildings and mangers from all suit cases is very unbalanced because most of the time you end up with buildings and no managers to manage them. 3: the gift trains in all areas go to sydney instead of the respective areas the trains are in. Please fix these issues. Update: sometimes the gifts go to the area the trains are in but it still messes up. I'll send a video via email.

This game definitely has potential as an idle game. One big problem Im seeing is that you literally have to watch ads over and over again just to get basic buildings and managers for those buildings. This kills the pacing especially in the beginning of the game. I'd say keep the ads exclusively to multipliers. The puzzle element is interesting though (never seen that before in an idle game).

Better than a lot of these types of games. I don't mind the ads because you get rewarded well for them. The only thing I would like to see is adding some additional cities. I have all 3 and New York and Bali are fully unlocked. I also have several Legendary buildings in all three cities. I only have two or three plots left to unlock in Sidney and then I won't have anything left to do. Please add more cities so I can continue to enjoy the game. It have only been playing 2 days.

I understand that its a free game and developers have to earn money through ads and in game purchases. But I have to watch each add twice to get the reward, not fun! Other than this obvious intrusion, the graphics is nice and clean. Gameplay is slow and not much going around. I wouldn't recommend.

The game is quite engaging initially, but drops off after a week. That's something for the designers to look at. Otherwise, not a pay to win by any standard, you can chug along progressing without spending money too.. a variety of elements and options to keep optimising. Quite engaging.

Need to watch ads in order to get new buildings. What you get after is also RANDOM. You also have to upgrade the bank in order to get more money. Kinda pointless. Idle game yet not Idle when you have to click again and again from time to time because there is a limit on money.

Boring af cash grab clicker. On top of that the drag is so sensitive it's hard to tap on anything because it just thinks you're trying to drag the map around. Also I tried to make a skyscraper or whatever is in green and it said no buildings available of that type, and gave me a button to buy a new one, but when i went to buy new, it took me to the gem store that has nothing at all to do with the building. devs are just trying and failing to get on the idle incremental clicker cash cow train.

Very fun. No problem with the ads. You only watch them of you want to for diamonds or upgrades or even the daily gift and they all let you either skip early or they all are short. No problem with lag or any graphic problems. I 100% recommend this game to anyone. Veryyyy fun.

Too much ads and distractions. Edit thanks for answer, I feel I have to elaborate. The ads don't event load on my phone, so that not a problem. I'm talking about that annoying helicopter and the random promos popping up. And I have advanced to NY lvl but it seems I can't get more managers nor buildings after I gotten the first billion in NY. I can watch ads to get new briefcase or buy with gems, , but if ads don't load at all and don't want buy gems then what am I supposed to do to advance.

Wouldn't let me play, I started on the tutorial, at one point it had the hand in the wrong place and I couldnt press anything. I reloaded it and even restarted my phone like 10 times and nothing changed. I was really looking forward to this game, please will someone fix this bug so I can play Hype City.

Lost everything. Had to reinstall to a new tablet to discover no cloud or save feature. Just lost a years progress and expected to start from scratch. Be warned, check any game for save features and delete if none. Disgusted player!

So....... When I first started playing this game everything was fine... Great even!! Was making money, get extra buildings and such..... Until the game said my connecting wasn't active. Pressed the button to connect but no go........ Uninstalled it only to see that I've lost my game. And no I refuse to start all over again...............

It's a pretty ok game, I don't hate it but it's not the best either. It's kinda boring, and not engaging, one thing might be to make the buildings s little cheaper so the game moves faster. If that or something to speed up the game is implanted I'd rate 5 for sure.

It's very repetitive but it's great for killing time. The ads are optional. You could skip the ads by just spending your own money but if you don't want to or can't afford it then don't complain about it. It can get very addictive to play this game. The developers did a great job.

If you want to play a idle game with literally a million ads attached to it, by all means. You literally run out of things to do in the first minutes. Another game with potential but currently it takes Forever to build up money, I've been trying for two weeks to reach dollar amounts aa, whatever that is, in the first and second cities. Boring. Maybe I'll try it again after you've added more to it.

I reinstalled to see if you had added cloud save since Xmas but you still havent so I guess I'll check back. Prev Review>I like the game but since it doesnt have a game progress backup I'm gonna uninstall and check back in the future bcuz nobody wants to invest time in a game of this nature without some way to back up progress.

Thebgame is kinda not stressfully but the most anoying is when helicopter show up, cause that hellicopter showup on in middle screen i cant even collect coin cause that Helicopter. So can you make rid off it, if you wanna show the ads show the on top left screen. And sometimes miss click like i wanna collect the money but accidentally click to new buy land. Pls. fixed that.

I love the game it is fun. But I don't like that if you have extra managers for one city, then you go to the next you can still use them but it will only get money from the city before. It sounds like a good thing, and it is. But if you have extra then you can't really use it. I like how it does that and I don't. But otherwise the game is awesome and I love it. The one problem was only one and other people might love that it does that. So overall I love the game

It's pretty addictive and when you get rarer buildings make sure to delete common ones to make room if you need to. You can also change the zoning on the plot of land when you delete one

Honestly, for a game that has the word Hype in it. And i was Hyped for it. It was a huge Debbie downer, a disappoinment, i wasted my time on a game that takes forever to do the simplest things. And whats worse is the lag! And the consent crashing of the game! And Ads! And connection! The list continues on. honestly i dont recommend the game at all. So dont bother downloading unless you like what i listed

I have gotten to the point where Im finding it impossible to advance after only getting to the 2nd city. So there is no point in my wasting space on my phone by keeping the game...update: Im not a moron, I did all those things EXCEPT watch ads. If you cant produce a game where a person can advance without watching dozens of ads then I cannot justify lining your pockets with money earned by me wasting my time...

I dont like games that force me to watch ads AND I REALLY dont like games that says watch an ad to get what you need for the game such as property managers but then the case gives you something else! So basically its a lie and i hate LIARS!!!

Having to upgrade the bank constantly is extremely frustrating. So many menus to do one simple thing, then it seems to require 90% of your money to do so. Within a minute of starting the game I already decided to stop.
