This app is terrible. We have recently started using them and the app is full of bugs. The posted and filled shifts section doesn't display any information, regardless of refreshing and restarting the app so many times and there is no feature that allows to contact customer support. There is no billing section. In terms of transparency customer is extremely vulnerable to being overcharged.
Love Hyr! I've been able to score pretty sweet opportunities with them, some of which have lead to permanent job offers. I now mostly use it whenever I have some free time and there's a shift. It's a great way to make a little extra as well as network. Every experience (but 2) have been great! Would recommend! :)
No obvious means of editing notification settings. Not clear what notifications relate to. Two notifications always come at once with different coloured icons for no discernable reason. No obvious way to filter jobs by skillset. No obvious way to delete account. Needs a huge amount of work to be done to make it a useful app.
Hyr works best for those in the hospitality industry. I had many technical issues with the app, but I can't rate the actual process of Hyr because I was never able to find Administrative work or it was always full. I'll try again when I get an opportunity to.
I've gotten about 30 notifications today about new jobs being posted, just to open the app and see nothing new. Not like it really matters, no one ever replies to you anyway. Don't get your hopes up with this service, seems like a complete dud to me. Update: To Developer - please read my comment again. There arent any new shifts, despite what the constant notifications say.
This is a fantastic App! Great for students looking to earn extra money at their own leisure. You can choose your own availability. Get paid within a few days via etransfer. My only criticism is that I wish this App was in more cities and I think it could use some more types of work. Other than that it is a superb App! This App has been my saving grace when I really needed money fast!
decent app. but if you are unable to land a first shift so employers can see that you have a rating, it's near impossible to land a shift. also, I've had 6 shifts that I was accepted for, but then had cancel on me within 24 hours. there should be some rules against that. especially if you've been accepted for a job 3 days before the shift, then the day of it gets cancelled. this app favours alot of pop up shops that have 2 hour shifts for a measley 40$. not worth the time and effor
Every good shift is filled by the time I get a notification. The question is, why would they still have it up if it's been filled. It seems like it's kind of just a waste of time. Just advertising for unattainable options.
this app needs an update asap... it doesnt update the way its supposed to, i get 20 plus alerts a day but cant seem to see anything other than filled postions, ive been staring at stuff for may 17th for a week solid and yet every hour or so i get "check out this new position just posted".... this is starting to turn into a joke and a massive waste of my time and skills.... if it doesnt get fixed soon im done with it.......... if i could give no stars i would...
I keep receiving notifications telling me there are new job postings but nothing new pops up when I refresh the listings page. I have also yet to here back from a job that is supposed to start tomorrow. I have no indication of if have been accepted or denied.
Useless app, very limited jobs, haven't received any responses, can't personalize it much (location, resume, etc). Glitchy. Has potential but it sucks now, so I am uninstalling.
I show interest on jobs before they get filled but don't get the final approval to work them. A couple of hours later the status of those jobs changes to filled and I've been tossed to the side. Time to Unistall, currently not working for me, who knows I might be back. I will stick to NEXTCREW
Great Maintenance. The payment is real quick unlike other apps. I just found a small glitch in latest update. It shows to withdraw the application even after the job is filled
The app doesn't have a feature that to notify whether the jobs that we have applied are rejected or not. I dont know why the last two jobs I applied were not on the list later.
This app is really great. Also very easy to use. Accepting a shift is very easy and the staff and very professional and polite. I recommend getting this app.
Great app for finding shifts to supplement my day job. Employers are great and support staff are quick to fix any issues.

OMG this is the best. Super simple to find a bartending shift in Toronto. I got paid super fast in like 3 days. It was just great.
Hyr an app connecting restaurants with temporary workers,is expanding to include retail.i thought it would be such an amazing experience to not only work at all different places but be able to make my own schedule.
HYR is amazing. They really do on pay within 72 hours, and they are easy to work with. The jobs are posted daily , often hourly, and the customer service is actually available when you reach out to them. Almost instantly. I will be a HYR for the foreseeable future, and if you're a freelance worker, and are looking to get a gig, look no further.
This is a great app since downloading had a week and a half ago I've already picked up four shifts and I've been able to supply food for my 7 children
Very easy to use and all the gigs I've worked for so far have been charming.

App never works Trying to add work os useless as you can't manually enter the company (must exist within the app) or job done.
Hell guys, I have been using this app from last 10 days to get shirts but unfortunately I didn't get any single shifts till now so this app is garbage so download it and waste your time.
The time zone still not showing not correct time zone for my shift. Eg. Shifts on 2:15pm-7:30pm PST is shown as 11:15am-4:30pm. I assume is converted into EST time zone. Please fix
This app is not working, I am trying to obtain a passcode to log in but it is not sending it.
great app if you need some extra cash but don't rely on it. some improvements to be made. - really hard to get the first shift to get a rating. - employers take too long to accept/ decline you when you've requested to work a shift. - notifications for shift that have already been filled. - not enough info on shift description. - shifts that have been filled stay on the app for days/weeks. (waste your time scrolling passed filled shifts that have been filled for weeks.)
