I Ching

I was being mean to it, and so this is a bug report, and not really a review. I gave it 4 stars so as not to disturb the average rating much. I denied it access to my files, photos and something else, and my flash card is full. The app went into a rapid, uninterruptable loop while it tried and failed over and over again to write a history file to my SD card, and then stopped running. Shouldn't have crashed. Should have said it can't run without permissions, or should have told me card was full

I don't understand anything from the answers the app provides. They just seems like a random BS clapped together rather than something meaningful. Maybe it's because I'm not Chinese. But personally, I think all these 'I-Ching' apps are using some sort of auto-generated descriptions with "anscient Chinese/Confucius" style text that are completely off and pointless for the practical usage. None of them so far have been comprehensible or had clear answer to any question.

This is exactly the app I was looking for, when it comes to my I Ching. Wilhelm B's translation...spot on for a 'new traditionalist'. One thing, I wish there were a way to go back and edit question/name. Also, a place to keep notes, as to your own personal insight, would be a welcomed addition. A lot of wisdom from self reflection and feedback can be attained through your wonderful app. Thank you.

Why does this app want access to our photos etc? Doesn't have anything to do with this! My phone went haywire when I didn't give access to my private info!!

Excellent app, accurate, clean, simple and practical. However it would be nice to be able to go back and edit the question.

It is a unique app with the ability to use custom interpretations. Is it possible to share prepared custom texts on one device to another one (i.e. with external file)? Do you plan to add this feature?

I love this app. My one question is why can't I see different transforming lines that I cast in the reading? Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.

I will give it 5 stars if it has both coin and yarrow divination. I downloaded it again and I'll continue to use it for practical reasons.

I've always liked this app. It is more or less the first app I've ever installed on an android phone and I am still using it. The developer is kind to provide the app without a charge. Thanks a lot.

Very satisfied! Readings are both accurate and very much reflect the given translation- Just one oopsy: I would prefer to have access the dictionary files themselves for local storage. Long story short, wifi isn't available and I'd want to bring my dictionary to another offline phone. Change that, and the app gets a 5 star from me!

Generally, I am very satisfied with this app (I use it more than half a year). I find it accurate and pleasant and easy to use. Offline mode works well with me and is extremely useful. I would give this app five starts without doubt if it weren't for a strange glitch that happened in the end of May. I was through a series of readings when all my History just vanished in a moment! I tried to wait, to reload my phone, but nothing happened. It's frustrating, because I often use my History for learning and to see how everything turned out. It happened again in the beginning of June. I don't think there was any problem with my device's memory. I don't hope my readings can be brought back, but please try to fix it in the future (to trace back what happened or to back up user's data). Also, I think it would be useful to have other translations in the app, like Legge or Blofeld (I believe they are free). Original, too, maybe? I often use a site where you can see pop-up translation over each character. It helps me to grasp the essence of the message without translator's influence. And, it's a bit unrelated, but why not to make a similar app for Ubuntu? I think it would be useful, still, there wasn't any last time I checked. Thank you for your work and absence of ads.
