Seems to work as advertised, my only minor criticisms are GUI related. 1) even on my Note5 the radio buttons are hard to use because hit-testing is only being done on the circle itself. 2) On the audio settings page the volume control buttons only work and show the volume popup when a sound is in the process of playing, which is silly given how short most of them are. Tell your app programmer to intercept the onKeyDown event and call adjustStreamVolume with STREAM_MUSIC.
HORRIBLE , if I could give this app 0 stars I would. I have an Samsung Galaxy S10e and this app will not work. It says that the app was made for older phones and may not work properly. It doesn't work at all. The developers need to create an update so people with newer phones can use the app.
Terrible. Bluetooth connected. "No devices found" according to the App. Uninstalling and returning device (that can't be found). Don't waste your time.
Terrible!! It won't see my Samsung Note 9. I'll have to spend more money for a Thermoworks Smoke or higher quality therm with current technology and a functional app. Thanks for nothing!!

Now that I updated to Android 10 the Bluetooth connection won't work. It needs a update.

The app would not pair the Maverick ET37 iChef thermometer with my Samsung Galaxy 9plus.
I thought this worked pretty good for the price. For myself the range was about 30 to 40 feet with clear line of sight. 30 ft and Max inside with the window open. I just left my phone on the window seal. I smoked a brisket and used two probes one for the meat and one for the Smoker Temp. It was nice getting a little extra sleep not having to set my alarm every hour and a half or so for fire watch. I was using my Note 8
Terrible and useless app.. Bluetooth is garbage abd doesnt work unless sitting on top of the device .
Enjoy the app. Coverage is as good but can diminish sometimes as i would expect when going through wall's through the house. Would like to see a history graph in the app for us that use if for smoking over long smokes.
Start reporting this company (Maverick Housewares) to the companies they make apps for (William Sonoma, iGrill). They make terribly poor quality apps with no updates or maintenance. The company does not deserve to be in business. This app does not allow you to open. It install crashes.
Real disappointed on the distance of the blue tooth range. You have to be close for the phone to pick up the thermometer. Be nice to be on the couch watching the game and be able to check how the temp is on the grill outside.

I have a Nexus 5X running Android 7.0, and when I turn on the Bluetooth on my ET-735, then open the app, after about 15 seconds of searching, the app says "No devices found". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, still the same thing

My Android phone says it is paired with the transmitter, but the app says no deviceis found. So it seems that the transmitter works better with my phone than with its own app. Emailed just now, and waiting for Maverick to fix the issue. Until its fixed: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT Update: so, never got this app to work, in spite of the model i bought being the ET 735. So the review stays at 1 (because 0 isnt an option)
