The content from Iain Abernethy is really, really excellent : 5+ stars. The content is enriched very frequently. It is a valuable practitioner's and teacher's resource. However, I am frustrated by technical issues (many of the videos stop playing after 1 minute for me). I have had the issue on three separate devices, so I think it is a problem at the source. But what bugs me most is that the technical team ignore my messages to find a solution. Tech support 0 stars. :o(

I LOVE the content in this app, especially the "in depth" series for kata. My only complaint (costing it one star) is the app always resets if I switch out of it for any reason (incoming calls, texts, writing this review, etc.), and then I have to remember exactly where I was to pick up where I left off. Other than that, solid app. (Bonus suggestion: if it's possible for you to add "clip notes" or other related written content, that would make the app even better!)

Great app for those in the Practical Karate community. Kudos to Iain and the Budocode team for constantly bringing new content every week. More than worth the asking price. I only deduct one star because of some minor bugs that occasionally happen when playing videos and for lack of Chromecast support: It would be fantastic to cast the videos of the drills and bunkai to a TV in the dojo in order to follow during training instead of watching in a tiny phone screen, and casting the screen from the phone is not the best solution.

Amazing content from Iain as always. If you are reading this review you probably already know who he is. There is plenty of content here, it is well organised and well worth the money. However the app itself is very poor. It is constantly buggy, I can hardly get through a video without issues, it is slow and feels dated. I understand that the budget for an app like this isnt massive, but it still could be much better as it is just a fairly basic content delivery system.

I was really excited to use this app and I can see that there's some great content on there but the app is practically unusable on my phone (Google Pixel). Videos take a long time to load and I can't pause, skip or rewind.

Very organized and helpful app. Menus and interface are easy to navigate, no problems with loading videos or podcasts. As always, Mr. Abernethy's material and knowledge is top notch.

Content is amazing! But the videos are very stop, start. The videos will pause then take 30 seconds to re-start. Any fixes?

Terrible app can't load it, won't run and just keeps taking me back to the log in page. Would love to see the one that but the app won't let me. Waste of time, sorry Iain love your work but I hate that the app simply doesn't work. I live in NZ perhaps that's the problem

Amazing content with great updates each week. Plagued by some annoying bugs, so not exactly elegant in its functionality but the sheer quality of Sensei Abernethy's videos makes this ap a must have fir all aspiring karateka.

Such a vast amount of knowledge contained within. And regularly added to. The latest update brings a social media feed within the app, to communicate with the app using community.

Iain is very knowledgeable, any questions just ask him. I have several of his books and DVDs. He knows his stuff.
