After you turn on the plugs, leave the application and go back the plugs don't show they are on. The timers don't work, and it doesn't stay sync with the time on the phone. Upgrades are needed for this app. I don't think this product was tested very well. I will not buy any more.
Not sure if it's the 'smart' plugs or the app, but I can only set the date to Dec 31, 1969 7:11pm.or 6:11pm if DST is enabled. This renders the timers useless. No method to set the time manually other than "Device Time Sync with App". Timers show as the current date. I didn't know they had wifi smart plugs in 1969...So why would I want to set it to this date? Also, the devices sometimes take a minute to "log in". Other brands of smart plugs only take seconds. Something needs updating.
The app works great, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. But, to the creater(s) of the app, PLEASE release an update that includes the option to add a widget to the user's Android phone home screen! All it needs to be is a simple 1x1 widget that controls the on/off function of the actual "plug" device (like the app does). I hope other users of the app agree with me, thank you for your time and effort app creator(s), I really hope you take my advice!
Had problems setting this up to start with however after choosing the slower Network of the two networks available to me from my provider I was able to set the device up and it works fine. The instructions do not instruct you to use the Network however after researching the problem I discovered the smart sockets do not like 5G Networks.
If i could give it 0 stars, I would. Absolutely worthless! As soon as you open the app, it says it's out of date & needs updates, of which there are none. Then says my Wi-Fi password is incorrect. Reading it right off the router. GARBAGE! Returning this piece of junk immediately. Glad it wasn't a Christmas gift! Wouldn't that have been wonderful?
Definitely needs some refining because it works very inconsistent. Maybe it works and maybe it wont, one never knows until you get home to see if the light has been turned on or not. It has potential though.
Between the manual and this app, couldn't connect thr plug to Xfinity Technicolor router modem. Talk suggests app or device security modes are mismatched to modern devices, so stuff is outdated. Go figure.
The app and plug are total trash!!! Return it immediately!!! It will NOT connect to WiFi therefore making it completely useless!!!
Needs to be updated. Doesn't work with newer phones. Last time this worked was 10 years ago
Horrible outlet and i have 7 cheap wifi outlets of all different brands linked through google home could not even get past the setup part of this app i am returning this immediately should have known there was gonna be an issue once i seen a different app for each of thier products
Absolutely horrendous i had to put in a 32 character number and connect to wifi and put in an ssid and then threw it in the trash that took a total of 30 mins ive used multiple smart apps and this is the worst do not recommend
Horrible, can get it to work with ip came brand new. Not one has ever worked. Won't connect to the app. Same for smart led bulb and smart socket. Just so disappointed. Don't waist your time money .
Unable to sync time. Therefore it is useless for me. I am able to turn it on/off with the app. Alexa has not recognized it.
Not user friendly at all. Instead of listing wifi in range. It requires to input UID. What is that. Crazy developer.
The app will not recognize my password;therefore, the outlet is useless. ICRAIG doesn't seem to care! Perhaps, that is why they were at a discount store! Nothing but REAL junk! Run don't walk from this clunker!
Good luck. I tried to connect this wall socket for over an hour with no luck. Like other reviews this is not a good product!!!!
my app is stuck on Dec 31, 1969. tried syncing date with device but nothing works!!! help please!
P.O.S plug , cant find my network. Will not connect on line or take the qr code on the plug. Waste of time. Stay away from. junk!
Doesn't work with Android 9 It doesn't find my router with my Android 9 phone, but does with my wife's Android 7 phone, but still doesn't connect.
Says it's for a older version of Android and doesn't work. The Developer needs to update this app.
Absolutely does NOT work with any connection method. This is getting returned immediately.
Just so bad that it's hard to imagine they published it to begin with and then let it stick around unfixed for a continued beating on their brand name.

Worthless outlet and app! They never connect. I let out sit for 3 hours and nothing. $5 Down the drain. DO NOT BUY OR USE! DOES NOT WORK!
The app won't allow you to enter your SSID there for you can never get the plug set up.

works perfect had to reboot a few things but connected flawlessly. great product!
Don't spend your money on this product. Take it back to the store you got it from and return it. I cannot possibly say a single good thing about this product.
Creeps me out that this app needs access to my camera, storage files, and microphone...? i found that i had to use the camera to snap the qr code in order to connect the plug to wifi, but after connecting, i went back into settings and removed the app's permissions to those extra features. additionally, the entire interface is just crappy. i much prefer the other smart plug brands i have around the house and will not buy iCraig again.
