It's really annoying that whatever database it uses for speed limits is clearly not up to date, because I will be doing the limit with cruise control on and it's still thinks I'm "speeding". It also doesn't track all of my trips (3/every 5 trips taken will be tracked) and I can't figure out how to manually override the auto-tracking setting if there is a way to do that. I'll have it as the active app and it still won't track sometimes. Other than that, not bad overall.

The app has issues but you do get credited with points for rewards. The app will stop tracking even when you have the app open. The most annoying part is that during some challenges for trips, the app won't credit your trip even though it meets the criteria for the challenge. I have quit and restarted the challenge and it still doesn't work. Without the challenge points, it takes forever to gain points.

I'm bringing back up a star on this. They got rid of the competition that wouldn't work right, and as long as you turn off alerts and can get over the fact it constantly says you are speeding, braking, or using the phone when not it does pay. I've cashed out $10 so far and am on the way to $15. With they would smooth out the gps and fix the phone motion being detected still so this was really usable. Also, support is not helpful on these issues, I tried. It needs to be fixed in code.

Almost perfect. I love being able to look at my past drives. I really wish it would tell me where my driving wasn't smooth though like it does for speeding. I have no hard braking but still on get 80s in the smooth category. The only other bug I have seen is that sometime speed bumps count as phone usage (I'm cool with it penalizing me for going too fast over speed bumps, but it shouldn't fall into the phone category).

It truly makes you a safer driver. As soon as you install the app, you become more aware of what is happening in the car, throughout the process that you think is automatic. You get notifications of speed, and phone handling. It is kind of like slap on the hand, which just make you more aware. I first thought the alerts are a bit annoying, but it is controlled by me...if I keep speeding I keep hearing it. If I am inside the "framework" it is only played when applicable. Rewards are nice too.

It's almost great! The speeding mis-flaggs sometimes, but that is to be expected when tracking through your phone. The only real complaint I have is in the phone handling flags. My car is set up to be completely hands free and I still get flags for changing the song track using the radio buttons, and answering a call using a voice activated headset. I wish it could differentiate between actual phone handling.

EDIT: I have been using this app consistently for about a month now. Overall, it has good tracking of when my trips start and end. However, my biggest complaint is when I'm on thr freeway: when I am cruising at 60-65mph (speed limit in California) and happen to be in the rightmost lane, it will indicate I am speeding and ding my score. Also, when I have my battery-saver mode on, the app sends a new notification every few seconds reminding me to turn it off for proper tracking.

I drive 700 miles most weeks, and racking up points still takes forever. The app will ding you for touching your phone even when parked at your destination. Some trips don't get counted correctly if you hit end trip, even if you're parked and done driving. Speed limits are not always accurate. The app shows the speed limit is 45MPH on the freeway only 1 second long. The speed limit being inaccurate makes it impossible to complete challenges, there's no easy way to report inaccurate data.

The app is pretty good at getting you points and gift cards so long as you use it occasionally. So far I've gotten about 3 $5 gift cards using this. That aside, I hate when you are marking your trips and after each one, it scrolls you back all the way to the top one. This is really annoying for me, especially when I forget to mark my trips daily and then I have to constantly scroll back to the last one I was on. Also, it sometimes says I'm speeding when I'm clearly not.

It was ok until I went to redeem and the only options available are Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Uninstalling until they bring back Amazon or something useful. Also, the app is constantly popping up in my notifications checking if I'm in a car, but it misses trips all of the time. Edit : They fixed the gift card situation, so the app is very worthwhile again.

It was good at first. I got to my first gift card very quickly. Then they started having more and more speed limits incorrect, so the program thought I was speeding , even if I wasn't. If you contact them, they take more than a week to correct the speed limit, and don't give you the points you missed because of their error. While it might be a good program for some, I won't be keeping if I get $5 a month when I drive hundreds of miles per week

This app really does help train you to become a safer driver... And pays you in gift cards and prizes to top it off. I would give it 5 stars if not for that fact that it is often wrong on street speeds and phone handling. I sometimes lose points for phone handling, when my phone was in my pocket the entire Drive. Also I have lost points on the freeway because the app thinks part of the freeway is a 25 mile zone and just down the street from me the app thinks its a 35mph zone when it is a 45.

Rewards add up kind of slow, but the worst part is that I get less points because it thinks I'm speeding. It regularly tracks my speed as 5 mph too high or more and the speed limits in my area are all off. I've emailed them when I find one that's wrong but they don't update anything. Instead the app continues to chastise me and not give me points because they are too stubborn to update things or too cheap to pay for good info.

Overall, it's a good app. One of the advantages of my crazy long commute is that I rack up a lot of points with it. It has also helped me to stop looking at my phone, even at red lights. Those are the good things about this app. Areas for improvement: 1. Speed Limits: It will often say that I'm speeding when I'm doing no such thing. Example: I'll be driving 70 in a 70 (with cruise control) and it will alert because it thinks the speed limit is 55. You also don't know how much over the speed limit you can go before getting a violation. 2. The smooth driving section: Unless someone hits their brakes suddenly in front of me (I live in a metropolitan area so it's going to happen from time to time), I don't slam on my brakes or suddenly accelerate; but with nearly every trip, my scores in this area are consistently low but with no violations. I'm not sure the reason why this is. 3. Driving hours: I don't know why this is even considered as part of the score. I don't have a choice in the time of day that I drive and I certainly cant wait until rush hour is over before going to work. It's rather unfair to those of us who commute to work in urban/suburban areas.

Would be a nice app but it does not record all your drivig trips. I never mess with the settings but when i contact support they tell to make sure battery saver is off for this app so i want to know how it gets turned on when i dont mess with settings at all. This is the 3rd time my trips didn't count so I'm thinking about uninstalling this app. Not worth the hassle.

Stupid sensitive, and the speed limits are incorrect. I'm running google maps, which tells you the speed limit and your current speed - I also run DriveSense through my insurance. This thing will say I'm doing 8 over the limit when neither of the other apps indicate that I've done any such thing. In fact, I'm the guy that meets the speed limit and uses cruise control everywhere he goes. It also has me "on my phone" several times WHEN I WAS IN A CUSTOMER'S DRIVEWAY. Can't finish challenge 5.

This is a great incentive to drive better and safer. However it is currently have problems with the automatic drive time. I have it on and it's not picking up the driving time. It just keeps saying 'We are checking if you're in your car' then nothing. It is overall a great app!

This is an amazing application. It keeps track of where you drive how you drive and how to improve on your driving. Not only that but I also rewards you for driving well or just driving in general. Because of this I think this is honestly the best application you can have on any Android phone whatsoever as long as you drive or maybe even if you don't drive. Overall very great app for a wonderful and I recommend it.

Extremely inaccurate. Says you're using your phone, speeding, and hard braking when you don't. My app stopped working for over a month now, I lost out on about 450 points. Contacted the company multiple times with no response. Definitely no quality control. Seemed promising, but useless if it doesn't work right.

Super easy app to use! Legit app that will automatically run in the background anytime youre driving. collect points based on miles driven. Takes a little bit to accumulate a decent amount of points, 1000 points = $1. Either way, highly reccomend as an easy, no hassle way to earn free rewards!

I love the app but there are issues with the GPS. I have noticed that it marks me speeding during my drive on the highway. The system puts me on sides roads causing me to lose points while on the highway. Other than that it is a great app.

Not only can you make a few $$, but it's actually made me more conscious of my driving habits. An added benefit is they have amazing customer service. I was having a small problem with the app. I clicked the "Contact" icon & had the issue resolved with 24 hours!

App is ok, but needs some work on accuracy, sometimes the app would think I'm still driving 5 minutes or so after I have left the vehicle and on some rough roads the app would think I was handling it. Also the speed limit isn't accurate on some roads.. but otherwise it is a useful tool..

I love this app! The reminder to slow down is Great! It is so easy to just follow the flow of traffic and forget about speeding and this app helps with that. The rewards are awesome and VERY easy to use. The challenges and games keep it interesting. Hoping this becomes a permanent app!

Pretty cool app. Was able to redeem some of my points and got $15 for Amazon. It takes awhile to get points but if you drive a lot it shouldn't be too hard. I was having trouble at first redeeming my poi ts but customer support helped the very next day. They responded fairly quickly and fixed the problem.

Surprisingly well worth installing. Auto tracks your driving and rewards you for it. And best part of all actually does pay out very easily. In a month I earned enough points for a $15 amazon egift card. No other drive reward app paid out that quickly and easily. Recommend 100%

so far this app has made my driving better. I find myself paying better attention to my speed and my phone use when I am driving. the fact that I can check my trips and see where I was speeding or using my phone was shocking at first. it's fun trying to earn the extra points and compete with others. I haven't earned enough points to redeem yet so I cant comment on that.

I never rate apps but man, I just noticed this app is shutting down with no date but mention of a possible return. This app is amazing, specially realizing how early it was in development. I will gladly provide my email and hope for its new & improved version. You guys got to, its a one of a kind app. Very helpful & rewarding!

It worked great until I used my points for an AMC gift card. I've driven over 3,000 miles with GPS on high accuracy and it hasn't noticed. My Google location and 2 other driving rewards apps keep up just fine. So I'm uninstalling for good.

Was a good app until it logged me out and makes me sign up for a new account. Happened after the most recent update, so I hope it's a coding error and not a server error. Update: You say you no longer operate in California, but your app says you do, and you deleted my account without warning. I want my money.
