only took me like 7 hours to beat the first level. You know, the usual. really enjoyed it, great game play, great music, especially loved the little random "banner" quotes. The second level, which I was looking forward to, is nothing like the first and a lot harder, as expected. (Like the fading in an out colors and stuff.) judt curious, what were you on when you made it, and where do i get some? edit: just beat the game. definitely worth it for the surprise at the end
At the time of writing this review, I have just beat this game. Finally after years of trying again every now and then. I literally had this game across 3 phones. Every time I changed phone I reinstalled the game because I was always so curious to see what the next level would look like. Well, I just beat the final level, and I got a reward. It's a very nice reward I must say, I definitely love that stuff, but it's not enough. Please give me another hard level. It's all I ask for to keep playing
This game is absolutely AWESOME! The music's great, the visuals are great. It's perfect! Now my question is,, what made you think of the name 'Hyper Flex'? Edit: seems reasonable
This is by far my favorite game to play. I'm even bringing in games from ps4 and xbox into this. An actual challenge, humor, and just plain old school 90s gameplay make this amazing. Good job, FoXoft.
The music is sublime, gameplay is pretty simple but the little tweaks and twists make it so much fun. I love this.
The game is incredibly refined and is a very good choice for endless runners. My only complaint is that that high scores are obviously hacked and takes a bit of the fun out of posting a good score
First of all: Its a great game. Its fun, its challenging. I wonder what this game feels like on acid.
GREAT soundtrack. Playing again after 2nd time beating it. Good job.
very good game but it's too hard to unlock next levels
It's so hard. But so good. Reminds me of VVVVVV in a way
addicting and annoying. just my cup of tea
This is perfectly balanced as all things should be.
thanks for the cake
The game is overall is amazing and addicting. The only issue is that many obstacles are difficult. Unfortunately these obstacles tend to appear after the score 400 but the harder ones appear at around 700. The worst part is that you dont really get too many opportunities to practice because you rarely make it that far. I've been at this game for hours and cant make it to 1000.
I absolutely love this game as soon as I tried it. Quickly responsive controls (which is pretty much required in a one touch game) amazing chiptune music, and a lot of character that comes from the little announcement bar on the top when you die. I sincerely hope more phrases are added routinely, otherwise the phrases are just gonna get really annoying really quick.
This game has a few glaring issues. One being the hit box, I don't know if it expands when you jump or if the spin the cube does causes it, but you are more likely to die from the uncontrollable spin than from spikes. Another thing is the forced delay after you jump, so it's impossible to do somethings without pixel perfect timing. Other than these things, the game is pretty good.
First off, in a game like this you really can not have the player die instantly from hitting a wall, it should make him get stuck on it which pushes him back and spikes kill you instantly. My biggest complaint is all the times where you need to do stuff when you can not even see the block. Edit: while at least the developers have some personality in there replies. Lol.
This game is awesome. Hopefully more phrases will be added and new spikes and formations too. The music is very cool but you should give us an opportunity to buy a gold version of sorts where there'd be no ads. Also an opportunity to buy the music lol. Oh and btw there's a typo in the phrase "we care too much"
First the music. I don't know if its pseudo-chiptune or not but its still amazing. The color pallette and the resolution is great. The gameplay is also great. It's an infinite runner and I don't know how they did it with a seemingly tile-based system but they have all these Twisties and turnies and it really ads to the challenge. If you thought that gravity switching wasn't cool or creative anymore you are very mistaken. The devs (or dev I don't know which) truly did a good job on this game.
An Amazing Challenge Such a challenge... at first I thought I would never be able to get to 1000m. But here I am. The game gets fustrating, but feels extremely rewarding when you finally get the goal. The music was composed wonderfully as well; I have always enjoyed the retro style music. This game to me deserves a perfect rating. Thank you for creating such a great game.
Really liked the game. Had alot of fun playing and I was surprised by how many differnt combinations of obsticles there are. I love the way it looks and the whole "Heads up display" feel. I like the idea of the ticker tape, but i think it says some stupid stuff. Yall should make it where it says what you did wrong. Like" incorrct wall contact" when your on the wrong side, or tell you that you how many miliseconds you were off when you switched,"0.003 seconds early". Had fun.
Simple and fun. The game is pretty challenging and quite enjoyable. I also have respect for the developers for not using unclosable 30 second ads. I hope they keep updating with more types of obstacles every time. Also, one thing that could be added is different themes and colors. They could be unlocked by playing enough and could also be pay-to-unlock, giving people the option to support the creator.
There are very few games you can call perfect. This is one of them. The game is addicting and satisfying. You won't ever blame the game because you'll know when you messed up. The game is extremely well optimized, fully booting in less than 1or 2 seconds and I have not experienced any frames dropping. I have yet to encounter a bug. The art style is simple but works great with the type of game. The fact that the game is not anti-aliased means it will run faster and it gives it a retro feel to it. Good music
Due to stupid resolution decision by Google the game barely works... Low frame rates on the nexus 6p it seems that there is some rendering problems is the low resolution simulated or real low resolution?. Playing such a twitchy game on low frame rate is just purely annoying! Edit: thank you for replying I'll be happy to increase the score but the optimization for the nexus is just not worthy.(the phone doesn't get hot it starts with low frame rates hence with input lag)
This game provides a great challenge, and is certainly a good time waster. There's also a leaderboard to keep you going for your best. On top of all that, this game's music is phenomenal, providing a nice retro vibe. I'll be honest, I'm a sucker for pixel graphics, but this is done beautifully, from the twists and turns to the difficult gameplay.
