This is just a sample app for ibird pro. Has just a few birds, but all the features. I gave it a try just to see if I liked it before spending money on the full app. I must say I am super impressed and will be purchasing the full app today.

Not impressed, I will be deleting and replacing this app. It only contains 50 species and doesn't include even the most common birds in my area.

On starting app for first time on my Galaxy 10, Search for "Bluejay" finds Nothing. Should be a slam dunk. Uninstalled.

Only 50 birds available and 26 of them appear to be variations on hummingbirds.

Lots of information

Kar. C. May 23, 2017

I downloaded this app with a mind to purchase the full one if I found it useful in identifying birds. Unfortunately I found it unhelpful. I didn't see a way to sort the birds in a manner that assists identification, like color or perching or water. All I saw were thumbnail pictures that weren't even photos (which I find more accurate). I did like the rather detailed info ( the bird calls are nice) you can access once you've determined what you're looking at. May work for some but just not what I wanted.

I am amazed by how responsive and intuitive iBird's user interface is. I only installed the free sampler version, but I am so impressed that I will be back for iBird Pro.
