It works at first but after awhile the sync stops and can't resolve the name. And the iCal events have changed but it doesn't reflect on calender in my Phone. 😭, Update - 11/2/21. Now my autosync is disabled with no reason. So I have to make manually update it. - Update 11/10/21 - I followed the instructions to make sure the app doesn't go to sleep but events that are on my calender will have been updated with new date and time won't reflect thru the app. Lost a star for it.
It works for my Sonarr calendar, but once a day when it's set to automatically sync it gives me an error notification. Then when I press the notification, go in the app and pull down to refresh, it just works again.. any ideas? Thanks.
Although this app is free, it just doesn't work. It just constantly looses and deletes the ical URL. So totally pointless and not worth trying. More frustrating than useful. Update... its when the phone is put on power saving mode that the URL is lost. Update to developers comment 17/5/20... surely there is a workaround for this? Store the URL text somewhere else so it can be simply copied back easily to correct it? But other similar apps work so what are you doing differently?
If needed, the app DAVx5 may request the install of the app ICSx5 to allow the sync of some shared calendars. Once installed, this app will work with DAVx5. Since DAVx5 and ICSx5 installed, all my calendars are well synced, both my personal and shared calendars. Thanks to the dev's !
Thank you for making it. Apparently this (syncing a web calendar every 15 minutes) is something that is beyond the ken of the likes of Google, Microsoft and Samsung. Well worth the small price (more like donation, really).
Does exactly what I needed to it to do. One thing I would like to see is to be able to set the sync time per calendar subscription, not just a rule for all.
Saw comments regarding business calendar 2 and wanted to avoid Google and 24 hr calendar url update. This app worked immediately. Straightforward.
Superb app, lightweight and efficient. well worth paying for. Been looking for a simple Android app to do this job, without success until this excellent app. Well done to the developers.
This does exactly what it said it would. It syncs my work calendar by periodically downloading an ICS
Great ics calender syncing tool. Worth the $1.49 they charge for it
exactly what I need..let's you add calendars from other apps and websites easily
Won't sync calendars despite hours of changing settings as recommended.
Works great with Office 365 published calendar
Seamless integration with davx5. Nice job!
Does work, can connect 😉 using with ProtonCalendar and it's 5 🌟 s from me
Doesn't work. Can't connect.
Installed and Just works. Thanks.
Does nothing hated it!
Does what it says, no more or less.
Unfortunalety I get connection error notifications all the time (using it to sync teamup calendars). Once a server connection is established, everything works fine. Very annoying behavior, uninstalled it again!
latest update broke sync. complains about timezone being null
Works as advertised and that's all I need :). Nice to see the app is being updated to iron out minor quirks every now and then.
All I searched for!
Worked immediately and without fail. It integrated my internet calendar with the app I use for calendars. Perfect!
I've tried a whole bunch of ICS sync apps, to avoid having to submit to my company's BYOD policy for Office365, and this one works the best IMHO. I'd happily give the final star if you could add the ability to set a default per-calendar reminder time for each appointment it syncs down. It's a little frustrating not getting reminders on my phone for work appointments, when I'm away from my desk for prolonged periods. Bonus points if you could add some sort of capability to add a filter to NOT add such a reminder, eg. if I just block out some time on my work calendar, let me put NOALARM in the subject, or something, to avoid setting a reminder for that specific appointment.
Exactly what I need, except I would appreciate if it had the ability to put a shortcut on the home screen to refresh the calenders.
Update: it works until I change my password (at the source and in ICS) then it stops updating except when I restart the phone. Support guys were great, and we decided in the end that my firewall was blocking it. Workaround is that each time you change your password you have to uninstall and reinstall.
