Hyundai A-League Official App

Pop out window now actually works (major issue last year), but streaming is 10 secs behind live, so I get notifications from other apps before I see something actually happen. What annoys me the most is that the audio & video are not synced. Audio is a good 1.5 seconds behind, e.g the players stop before you HEAR the whistle for a free kick. IDK why, but app notifications ceased working so I missed a few games this week. Otherwise, I enjoy being able to watch W-League & games I dont normally see

I enjoyed this app up until the full screen ads showed up about 2 weeks ago. Now I can't see anything. Can't even access a menu. I don't mind seeing ads but not when they preclude you from using ANY of the features of the app. I've read the other reviews which have been addressed as 'ad have been removed' and this is simply not the case.

Good app for A-League. it does work most of the time however videos play up (seems to sometimes freeze when adds are supposed to play). There are now adds popping up which cover everything. How to ruin sometime 🤦‍♂️ Thank you for helping but now there are pop up adds that take up the whole screen and cannot be closed.

Notifications for W-League are too much. Can't customise it so you only see 1 team's results. I don't care about other matches! Only want the results/updates from my team! Edit: above has been fixed in that you have the option to choose what sort of notifications you get, & that individual teams are now available. However after going through & disabling all notifications except for the match start/half time ones, I still get random news notifications! May as well turn off all notifications!

The app is mostly great but (1) Latest Matches on the home screen shows matches in random order unless I pull down refresh several times (should be by closest kickoff time) and (2) the app doesn't close properly when the "appear on top" permission is enabled, rendering half of my screen unresponsive to taps after I have closed the app. When in this state I can still see the notification "My Football is appearing over other apps" even though it is closed. Note 10+ latest XSA firmware.

Having talked to a rep of the FA regarding this app prior to the start of the season about ways to improve the app, the only changes made are for the worse! Can't even stream via the app any more as every time I click the link to "watch" a match either live or on delay the app windows collapses. I thought Fox Sport was "unwatchable" but games on the MyFootball app are literally unwatchable. Nine weeks into the season and this is still occurring! Just thankful I don't pay to not watch matches.

I'm glad this app exists as I just got rid of Foxtel and like to watch the Victory games on replay. Stream quality isn't great but my biggest peeve is there is no option to hide scores. To get to a match replay you can't help but see the final score. This is especially sapping of enjoyment for a low score sport like soccer. Please pass on the suggestion to the app developers. [Edit] Bumped from 3 to 4 stars after update to hide scores. Thanks DEVs!

Its rubbish app that can't show live football except past years football 😔😔

Very poor app. Can't watch any video content as it just comes up with error messages every time. Difficult to use, particular when looking at recent matches where there seems to be no discernible order to the games. Going in to the fixtures section takes you to Round 1 every time and then makes you scroll across ever round.

Update: Thanks for fixing/removing the full page ad issue! I would give zero stars, this was a great app until changes made recently. Now trying to find matches, times and how to watch is now ruined by a full page ad that won't go away and only thing to do is close the app 😔

Have had issues with videos not playing before the recent update, still have issues. A small pop up says that there was an error in the playback but the video plays in the background? Was happy with the app up until a few weeks back when I haven't been able to watch any videos at all

It is good to actually be able to watch w league and a league games even if it is on a small screen. It would be good if replays were available sooner so if you can't watch it live you don't have to wait until next day by which time you might not be able to avoid knowing the result. While it is good that you can now hide the scores, ir is if limited benefit when screen shots below show one team celebrating

I am not happy with this APP at all. I was paying the $4.99 each week but changed to the Yearly payment on 24th september 2019 and I am still being charged the weekly $4.99. not happy at all and now i cant get into watch any games as i have to renew my subscription, which i have paid for on 24th september. Although when i have acces it is a good APP.

It's pretty good but I can't set a favourite team like on the AFL app. Also you can't restore a live pass for a Telstra acc if you have one active already (if you hit cancel and then activate it works again but two clicks come on) - also not an issue on the other live apps.

As an experienced Optometrist & university educator I'd state that this app strongly encourages viewing a small screen at close range. Not only is the software clunky, but the limit to screen size may be potentially damaging to vision, especially young eyes which are still developing. (7inch, but only about a quarter of that if viewing live! - the rest is blog & team lists.) Similar screen size rules apply to NRL, & Cricket Australia Apps, so don't believe any BS that it's not Telstra's choice!

I want to rate this higher because of the improvements such as hiding the score but there are some glaring issues. Navigation bar stays active in fullscreen and when I turn on floating video it wont allow me to go into fullscreen mode until I turn it off.

I signed up for the free trial. At the end of the free I had $4.99 taken from my account as I had not cancelled the subscription. I immediately cancelled my subscription but they have taken a further four payments from my account since I cancelled even though I don't have access to watch live games. I cancelled it through google play and got a confirmation email saying it was cancelled. I have four more payments taken out after confirmation. I had to go to apple I Tunes to stop payment

Is this a joke!? I can't even use the app with all the advertisements that keep popping up! 8 ads in a row when I tried to use the app after opening it! Very dissapointing to see! Make fixes or I will be uninstalling this app. Was also one of the main reasons I kept my telstra account, looks like Optus is going to be getting my business.

The latest update make The stupid ads cover the entire screen making the app unusable. Absolute garbage. Update: the developer said they turned off ads and that seemed to work for a day but they must have turned them back on because we are back to full screen ads that can not be closed making the app unusable.

Tried to sign up with Google and said the account already exists. So tried to sign in with my Google account which did not work. May be good if it would actually let me sign up or in.... update: exchanged a few e-mails with customer service. they asked for some details to try and rectify the issue. didn't hear back from then so wrote a follow up e-mail a few days ago and still no reply. *update: had to sign up with FB. would be nice if you could do a pay to view for a single game for cheaper

Everytime you open the app and add comes up and can't access anything from the screen. Really can't use! When you unsubscribe you are then able to navigate through the app. Really inconvenient

Full page pop up ads have rendered the app useless. Telstra have commented a number of times on user reviews about the ads being disabled but they are still appearing. Shame, it was a good app but have now uninstalled it. Do better Telstra.

This will always be the app I use to check scores. I love how the app shows almost all of stats in Australian soccer. And streaming matches works perfectly on here. I just wish there was more National Premier Leagues information to be shown. But otherwise, this app rocks!

Look guys, as Luke has stated in another review, the ads take up the full size of screen.. This app is great for updates but it's completely unusable when ads are in your face. Telsa said it was fixed on the 7th of May 2021 but I updated then checked on the 8th of May and the issue is still there. Great app until this happened.

Good app, but seems buggy on wifi. Speed-tests show wifi is better than 4g, but games and highlights buffer and fail on wifi, but work immediately on 4g. Reproduced in multiple wifi networks. Very disappointing as it chews data unnecessarily.

Can't chromecast onto TV with this app, the viewing window is not full screen, stream quality poor, now the ads take up the full screen and can barely use the app. Can't believe they try to get people to pay for a subscription to this

Decent app but no casting support. What's the point of paying for a subscription service that limits me to a mobile device. I don't see this as value for money. Also unsubscribing is not straight forward. App says I've paid and subscription is active but subscription not showing in my Google account so I can't unsubscribe. Does this mean I'll continue to get billed for something I'm not using??
