This app isn't horrible but it's consistently crashing after I swipe through about 120 vehicles.
Too many bugs. If you click on a car and add it to your watchlist, you will lose your place in the search list & have to start all the way over when you click to go back. Also, not able to sort by zip code anymore after latest update
It use to be easy to filter by distance to the yard but now you guys oy have the choice of filtering within 800 miles and no choice to sort by distance anymore? This ruins the whole experience since you now have to scroll through and try to find which is closest to you manually
Bought a few cars . The search option needs optimization. It's not very user friendly.
To all of the users complaining about the auction list just looping back to the same cars, you can avoid that by scrolling all the way down to the last car, then work back to the top. It's annoying, but at least it makes it workable. To the company/ developers, the app is slow, the above referenced problem is very annoying, and the live bidding response is too slow to be really effective. Other than that, I love the ability to bid on cars all over the country.
The app overall is good, design-wise, it's very solid BUT the memory management is just terrible! The app will more often than not forget my entire filter when i try to go back from an item back to the list. It's extremely frustrating. The searches and filters aren't too reliable either. UPDATE one month of use later: app is almost unusable! The search feature is useless, the filter function is useless, if you browse through more than 3 items in the search results the list gets reset. TERRIBLE.
App crashes when I touch search. Same on side menu. Cant search anything after latest update, which ironically forced me to update. Shouldn't force me to update if update is bad. Will change my review when I get a reply that its fixed. Seems im not the only one
I like the app but dislike when I'm looking at vehicles and it forces me to start from the beginning after already looking at over 200+ cars. Overall a great g
App won't let me log in, it will flash something real quick and start over.. I can go to website and log in but app won't recognize I'm logged in and won't allow me to log in. Plus if you ever search or look at your saved list when you look at a vehicle it starts over every time you go back. You have to jump hurdles just to register and then the fees are higher than anywhere else too. All the issues trying to log in didn't start until the last update took place my phone update 10/01/2021 FIX IT.
Great app but how does it offer ever imaginable way to sort results except by distance. The website offers sorting by distance.
The new update is trash, can't sort vehicles by distance anymore. How can I see what cars are close to me or too far, I have to waist my time by looking at every single vehicle. Honestly very disappointed, save your time go to copart
Am not able to open the app after the update. Am seeing this app may not be optimized for this device. Am using Samsung Z Fold 3. Please do work on the app.
what's very frustrating is that I can't hear audio with the auction as well as when I go in to look at the vehicle lineup it always makes me go back through the list and then as you go farther into the list then when you click on a car then it takes you to a whole different area I don't understand why something could be so complicated it has never been that way before and I have re-loaded the app so that's not the problem
I have repeatedly attempted to upgrade my account in order to purchase vehicles, the app and website freeze up in the middle of me trying to make my annual payment
very glitchy. keeps sending you back to the top of the list and out of no where will start selecting the same car over and over making you restart the app. over all extends the amount of time needed to use it by a huge amount.
The search engine is extremely confusing and many times pulls up 0 results for common models and makes (terrible with short word /abrev. searches). Feedback system seems pointless as no changes are made no matter how many complaints on this subject. On the flip side I've had more success dealing directly with IAA Managers when it comes to feedback responses. As of 09/01/2021 my review is being edited because they have changed the search engine greatly in it now works much better than before
Tends to reset on its own after filters have been selected.
Latest app update, everything is working nicely. Only downfall is that any vehicles you have a pre bid on disappear from your list the day if the auction. Makes it hard to find them to bid on day of auction.
Can't even sort by zip code, what the heck is up with that? I need to be able to see what vehicles are closest so I can bid on the closest cars.
Limited resources, it can't handle more than one auction at the time. If you are looking at auction list goes back to the beginning of the list if you add the Vehicle to your watch list. For the amount of data and money involved in the transactions deserve a better developed App.
This app got a new face with some upgrades but now is even worse. I cannot copy and paste any info from the app on my galaxy note 10 5g. This a very big inconvenience. Also when you viewing the auction list i wont let you see all the car on the list and it will go back to the first car on list.
This app is broken. Needs to be functional before new features are done. One minute I can filter and cars come up and the next minute it will tell me no cars are available. It's very fustrating trying to use and find "get arounds" to actually use this app. And the cost calculator doesn't even work. Not to mention I paid for a membership and it has been 7 days and I still cannot bid on cars. The email stated my account would be verified in 24 hours. This company is a joke.
It would be a Nice Touch to add a comment section for the examiner so they could give insight to not so obvious conditions of the vehicles. & Where is the trunk/hatchback pictures? I Can tell much effort goes into this though, but THOSE items should be in mind for future updates. Overall, good job!
Iaa is a very decent Salvage Auction but it's internet bidding is not one of the best.It can't work with mimimal internet service like other Auctions, You can only look up the first few cars on the auction list because it directs you back to cars you have seen, you have access to view a few cars before the auction even when those cars are up for sale , and the same cars keeps coming up when you try to view all the cars on the same auction list.
I hate to leave negative reviews but I have to on this one. I buy used vehicles. The only reason I took my business Copart is that IAAI website and app is horrible. It soooo slow. Plus, crashes my phone. At first, I thought that there must be something wrong with my phone, but later I found that the app works sluggish in other websites. I enjoyed Copart becuase of their super fast website and mobile app.
Glitchy, crashes, can't sort via zip code. The app should be able to function stand alone as a purchase tool, but no, I still find myself using the desktop version primarily because the app is trash. And with the recent update not allowing you to sort results by zip code, it has become even more cumbersome.
