icq video calls & chat

Been using this app daily for a while now, I must say that I'm very satisfied. Especially on desktop, everything works perfectly fine for me, never had an issue yet which is very encouraging. The only few things I hope will be added in the future are: - The same text formating on phone and desktop; bold, italic, that'd be very useful but still missing on the app. - I don't know if it's common to everyone's app, but I can't adjust the camera focus, so taking a pic is nearly impossible... Thanks!

All-in-one Replacement. Seen a few bad reviews so figured I needed to speak up. My wife and I have had several issues with Google messages, texts not sending or taking several mins to send. Content blocked and removed by Facebook messages. Kik doesn't not save history. Handcent slow sms. Chomps slow sms. Love this app. Search feature, photo saves, link saves. Feels like a well built all included client. We have even use it for phone calls. I recent installed in on my PC to text as well!

It keep says updating. Unfortunately I cannot use it. My phones update is latest update and android app as well but I don't know why it keep says UPDATING, it's been 4 and half week now. When ever it was saying updating and next day it was ok but like I said it's been more than 4 and half week now. We've been using this app for over 5 / 6 years. Please do sort this problem out ASAP. Thanks.

Can't even register. Says "An error has occurred. Please try again later". Tried multiple times. Copied and pasted the code. Error. Selected to allow the app to access phone/call logs etc. It autofilled, then went back to the first screen with the same error again. 5 mins in and I'm already uninstalling. So disappointed.

Very quickly after install it became so slow that it is unusable. I tried clearing but that didn't work. Also stores so much user data >1Gb and there is no option to clear that?? In short app is unusable.

So cool application. But I request the developer to please add stories and status option such as in facebook and what's app then it would be great! Hello once again I have been using this app since 2 months and now it is showing updating in chat box and keep showing that the exchange of messages has stopped!please help me.

When I first installed it beginning of 2018 it notified me everytime a text came in. It's been months now that, no matter what I do, it doesn't notify me when texts come in. I changed phones and the problem persists. Update Oct. 7 Notification sound is still unreliable, sometimes it rings, sometimes it doesn't. Update July 4th, 2020, everything seems to be working fine now. I receive all the notifications from my contacts and the app has a secret pin for safety. Very satisfied w/apps privacy.

Have been using it from past 2 yrs.. Lil bit of technical glitch here and there, else the app is awesome 👍 Update: after 2 more years of usage (4yrs total),I would say this app has really worked hard in improving. Well done Update.1:. 1.5 more years of continuous usage .still works the same way . sometime lags time but than its ok . Nice work done Best of luck From an old user 😊

Waiting for videos to load takes a long time before I can watch it. I can't join any new groups or subscribe to any new channels (I've been using the app for a bit and I'm part of many groups)

Literally does not work. It is impossible to login without a password, and there is no option to register so that you can login with one. Even if you try on their site, the code they send to your phone doesn't work. Edit: and that link they keep posting to "fix" this issue doesn't even mention the login problem anywhere. What a joke

I like this app because the headquarters is not in the U.S. 😁 I wish I could crop a photo ir video. Currently the GIFs sent to me don' move. 🤪

Used to be a good app. But now, I can't sign in to my account and password reset is also not working. Just a waste of time.

Great idea but after a few weeks taking forever to open or load the app and then says it has to be close do to some problem getting over it i have been trying to open the the past few days qnd dont get past a circle going around on screen for loading then app un able to open close and does the same thing i have tried every thing so is either q bug in the app

I like the app but few issues that need to be fixed: 1. GIFs don't play 2. Video call gets stuck

I used icq ages ago and I downloaded it again two days ago. It has beautiful UI, it is very easy to use and it has a lot of stickers. However, when I get a message, I don't get notified 🤔 I made sure everything is turned on: sound, vibration and even the light indicator but no luck. I get a message and it doesn't notify me. If you could fix it that would be awesome!

After learning that one of my favourite messaging apps was shutting down, ibwas extremely upset. I ended up searching far and wide for an app that could suit my needs, and eventually stumbled upon this. Needless to say, it's already made it's way into one of my Favourite messaging apps. It's easy to use, customizable, and comfortable. It supports everything I used before- Gifs, Bitmoji, etc.- and the added stickers are a great touch! I couldn't be happier.

Pretty great messenger and call service but why not five stars? In messaging search would be nice, and the messages are slightly off vertical center of the chat bubble. No simple way to become invisible in app. Channel search doesn't let you search new channels. But I must say this, best call and video quality of all the apps available, and I use them all. I reinstalled out of nostalgia but I think I'll keep it because I believe it's on its way to being an app I depend on regularly.

I have used ICQ a lot on desktop as an app back in 1998 for chatting, it had all digits as user ID and I was surprised to see this in Google app store. I just love (I seek you) ICQ app. If I'm not wrong my ID was 59806630 wow, it's been 24yrs - Love from India

Nice app. Although sometimes it stops abruptly. However it's worth it the fun

I am having a problem with web icq I installed I cq after 2 months when I put my number in web icq get a error you have attempted to many times try again later even it was a first time after 2 months than I getting other ither errors :-(

The notification sound is like in the olden days! But newly joined friends don’t appear in the contact list.

The download system is very bad. You can download only one media at a time. Better than this, the media download option in WhatsApp is very good.

I've had this app before it looks like it was updated I like this and specially the same stickers I found our here😇😇😇 I've done this before I wrote this message but I'll say this that icq new is amazing I could even send jokes videos especially when it comes to funny pictures or videos and making fun of them thinking that they look like a big polar bear or something this is fun even my wife has this one she loves it she adores it so do I if there's something new please tell us now I seek you

No doubt its very good app but last few days not working well when you install and put your cell number for login it said check your internet or network conection,i reinstall again and again but nothing may be some issue from main server of icq so everyone complaining in reviews

it is not working,my message is not sending to my friends and i again install after unintaslling this apps code takes more time and show internet connection problem while internet connection is running perfectly

I have been using ICQ for 20+ years, started using it on Amiga. Simple send/receive messages with friends. I never cared about silly image filters and more bloat added in each version, but I kept using it. And sadly it is end of an era for ICQ. No more simple UIN/Password account creation. Why after all these years it needs to be connected to phone number (and all the extra info collected)?! Since this change I only have 2-3 friends online and all of them have use also different chat protocols. It was great while it lasted... time to uninstall ICQ

The most laggy and un optimized chat app ever! Can't even download videos, it's so slow! What is this a high school project?

SHAME. No option for videos streaming. If you upload a video everyone has to download full file to watch it. So creepy in 2022.
